"I'm sure you heard me right.." he said and left the shed for the living room. "Please leave as soon as possible sef, so that the gate can be shut." Uthman grinned as he told Aishat. "Why are you worrying yourself? I'm going to watch over that." Hastrup winked at Uthman with a smile. "You can go in, I'm going to be the gate keeper for today. Madam Aishat, you can leave." Hastrup stretched his right hand to the way that lead to the gate. Aishat hissed and left with Tomisin. ****** "That was brilliant of you, Hakeem." Hastrup grinned in and shook him. "Sure now, that has to be done after the strong combat with death." Uthman smiled and shook him too. "I thought you were going to act like a good Samaritan." Hastrup said and started whistling. "She nearly killed me.." Hakeem said and snapped his fingers at Uthman who had started punching some buttons on his mobile phone. "Won't you visit Derin again?" "It's past six already, I'm going nowhere." He replied Hakeem and rested his back. "Guy, how far with Aminat?" Hakeem asked Hastrup. "My lady dey jere, she never vex." He smiled. ******* AISHAT just kept mute till she drove home and went to her room instantly, to rest. She laid on her bed and was remembering all what had happened that day. She heaved a sigh and wondered why Hakeem treated her the way he did, at least she had gone back to seek forgiveness, he should have forgiven her. Was that all between them? She cogitated. She was still deep in thought when her phone rang. She picked up the phone and smiled on seeing that it was her mother that was calling her mobile phone. "Hello Mum." "This isn't your mum, come here right now, at Olajumoke Hospital." The voice replied her. She took off the phone from her ear and checked the caller again. It was her mother, who was speaking? What could her mum be doing in the hospital? "Please who's this?" She sat up as she felt afraid. "Don't you know my voice any longer? This is Moni, your aunty." The voice replied her. "Aunty Moni..." she stood up then. "What's happening?" She asked. "She's in the hospital here, she came to my place to greet me and slumped." Moni replied her. "Alhaja slummed?" She repeated. "Yes." "Em... which hospital?" She asked again, frightened. "Olajumoke, along Dizengoff road." The woman replied her. "Alright." She knew the place instantly and ended the call. She rushed out of the room and called Tomi to get her informed about the news. Tomisin also joined her and bought rushed out of the house. ******* "Guy, does it mean it is over between you and that crazy girl?" Hastrup enquired. "That's wrong of you! She might be annoying but don't ever term anyone as a crazy person again. Besides, I've not told you we've broken up." Hakeem replied. "So you've not ended this rubbish with that girl? You want her to terminate your life completely right?" Hastrup clapped his hands together. "I thought it was over." Uthman added. "Not only over, you'll soon think it is under.." he retorted. "Instead of you to be managing Azeezat, that Aishat is a pure devil." Hastrup tight his lips together. "What you guys don't know is that the devil one knows from ages is better than the angel met frequently. It's been long I saw Azeezat before we met again, do I really know her characters, how do I tell if Aishat is even better than her? I just want to use her to change Aishat for the better." He explained. "Alright." Uthman waved his hand, dismissing the discussion. ****** OLAJUMOKE HOSPITAL. The hospital was a small hospital which had just a small parking space at the front and had no fence around it. Aishat parked her car at the parking space and came down with Tomisin. Both walked in fastly and met Moni at the reception. "What happened?" Aishat enquired as she moved closer. "She just slumped, the Doctors are still with her." Moni replied. "Why this hospital? I don't like it." She whispered to Moni. The hospital was a small one which didn't look attractive to her. "It's alright too, the priority now is good health." Moni replied her. *AN HOUR LATER* Aishat's mother had gotten better. She sat on the hospital bed and Aishat sat beside her. She enquired what went wrong with her and promised her she'd be fine. Not quite long after then, the result of the test that was run on her was ready and the Doctor came over to her ward to ask her some questions. She started by asking her the symptoms she had always felt and Alhaja replied that she had been feeling sharp pains for years until it developed into the unconscious state. The Doctor left after. "So that thing still happens? You never told me." Aishat uttered She was surprised because her mother didn't