I prefer taking injections to taking drugs anytime any day. That drug is a no no for me. |
Your annual leave does not include weekends and or public holidays. While applying for the leave state how many days leave you are to proceed, state the date your leave begins calculate the days and exclude weekends and public holidays state the date your leave end and your date of resumption. The problems I have come to realize about most employees is either they don't know there rights or they don't understand how it works. I have faced similar situations in the past and that's the approach I use since most of them are not wise enough to calculate their leave without holidays and weekends and I never had issues. In most cases the HR will be silence the moment they realize you don't know are to do the calculations. |
I am really happy for this achievements of your to me its one of the best achievement one must attain on earth. The almighty God will bless you beyond limit and your children will forever be a source of joy to you. I feel like giving you a hug Nice2023: |
I am much interested in this topic because I will likely do the same by the time I am leaving the apartment I occupy presently, I have no problems with the landlord anyway but the manner at which the lawyer collected the stupid caution fee from me. I almost borrow the caution fee from my enemy you can understand I even pleaded with him to let me park in and pay him the caution fee later but he insisted no way. Though the bible didn't teach us to revenge but each time I remember what I went through before raising that caution fee I always look forward to the day I will be leaving the apartment. May God help because I still had that thought last night. Why can't the landlord refund the caution fee in peace, it amount to a breach of agreement. |
Let's set it straight what you did was rude and dismissive to your future in law for that matter. Try to find a way to apologize before the matter get's out of hand. But come to think of it put yourself in there shoes and see how it feels. |
yaseer111:If the penalty for absence is 500 per day and your salary is 12,850 then if if you are absent for say 27 days does it mean you are going to balance your employer. Just asking? May God give you a job of your wish that's servitude of the highest order. |
dawnomike:I disagree with you, he actually needs a job because what he is doing at present is not a job but slavery. |
I don't know what prompted this headline but I don't have a choice than to quickly contribute at almost 50 I have no Idea of those games. Sincerely I don't understand anything in the game don't even know where and how to start with. I think our government is the problem we weren't introduced to the game from elementary school |
If with good intention it's a laudable idea moreso I guess ADB is involved because our government are increasingly becoming unreliable. As they keep giving us these news from time to time and it will eventually yield no result a good example is Ajaokuta and our refineries. Let them keep to their words by implementing the good ideas and see the balance of trade will improve. And as for we the citizens we need to encourage them to do more of these rather than condemning them all the time. God bless the federal republic of Nigeria. No place like naija. |
I like the two but I will go for puff puff anytime anyday. Especially that one that have a taste of pepper I don't joke with it 🤣 |
I was surprised when I saw PGMOL apologising what a Bleep are they talking about will that bring back the point? Besides Jota had no contact in the first yellow card the guy missplaced his steps and fell. The officiating was unfair to Liverpool. |
[quote author=specialofficer You really messed up bro, you shouldn't have allowed your anger to lead you to destroying property. But like someone rightly said the landlord acted out of anger as well which you can do worse if you are in his shoes. meanwhile like someone said let your mom keep begging him on your behalf with time he will agree and you have to show to the man that you are remorseful and he should please forgive you. Next time ensure you engage the agent and tell him your greviances he will be in best position to handle the matter. post=125922645]I have been having some in my room, I live with my mum and sister , it's a 3 bedroom flat, we pay 1.4m yearly and we've paid 3 times, last payment was in may. My landlord increased the pressure point of our water in the compound and now water gas been leaking, pipes got burst in the wall and water has been coming out from walls and pop, I started complaining last month but they didn't do anything about it, it got to a point when the water was too much in my room, I wanted to get my landlords attention so I had to spoil our pumping machine and I brought out all the dirts in our dustbin, I acknowledge my mistakes but it was out of anger. My landlord confronts me and we got into an argument and we insulted each other, I know i was wrong but if I didn't spoil that pumping machine, the landlord wouldn't have called plumber to repair the issues I was having in my room, I even discovered that i wasn't the only one experiencing such thing, my neighbors too were also having that same issues. According to my landlord, he said he's not the one collecting money from us, we paid money to agent and if we have any issues we should contact the agent, this particular agent is his elder brother but this my landlord is living in our compound with us, though he has numerous houses. Now my landlord said he doesn't want to see me again in his compound and has threatened my mum with quit notice, he said it's either I leave the house or my family would leave , he instructed the gateman not to open gate for me again or else he'll sack him. My fellow nairalanders I really need your help, how will I go about this? Modified; The landlord threatened to call police if he ever sees me in his compound, he said he'll win me in court and it's malicious damage to his property, mind you, there's no evidence that I committed the offence, our gateman was the only eye witness.[/quote] |
How do you feel after saying this, the poor lad just told you he has realised what he did is wrong and I expected you to give him a piece of advice or way forward after all your comments visaclick: |

I am also facing the same problem since yesterday morning I had to use my son's phone as collateral at computer village where I went to fix my phone yesterday after waiting for an alert for over four hours. I couldn't sleep till daybreak just checking my phone if my account has been credited |
Our Igbo brothers and arrogance are like 5&6, you give them the opportunity in your region they tell you they are superior to you for accommodating them making you look like a fool. What happened in Lagos a repeat of what happened in China, Mauritius, South Africa and India you people keep giving Nigeria names outside the country. Come to think of it how many outsider can own a piece of land in the SE. But you want to give to others what you cannot take. Sincerely I don't hate Igbos as person but they need to change their attitudes. They will come to the south west and tell us a man can't come from Osun state and hold elective office in Lagos for heaven sake Yorubas have been like that from ages since you are a Yoruba man you qualify to be elected in your area of residence but in Igbo land a man from Anambra can't become a councillor in Imo this is example of what our Igbo brothers need to learn from the Yorubas. |
You have done no wrong bro, but please try to be a man it's your home not your moms'. You can always reconcile with her later and by this act she will know her boundary. Meanwhile, your wife needs to be tutored the relationship is between you and her not everything that you discuss as couple should be discussed with your mother. Please reconcile with your mom and let her realise it's your home. |
Soup to the left and swallow to the right, it drives me crazy if you serve me food the other way. |

I like your post, it makes me smile as I have a host of songs I don't really like but find my myself singing from time to time. |
Ops thanks for posting this question, I have been asking people the same question for some time. Even if Tinubu is not the preferred candidate which other candidate(s) have shown interest and seriously consulting like Tinubu. I suspect it's will be a matter of'when the preferred candidate is not available the available candidate will be preferred. |
Good day Nairalanders, I saw this book somewhere but I tried to get it from bookshops but can't find it. The book teaches about courtesy and the title is ' Yes please! No thanks!' by a Nigerian author. Anyone that has the clue on how I can get the book should please help. |
