HI team,

I promised to give update when my results come out, my story is:

took IELTS results were LSRW 8.5,7.5,7,6 and had to take it again

New result LSRW 8.5,7.5,7,7 i guess this is good if the draws remain low. i have masters and 33 years. my spouse's IELTS result has not been received. However, if my spouse's result is LSRW 7,7,7,6, without ECA for my spouse's masters, CRS should be 444.

Any tit bits from the house on how to proceed? I intend entering the pool with what we have since bday is in July.

Your thoughts please.

Thanks a lot buddy, would try and get other stuff sorted and just simply chill till the Passport is out before I hit the submit button. except that I am worried that if I don't submit before my birthday in June.... it may affect my ITA.

My People should I be worried?.... my CRS score as at today is 431....By June I will be 31yrs, which means the CRS score will reduce to 426. I should receive ITA based on my score though give the cut off released today.

Hello house. Hubby checked his ielts result and made 6.0 overall (Listening 6.0, Reading 5.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 6.5). He is the principal applicant and his twin is in Canada with his family (Permanent residents). Can we go on with the Express Entry application with this result or he takes the exam again? Thanks.

You are too funny, I had to join Nairaland for this. But the truth is, I don't think you can go through with marrying someone because you stand to gain something, if you have an active conscience.

Trust me I almost did, but liver fail me.

Thanks. So in the case of me having MSc, B.Eng and ND, and my spouse will be the main applicant (no transcript problem from her side), please what is the best way around this (I mean will the ND be useful?). Presently, the school where I had my B.Eng is in crisis and it is sure that wont be resolved pretty soon, while the other two schools are ready to issue my transcripts. Moreso , I had already included B.Eng and ND in the WES form. Except a strong assurance about my earlier question that, will WES not change my already issued reference number while payment is still pending.
Have I not shot myself in the leg in various ways now?

Please, can somebody help me, in IELTS listening test, is everyone going to have an earpiece or the test will be broadcast once to everyone in the test hall since the message will not be repeated.

Also during the listening period is it possible to pencil down somethings or what are the general skill that could be of help. Thanks for all responses in advance

I have looked through the initial pages thinking I could get a detailed step by step information about the application from A to Z.

But the more I check, the more confused I get. can you pls explain the step by step detail of applying through express entry.

I found out that one of the first things to do is..IELTS. I just registered for that and should be writing the test next month.

Please help a confused brother.

Hello house. PLEASE, ABEG, I NEED HELP.

I'm presently working towards an EE application. The issue I'm having is PASSSPORT.

I had an electronic passport which got lost last year. Before then, I had both Ghana and Benin Republic stamps on them. I didn't require a visa because it was just visiting I went for. Now that I am interested in EE it has become necessary for me to do another passport and I was told the lost passport number will also reflect on the new. My questions are:

1) How do I go about filling 'travel history' on the EE application.
2) Do I have to write a LOE on my lost passport telling them my travel history there or I totally ignore it.
3) If I even decide to write LOE, how do I prove that I've been to those countries and I didn't stay long enough to need a PCC?
4) Is there a way they can just run a background check on my old passport number and see that I've been to those countries?

Also, I hear lost passport replacement can only be done in Abuja. Is it true?

Make una help me abeg. The thing is giving me sleepless night.

Any document valid on or before receiving ITA, despite expiring afterwards, is still valid for that PR process.