tell her that it still did happen to her. "Yes." Her mother replied her. "Dad didn't tell me likewise..." she frowned. "Don't mind that father of yours. He's been neglecting me, he said I sick a lot and he couldn't bear it any longer. He told me I should be taking care of myself." Alhaja replied Aishat. "Dad?" Aishat was shocked. "Yes, Moni said she has called him that I'm here, he just snubbed her and hasn't showed up." She added. "But why is Dad this way? When did he turn out to be this?" Aishat asked wondering. "He's still your father, show him love. I've not told you this just because I want you to hate him, I've told you because I want you to know he has changed and so you can speak to him. "Mum, don't worry, I won't hate him but I'm just going to teach him it's not right to handle a woman roughly." She replied her mother. "Aishat! I know the kind of daughter I have, don't believe have badly to your father.." Alhaja cautioned her. "Alright mum." Her mother laid down slowly again to take a rest. ****** ♥MONDAY MORNING. HAKEEM AND HIS FRIENDS friend got dressed up for their place of work, they all looked good in their suites as they stepped into their cars and drove to the office. As Hakeem stepped into the company, the Secretary came around with the letter of resignation that the accountant left. She explained to him that the accountant left the letter and hadn't showed up. Hakeem wondered why the lady would have left the company just like that. At least, she should have gotten him informed about the idea of leaving the company. "Alright." He dismissed the Secretary and opened the laptop before him. It was another week, he remembered he had to call Azeezat, at least to continue his pretense. If he tried to call her continuously, she might believe and give him quick response. He had been thinking on how he'd make the fake relationship known to Aishat to make her sad. He picked up hie phone and called Azeezat. He greeted her and wished her a happy day and week ahead. Just then, his mind thought on what he could do. He smiled and opened his whatsapp application. He saved Azeezat's display picture and mixed her picture with his own. At least, Azeezat wasn't his friend on Facebook, she might not know he did what he wished to do. He uploaded the picture he mixed and grinned. He made sure he tagged Aishat so she would see the picture as soon as she did log in. Though deep in him, he still loved her. Aishat on the other hand had gotten to her place of work too. She had started working on the contract that was awarded to THE BEST COMPANY recently when her phone beeped. She checked and saw a Facebook notification message. "Hakeem tagged me with a picture?" She wondered and quickly clicked on it. She waited patiently as the phone loaded the image and showed Hakeem and Azeezat. She flung the phone against the wall angrily. |

PART TWO. Isn't this Raymond? Cynthia was bug eyed as she couldn't take her eyes off him. "Ray!" She shouted the name and glimpsed at Maria. "Do you know him?" Maria enquired, also looking surprised. "Sure, em... Raymond say something." She walked closer, her heartbeat had increased and she was looking happy within herself. Raymond was just staring at her. He couldn't remember her from anywhere. "Who are you please?" He asked politely. Cynthia halted. Her eyes popped more open as she felt embarrassed. "Raymond!" She called his name again and exhaled. "Cynthia, there's more to this issue, more." Maria walked up to her and pulled her in. ******** "So how do I trust you?" The Doctor asked the impatient friends. "Sir, we are real.." Ayomide said as he tried to bring out his mobile phone and showed him the group picture they took. He showed him Raymond's contact on his phone, BBM and Whatsapp. The Doctor smiled. He called on the nurse on duty to bring Raymomd's card so he would copy the address and phone number on it for them. As soon as he gave them, they rushed up again. Ayomide had started calling the mobile number from the spot they were given. He was able to reach Maria. "Please, I'm Raymond's friend and I have been searching for him but he's nowhere to be found." He explained. "We came to Faith Hospital, the Doctor gave us the address to your place and the mobile numbers." He replied the question she asked on the other end. "Alright, we are on the way there." He ended the call. →→→→ "Please tell me what is happening." Cynthia tapped Maria She dropped her mobile phone after the call. "Cynthia, how do you know that guy?" Maria enquired. "He's the manager of Daddy's company, the company that I manage." She replied breathing fastly. "I met him in an accident on that road