Please people, I have ALL the wealth of information I need to start the process of this immigration through FSWP and from my calculations, I'll need 5.6m naira for everything. I have an average paying job but I can never raise that amount of money. I have 4 questions.

1) How am I going to raise this money? Loan? Extra business? Please share how you got the money needed for this.
2) Those that got job offers from here, please how did you do it?
3) Those that had no job offer or provincial nomination, how in the world did you get enough points to be able to qualify for ITA?
4) I saw also that a certain amount of money is needed to show proof of funds. If I get a job offer, this is unnecessary right? Or do I need it no matter what?

Gurus can add to this, I'll answer to d best of my knowledge.

1. Some have the money, some like me have family that can easily raise the money and I get a gift deed, others borrow from different sources and return back after a successful application. I wouldn't advise loan cos of interest, or u borrow from a friend that will charge little or no interest. If I sabi biz wey I go make $12k+, my sister I won't be heading to Canada.

2. Getting a job is really difficult. Most ppl on this thread didn't get jobs before ITA.

3. It's a combination of age, education, ielts and possibly marital status. For me, very good ielts, masters, single and ermm not too old gave me a mark slightly above 450. So it's a combination of all that, if u ain't young, MSc and good ielts couple with at least 3 yrs experience might get u an okay mark. With cut off getting low, you never know.

4. This is where the Gurus might have to come in. I don't think u need POF if you got a concrete job offer but I AM NOT CERTAIN ABOUT THIS.

As for ur daughter, no allowance for a month will set the eyes right back where it needs to be. JK

No cash inflow into applicant account at all. Say An engineer with OND. Worked a year after OND. Then went to the university with NYSC after. So the work experience would be the year after OND and NYSC experience. No real cash in account and NYSC pay stub is the regular 19,800. Would gift deed of 3million naira from father with LOE suffice? If not, any sugesstion on how to tackle this?

Gift Deed is what you need bro n yes all the funds can come from ur pops, just include the gift deed.

Hi... Congrats on your ITA.

1. If you can get your Supervisor to write the letter on your behalf, that would be great. All you have to do, like my wife did, is to write the letter yourself, print it out on the letter headed paper and have him sign it. If that's too much of a problem or you don't have access to letter headed papers, have your HR dept write the letter and leave a space for your supervisor to sign. I have a sample I found online... could share with the house if necessary.

2. The mutual funds company can write a letter for you... That should suffice. Let them also explain the money can be liquidated at anytime of your choice. Dunno much about FirstBank, but your bank statement should be fine in addition to the mutual funds letter. If you can get them to also write the letter, you can add it.

You might need to verify with Children Practice and Consultants again. They do not conduct upfront medicals for all PR applications except for Express Entry. And you are expected to show up with your ITA letter to prove you are qualified for upfront medicals.

When next you call, explicitly mention that you are on EE application and not the other immigration processes.

This is under the sponsorship program for spouses, partners and dependants. There is so much info updated on the cic site that it could get confusing a lot of times. We have to carefully cross check the category of persons and class of program the new rules apply to. Click on upfront medical exam here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

i called Children's practice and consultants now and they said upfront medicals has been stopped since December last year. they said the process now is that you submit your application without medicals, then cic will send medical forms to you later and then you can take that with you to the hospital. Pls anyone else can confirm this, hope i didn't misinterpret what i heard.

Abeg who got a draw in the last ITA, sh*t ITA in the last draw, pls let's relate o. Make we do submit this thing. Need it outta d way asap. And pls what's with the news about Medicals, r we no longer supposed to do a medical b4 submitting?

Sort of. I sent my certificate and while it was war getting my transcript, my evaluation was done so I didn't send any transcript, but I had already sent my uk MSc transcript n cert. It might be why they overlooked it but it was immediately OOU confirmed my certificate that my evaluation was completed. Uk MSc had been confirmed weeks before.

ITA received ystday. Never ever thought I'll get one wit 453. Thank God. The journey begins ...
