if an ITA is declined and profile withdrawn, when creating a new profile, answer to 'has xyz applied for canadian immigration' bla bla would still be No i presume since no post ITA Application was submitted? Pls help with this

Pls after receiving ITA is it necessary to rewrite ietls if the test expires? Or can 1 submit the forms a month to when d test will expire. Or will sm1 have to rewrite even after submitting

When submitting your application, your IELTS must still be valid. That's all. If you submit on Monday, your ielts can expire on Tuesday, doesn't matter as long as it was still valid when you submitted.

But if you claimed points for your work experience meaning if it added to your score, it matters. In claiming 3 years work experience, if your own work experience was added to make up the 3 years or more then your NOC matters.

Hello peeps. Just to reconfirm. I am using WES for my ECA for 2 degrees in the same school. Below are my questions:
1. Can both degrees transcript be in a single envelope rather than individual envelopes.? Would WES accept this?
2. Is the photocopy of my certificates the only documents that I would send to WES while the school send the transcript?

1. Don't know abt this but I'm thinking it shd be fine with WES. Gurus help out on this.

2. Yea, better still print out a coloured scanned copy and send to them. If you have someone in the abroad (US, UK etc), you can scan it and email to them. They can print out and send to WES for u, a lot cheaper.

1) With a Masters from a Canadian University, is there a need to do the ECA for the Nigerian BSC? Just abit confused cos I know that ECA is for the highest degree and I will be receiving points for my Masters not Bsc.

2) The two English exams are less than a year but the most recent gives me a lesser score and I saw this on their website

No need for ECA bro, ur Canadian MSc is ok.

As long as IELTS is still valid, i.e less than 2 years old you can use it. But bear in mind, it must still be valid when submitting your PR application (that's post ITA)

Why don't you create another profile with the correct information and hope to get an ITA next time? Afterwards, you can decline your current ITA and withdraw the EE profile.

Depends on ur years of work experience, ielts score, marital status. Read from page 0, you'll get the hang of it and know where you stand.

Yes, you can start from just where you started the transfer to your own account.

If he/she is claiming a gift deed from his/her sister, the acct details of the sister is not required. Just the notarised gift deed and applicant's 6 month bank statement and bank reference letter.

Why do you want to decline? U can share with the house maybe the experienced people can advise you accordingly. Don't assume score will go down cos CIC might just surprise us.

I stopped working early last year but my sis who helped in creating my profile put there that that's where I still work. Now it won't affect my score if I change dates cos I'll still have 3 years but if I submit my account, there won't be any salary transactions. I have even closed the acct as it was empty and I wasn't using it. 1. If I now change dates, I dunno if that will be an issue and 2. if I submit my other active acct with required POF, gift deed but no salary transactions, won't this be an issue.

I've not declined but I made some errors in my profile I'm seriously thinking of declining. You can't have two ITAs on one profile at d same time. If you decline an ITA ur profile goes back into the pool then u can get another ITA if u meet any cut off of subsequent draws. I'm just scared if I decline and cut off shoots up

In my case, speaking was mid week then the rest were on the weekend after. But I've seen cases where all was done on the same day (weekend).

I used WES, was easy. I called school, told them abt WES n they were really familiar with it. School charged 40 quid for the extra transcript. I downloaded the WES form, filled my part n sent to school they filled theirs and put in envelope with my transcript n sent to them. Took just 2 days and status on WES changed.

I used ieltsadvantage.com. It has a detailed explanation of both essays you're gonna write. How to paragraph, what each paragraph should contain and a lot of other info. You can additionally just search for ielts writing on YouTube, you'd get a wealth of info on there as well. Try bumping up your reading to 8 too while you're at it, increases your score enormously.

Ideally, ur highest qualification is enough. However, If you can get ur first degree easily then do both as it doesn't cost extra. Most ppl did first degree here in Naija n getting transcript sent to WES from some Naija schools is harder than Arsenal winning the league so they just do their MSc.

MSc alone is okay but if you can get ur BSc easily, then you can as well do that too. Doesn't cost any extra. But MSc is just fine.

Based on what i have read so far, I realise that IELTS is one of the major hurdles (if not the main sef) to scale through if one want to get high score so as to enter the pool and get ITA asap.

Relevance of working experience on NOC

Wife: Currently works for one of the big 4 consulting Multinational firms and job function is on NOC but educational background does not relate to job function.

hubby: 8 years in banking( operations and marketing),presently working a well known Multinational FMCG with over a year working experience and current job function is on NOC.( Note that 2 years previous working experience in the banking is also relevant to current job function)

WES evaluation is in progess. Both should meet Canada education equivalent.

Questions
who should be the PA?
Do we have change of getting good score?
What materials can help in getting good score in IELTS and what should we aim for.
Any other advice is welcome!

You guys are pretty neck n neck in education and work experience, you need just 3 years work exp. Ur IELTS scores will pretty much determine who is PA. She's a year younger, she might have higher scores based on that but see ur ielts results first, that will determine. Aim for L8.5, R8, S and W 7.5. The person with closest score to this wins the PA race. YouTube is ur best friend for ielts along with ieltsliz, ieltsadvantage and the materials from British Council and I can't emphasize this enough, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

NOC is not required to be related to Education.

Guidance fee is 100k. Go to Alagbon at Obalende. Take ur Intl passport and 2 passport photographs. Just tell them at d entrance you want a police clearance, they will direct u. I paid 7500. I can send number of d guy that did mine if you want. Won't take more than 30mins.

Medicals and Police Report done. Can answer questions on how to go about these two.

Yea, copr and passports duly stamped by london VO. Sent them via DHL to vfs london with a prepaid return envelope and bank transfer for vfs fees in GBP into their uk account. this is a different procedure from the accra vo, just in case anyone gets a ppr from london.

How much is that vfs fees?

Prior to application, gift deed are not required to be there for a length of time. Post application, has to be there till your application is treated. Why don't you just merge the gift deeds. Everyone gifting you money shd send to one person's acct and then get a single gift deed from that one person.