that leads to the polythecnic of Ede. The road where people fetch water from the wife of a soldier there." She replied. "You don't mean this... What time?" She sat properly, getting more interested. "Very late in the night. But, don't be embarrassed because he said he didn't know you. He now has em.. Retro.. I don't know the name but he has Amnesia now." She told her looking sad. "Oh!" Cynthia hit her hand on the table. "God, what's the meaning of this?" She sat down, looking so unhappy. "But Cynthia, why is your own concern this much?" Maria stared at her. "You'll get to know soon. Can I speak to him?" She asked. "Sure, you can also assist in bringing back his memory." She beamed and petted her. "Help bring him into the room here." She told Maria. ←←←←← Raymond's friends had been enquiring about the Street In the address they were given. The knew nowhere in Osun State, if not for the true love between them all, some friends couldn't have done all they've been doing. After the long drive, they got to Laoye Street. They traced the houses till they got to the fifth house, as it was written down in the address. Ismail parked at the front of the gate and they all came down. "This must be the place." Ismail said as he knocked at the gate. This time, Maria was taking Raymond in to meet Cynthia. She turned back and told Raymond she'd be right back. She ran toward the gate swiftly. Precious was in her room, cleaning the place up. Though Maria was scared byt opened the gate for the four friends. He let them enter and gave them seats as she ran upstairs to get Raymond. She took him to where Cynthia was and tlld Cynthia to follow them because some four guys were asking of Raymond as his friends. "They should be his friends.." Cynthia uttered and followed her as she walked beside Raymond, glancing at him frequently. "Raymond!" The four guys chorused his name as they stood, all surprised. ♥♥♥♥ |
EPISODE SEVEN. AISHAT AND TOMI knocked at the gate and were glimpsing at each other, wondering if the gate would be opened unto them. They spent few seconds at the gate before Hastrup came to get the gate. He opened the gate and let them in. At first, he didn't want Aishat to come in but the look on her face and that of Tomi made him let her come in. "I'll blast her today." He had thought as he locked up the gate and waited by it. "What can I do for you?" He enquired as he leaned against the gate looking teed-off. "We came to see... to see Hakeem." They both chorused. "Hakeem? The one you pushed into the pool?" Hastrup framed up, speaking as if he knew it. "It wasn't deliberate, where's he?" Aishat asked looking angry. Hastrup chuckled and clapped his hands together. "You're a muslim and I'm sure you must be a practicing muslim. Why is it that pride is your own best friend?" He stood on his own. "Hastrup or... Where's Hakeem? I don't have time for this!" Aishat hissed. Tomi pinched her softly, trying to tell her to be gentle. "We came for peace, to sort things out. Hastrup please how's Hakeem now? Can we see him?" Tomi interfered. "Better person.. If this Aishat or what's her name has killed him do you think you guys will be like this? We met Hakeem almost dead and she's here talking like... you better don't make me loose my temper!" "If not for Hakeem, see who's talking to me in this manner.." Aishat hissed again. Hakeem faced Tomisin. "Better person, as I was saying before the cockroach interrupted. He's now better, alamdulillāh that they didn't kill him." Hastrup eyed Aishat. "Rubbish..." Aishat hissed again. "Aishat!" Tomisin gazed at her. "Thanks Hastrup, can we see him?" Tomisin asked. "It's because of you, if not because of you, would I let this killer in?" Hastrup said and headed to the shed with them. ******* Hassan walked into Azeezat's room after he had been told to come in. The two had left the presence of their parents after the discussion and Azeezat walked into her room and was playing a game on the laptop. "Can I help you? Hassan." She asked without taking her eyes off the laptop. "Sister, who's the guy?" He smiled and sat on the bed beside her. Hassan was a troublesome brother to Azeezat, he was dark and jovial. He was in his final year in University of Lagos where he was studying Architecture. Azeezat chuckled and paused the Zuma Deluxe game she was playing. "Hassan, what is your own business?" Hassan laughed. "Azeezat! You better tell me now and let me know. You know Fatima is already married.." he grinned, imitating his father. "That's you and your Dad's business. I'm going to get married as at when due." She replied and continued playing her game. "But for real, why did you