Just Checked my CIC account now and guess what i saw?? Yes, absolutely Nothing!!!

Day 83 and these a**holes haven't done sh*t. NA2 since 1999. Now preparing for life in 9ja fully.

Winter has truly come, everything is frozen including my application. Rotten VOs, I hate Canada more than the Nigerian Politicians. If you're a VO and you're seeing this, Eat a big bowl of Sh*t, you gobshite.

I need clarification to ascertain if I can apply for EE. Below is my profile:

I am 29 years old and single

I recently got study permit for a two years master's program (Control Systems) at University of Alberta in Canada to commence 5th of September 2017.

I am currently working in a multinational manufacturing company here in Nigeria and recently got an outstanding appraisal report that sees my pay upto NGN 550K monthly.

I have four years experience in the field of Control Systems (Automation Engineer and Instrumentation Engineer in two household name multinational firms).

If I go for the masters I would sponsor myself, and the cost is quite high. But with a PR the cost would drastically reduce.

Now the questions:

Is it possible to start the application for EE entry while I am already in Canada? (As I plan to get my transcript sent to WES before leaving for the masters program)

would you advise based on the experience of those already in Canada, I quit my job for the masters with the hope of securing a PR and good job over there?

Jeez dude, why are you trying to leave tho? You're 29 and earn 550k monthly with a lot of experience under ur belt and u wanna leave that for what? If this was my situation, o boy, f**k Canada o. Anyways my advice is forget that MSc bros, apply for PR straight. Even when u get it, go for a short landing, come back and continue working. After 2 and a half years start applying for jobs in Canada. Then move finally. Better don't complicate ur situation cos u wan comot naija by force. U got it good o.

Why not go do the masters in Canada? That would be the best option or get to the uk then enter the pool. But to answer ur question, yes you can. You must however inform them when you wanna leave the country, you might need to just provide ur visa stamps and maybe new addresses.

Learn your mistakes from any video you practice on but practice with as much videos as you can. You can dedicate a whole day to listening and just get videos upon videos to practice on and act like you're in the exam hall with set timers and all. All the very best. Don't neglect the others too.

You need 100% concentration, like your life depends on it. Forget woman matter, money matter and everything else. It really pays to read the questions before listening to the conversations, it helps you anticipate answers but be careful, some are tricky still. Relax and concentrate. Listening was super easy for me, I had a 9. I just practised a lot, relaxed and concentrated fully.

My suggestion is to explain the situation and request for an extension in a mail to
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. Tell them to give you more time, insult naija very well so dem go give u PPR sharply. Then u gotta go to the passport office and arrange yourself well, u know what I mean.. Include all your details, uci number etc.

Depends on the configuration of the laptop you want, what specs are u looking at? Processor, RAM, HDD size, HDD or SSD, Screen size, etc. When u say not less than 200k, does that mean you can go as high as possible or u meant not more than 200k. Recently bought a Dell for 350k but d specs r quite high. Figure out what you want in the lappy first..

I don't understand when folks say this thread doesn't tackle post ITA issues. I got every single post ITA info I needed from this same thread. Docs to submit in each section, converting to PDF, merging two or more PDF docs, letter to get from the bank, how to go about paying for the application, POF, getting PCC, gift deed samples, hospital info for Medicals and so many more I got from this thread. Are all these not post ITA issues? Questions like how VOs conduct background checks is beyond us na, we be VO? All u shd worry abt is submitting the appropriate docs and how to go about that is all on this thread. The only tricky issue is POF and diff scenarios have been tackled here. If u wanna create a thread for whatever, go ahead but don't say this thread doesn't tackle this and that. 100% of info I needed to submit was gotten off this thread. Just read and open ur brain while reading to understand. It's not rocket science or quantum physics. Same question is repeated on every single page. Gurus in the house, God bless.
