We received an email today from CIC with the Subject title visa Ready with instructions on how to submit our passport, there is no update on our application .
Family of 4
PNP New Brunswick- December 2021
AOR - December 2021
Application submitted January 2022
Medicals done - December 2021
Medicals passed - March 2022
Visa Ready email May 2022

Pls my dear people which fees is VAC Passport Transmission fee and how is it made to the VAC. We already made all payment at application submission. Abeg make una no vex. Guide a learner please.

Good day special people, I need your candid suggestion pls
My sisters study permit application was recently approved, she is to resume school on the 9th of May. She has 4 kids and want them to be with her in Canada while she studies.

Her husband is not willing to come to Canada at the moment, however he is ready to apply for any visa that will allow him bring the kids to Canada to come be with their mom.

Do you advise he applies for a spousal open work permit and study permit for the 4 kids since they are of school age

or they all apply for a visitors visa to enable him drop the kids off in Canada as soon as possible.

Wow! Submitted application on the 10th of Nov and got PPR on the 10th of Feb, exactly 3months. Keep sending emails and webforms, morning and night. When Nairobi sent my PPR letter, Abuja office informed me. So send emails to all of them. Also pray always.

Thank you for your prompt response, I did as advised, I am currently scheduled for Jan 23 ,2023, I will request for an emergency appointment with 60 days to the start date.

Applied on the 28th of November, got an appointment in qlife on the 25th of march.
Pls Is this a positive sign?
Do you advice she completes her tuition fees payment ?

You guys should reach out to a Canadian Immigration lawyer to help with a Judicial review asap. you have 30 or 60 days from the day the decision was made to challenge it in a Canadian Federal High court. It is expensive but if all your documentation was legitimate, I encourage you to go for JR immediately.

Please my brother applied for Canada student visa using an agent. He said they had issues along the line. His Passort came back with visa and was written 'cancelled without prejudiced'. Please what is the meaning of this?

Yes you have too. But you could try visit visa through the new portal and apply for your spouse open work permit when he/she arrives in canada it takes 180days to get sowp with canada. But the visit visa on the new portal also has a 94days span now which is almost or around 3months.

I am trying to apply for a SOWP and visitors visa for my 2 kids,
The issue now is that, I created a profile on the new portal, but there is no work permit option, only study and visit.
Pls guys who applied for SOWP on the new portal, how did you guys go about it.
I urgently need your advise.

SOWP Application:

Date Applied - May 21st, 2021
Upfront Medicals -August 23rd,2021
Approved - February 4th, 2022 (37 weeks)!

Visitor Visa Application:

Date Applied - October 23rd, 2021
IRCC requested we withdraw the application since the sowp has already been approved - February 4th, 2022.

NOTE : Eligibility and Criminality has been passed since December 1st, 2021 on the visit visa application
January 24th, I requested for urgent Processing on the visit visa application, the mp submitted to IRCC on my behalf.

A big Thank you to Sam4774 for his assistance! It was from his post I got to know about urgent processing from IRCC.

I actually deferred to January 2022 when I could not get a date before the original fall 2021 start date. I have only one opportunity to defer as per Bowling Green state university policy which I have utilized. I have to apply afresh for admission consideration if I do not get the chance to attend the visa interview this time.

Why not defer till next semester, applying 4weeks after resumption is really not the best for your profile. Taught ER is 60days to your start date

Good day everyone,
Please I need your advise and suggestion on what to do.
My visa interview is on the 17th of February 2022 at the Abuja Embassy. However my program started on the 10th of January 2022, I could not get an earlier date, all emergency appointment dates request were denied, I even had to pay the MRV fees twice.
I am just wondering if there is an issue with attending a scheduled study visa appointment 4 weeks after the program start date.

Bowling Green state University
Msc in Construction management Technology.
I had to defer from fall 2021 to January 2022 because there were no dates last year and my emergency appointment request were not approved.
I can not defer the second time, I have to apply afresh if I do not get the chance to attend this interview