reject Tesleem?" He enquired. "He's a bad guy, you know. He doesn't observe his prayers, he wouldn't come to mosque, he wouldn't pay zakat and many more that I can't mention, how do you expect me to marry such a person?" "But sis, do you know the guy still loves you? He came here.." he stopped abruptly and smiled. "What for? When?" She paused the game again. "When you went out with your friend, he came and dad met him. That was why he remembered him again." "What's his problem? Haven't I told him not to come here again? I was wondering too, how come dad remembered him that quick?" She hissed dryly. "All the same, be careful." He smiled and left her room. +++****++++ Hakeem sat down, he was smiling when he noticed that Aishat and Tomi were coming. He hissed and glimpsed at Uthman. "Hakeem how are you now?" Tomi asked as she approached him. "Thank you, I'm better." He said. "Sorry Hakeem." Aishat said. Hakeem gave Aishat a scary look. He hissed and stood up. "Who let her in?" 'It seems Hakeem is now getting back to his normal senses.." Hastrup smiled. "How do you mean Hakeem?" Aishat frowned. "Please leave." Hakeem walked her out. 'This is the real Hakeem.' Hastrup raised his thumbs up. |

SIX. MARIA beamed as she discussed with Precious about her cousin- Cynthia that would come and visit her. “Hope the room has been cleaned?” She asked Precious smiling. “Why asking me? You better go and check it out yourself.” She replied. “Feel at home again, Raymond, the house is yours.” Maria smiled and walked in. “Thanks so much.” He replied her bowing. ****** Donald sat down on the plastic chair as he awaited his two friends. He had bought drinks for himself and friends, Francis had called to tell him he and Philip were almost at the restaurant where they had agreed to meet. They finally got there as Donald was about calling them again to ask of where they were. “Hey guys.” He smiled shook them. “Donald the lover boy..” Philip grinned and shook him. The two guys sat down and picked up the drinks on the table. They had known it was meant for them already, they were free and jovial to one another. “How did the meeting go?” Francis asked Donald. “It was on my favour but the girl still… she still doesn’t like me.” He said. “You think so or you feel so?” Philip asked as he took a sip of drink. “Guys, jokes apart. I know it, what should I do, I like this babe, you know!” He clapped his hands together and smiled. “Lover boy!” Philip grinned and shook him again. “See, this is a simple issue, no one is goint to tell you the reality other than us here.” Francis pointed to himself and Philip concluded then continued. “She’s just playing hard-to-get, eventually after your marriage, you’ll see that she’s going to fall in love with you.” He winked at Donald. Donald exhaled deply and smiled. “Thanks buddy, I know you guys are only the ones that can wash this depression on mine down.” He chuckled and shook them. “What would you like to eat?” He enqueired and called on the waiter. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ “Sister, what else should I pack?” Kate asked Cynthia. “Thank you very much Kate, I guess this is alright.” She replied her with a sexy smile. She had packed everything that she’d need for her journey to Osun State. “But sis, what of dad’s company?” Kate enquired. “What’s my own busniess with a company? The compnay should hold herself, I have to struggle for my future before foming back to it.” She smiled. “Anyways, are you going to leave for Ede early?” “Sure, I wish to leave early.” She replied and stood up. ♡♡♡ ♡ Ayomide walked out of the bathroom into the room where they lodged. He had a towel around his neck and looked tired as he approached his friends. “Guys, what do we do next, I’m tired for today..” He said and sat down by the edge of the bed. “Honestly, I’m really fed up! We don’t even know the hospital he was taken to..” Ismail sighed. Lawrence glimpsed at Ismail and laid on the floor. “We have to keep searching, we just have to..” He uttered. “Guys, let’s go back to the hospitals we went to today and show them his photograph, I guess something is going to be done..” Ayomide suggested. “Nice idea guy!” Paul smiled and rested his back. They were all tired. ******* The following day. With the help of Cynthia’s friends, she left the house as early as possible for Osun State. She had called Maria, her cousin that she was already on her way again and Maria told her she was welcome. She sped off and kept thinking of Raymond, wondering where he could be. If Raymond was still around, even if her father was ready to disturb her to the end, she would endure and stick to him but now, without him she fely incomplete. God, wherever Raymond is, just help him amd give him sound health. If he was kidnapped, let him be realeased soon so that I can set my eyes on him again. Uphold him for me…. ******** Raymond’s friend started their ultimate search again that morning. They were determined that without gettimg Raymond, they wouldn’t leave Ede. They started visiting various hospitals again until they got to the hospital he was discharged from. They walked in and accessed the nurses at the reception. They enquired for Raymond as Ismail brought out his mobile phone and showed the nurse his picture. The nurse recognized him instantly. She couldn’t tell them the actual place where he was. How could she know if they were kidnappers or hired assassins sent to eliminate his life. “He’s not here.” The nurse said and hit the ball pen she was bolding on the file beside her. “He should be here, yoh acted as if you recognized him, please don’t do this us, recognize him..” Ayomide begged her. He could read it that she recognized him at firat sight. “Don’t let me lie to you, I know him, but you have to go and see the Doctor before anything can be done.” She told them. Ayomide grinned at his friends. He thought they’ve found him. “Where’s the Doctor’s office?” Had quickly asked The nurse informed the other nurse on duty that she’d be right back as she led them to the Doctor’s office. ******** Cynthia finally got to Ede, it had been long she visited the state so she couldn’t really figure out where her house was, amy longer. She called Maria and told her to come and pick her up because she would get lost. Maria enquired where she was and promised she’d come and meet her inatantly. She told Precious that Cynthia had arrived into Ede and she’d be right back. She rushed out of the house with her car and drove to where Cynthia said she was. Both hugged happily as they were hlad to see each other again after years. Maria drove ahead as Cynthia followed her till they got to her place. Maria hooted twice before Precious came to get the gate. As she drove in, Precious welcomed her happily and helped her with her box. Raymomd had also woken, Precious had been telling him to stop sweeping but he refused. He was sweeping the living room when Cynthia walked in. “Welcome,” he said and stood up, just for his eyeballs to collide with that of Cynthia. …continues tomorrow morning…. EPISODE SIX. HAKEEM had no help, there was no one around that could help him out of the pool and he didn't know how to swim either. In no time, he had his asthmatic attack as he continued drowning. ******* "I wasn't at the reach of my phone, I'd have picked up your calls." Aminat said to Hastrup as he sat beside her. Hastrup calmed down, knowing it wasn't because she was angry that didn't make her pick up his call, he put on a smile and asked her a question. "What did Dad say about my dad? What have I done and Alhaji T.Bello?" "He was still angry till I also left his place angrily. He didn't tell me and Alhaja didn't reply me either." She replied sighing. "If they don't reply, what I'll do is to ask my Dad what wrong he has done, because I don't know..." he exhaled deeply. "Don't worry Hastrup, I believe all is well, Insha Allah." She smiled. Hastrup also smiled, "I believe too." ******* UTHMAN walked back in as Aishat left. As he drove out, he remembered he had to pick the voice recorder in the house, it might be useful in proving to Shukurat that he was innocent of the charge. Derin was a desperate lady who had asked Uthman out and told him about her love for him. Though, she was Shukurat's best friend but had told Uthman she'd pay anything to get him to herself. After Uthman's strong refusal, she planned the ladies who lied against him so as to destroy the relationship between him and Shukurat. "Only God knows what this idiot came to do here.." Uthman watched Aishat as she drove off. He walked in and went inside his room to search for the recorder. He rushed down the stairs and went to the pool to ask Hakeem what Aishat came for and saw he was struggling to save himself. Hakeem was already drowning, he threw away the recorder he was holding and jumped into the pool. He helped him out of the pool after minutes, Hakeem was already having his attack then. He knew he wouldn't be able to tell where his inhaler was, he rose from the spot amd rushed in. He checked the living room thoroughly but didn't find the inhaler. Uthman was already sweating, he returned back and met Hakeem rolling on the floor, the attack was getting him. He searched his pocket but his inhaler wasn't there. He remembered he could check his car and rushed to his car. He found the inhaler in the safe of the car and rushed back. He used it on him and carried him away from the pool. He was already wet likewise, his purse and mobile phone were already wet as he didn't even remember to remove them before jumping into the pool. ****** AISHAT drove into the compound and walked into the house blue in the face. She met Tomisin at the same spot she left her and sat. She didn't even bother talking to her as she brought out her phone and started browsing through it. Tomisin raised her head and peeked at her. She grinned and showed her face properly. "You've gone there to cause trouble right?" "Tomisin, please don't disturb my life, what the hell is your problem?" She hissed. "I have no problem, you should check yourself out because you are the one who have a whole lot of problems. Pride has nothing it will offer you, anger has nothing to add to you, get this girl! There's no guy that can condone all the rubbish you've been performing with him, why on earth are you always neglecting right things!" She chided her. "If It was to be you, what would you have done? He hugged a lady before me, he has no respect for me his lady. I don't like that kind of person, to hell with him!" She hissed again as she dropped her mobile phone and gave Tomisin a scary look as usual. "You are just... I don't know! When on earth do you wish to use your brain? When do you want to grow up to use your senses? What is your problem!" Tomi was getting angrier. "Watch your mouth Tomisin, don't add to my anger! What's your... you should even pack and leave my house." She walked in angrily and left Tomisin in the living room. 'I should even leave your house? Aishat..' Tomisin stood slowly and walked in. ****** Hakeem was getting better after he had been rescued. Uthman never knew the attack could be suppressed like that because he had never seen him drown. 'Could this be Aishat?' He kept wondering. Hakeem would never talk of swimming not to talk of practising it. Thank God he came back to get the recorder, if he hadn't returned his friend's corpse might be met just floating on the pool. ****** Aishat had cooled down, she walked toward Tomisin's room and saw her packing her things. She was slack-jawed, she didn't know Tomi would also take the step of packing her belongings as she had told her. "Tomi." She called her name softly. Tomi didn't answer her, she kept removing her clothes from the wardrobe and packing them together in her traveling box. Aishat was forced to walk to her and held her by her shoulder. "Don't tell me you're going for real." "Please oh, Aishat, don't disturb me." She pushed her hand away. "I'm really sorry, jokes apart." She seemed more serious. Tomisin dropped the shirt she was holding and stared at Aishat continuously. "Aishat." She called her name and didn't take her eyes off her. "I'm serious, Tomi." She said sadly. "What did you do to Hakeem when you went there?" She enquired. "Nothing, I just pushed him away. I pushed him into the pool." She replied slowly. "You pushed him into the pool of water? Have you forgotten he is an asthmatic patient?" Tomisin was shocked. Aishat's head sparked. "That's true." She was bug eyed as her heart started beating widly. "Hope his friends know about it?" She asked. "I don't think there's anyone at home.." she said and rushed out of the room. Tomisin also changed her dress and both rushed out of the house. ♥♥♥♥♥ Hakeem's breathing had already changed. He had started breathing well, unlike before that he was trapped. He opened his eyes and saw Uthman beside him. Uthman was removing the battery of his phone, the phone had already took in enough water. He wanted to go and dry it when he saw that Hakeem had opened his eyes. "How are you now?" He asked him. Hakeem nodded, telling him he was feeling better. He couldn't speak so much because he was just getting better. Uthman decided to save his questions till Hakeem would be able to answer him well. Not quite long after, Hastrup drove in. The gate was still wide open, who cared about the security that time? Hakeem was the priority. Hastrup wondered why the gate was wide open, he hoped something bad wasn't happening. 'Has Uthman gone somewhere before?' He asked within himself because it wasn't the place he left his car that he met it. He went back and got the gate locked up. Uthman had noticed too that Hastrup was back. Hastrup took a walk to the swimming pool and met the two under the shed there. "What happened? Why did you swim?" All he could see was enough to tell that Hakeem must have swam. "I don't even know, Hastrup. It was some minutes after you left that Derin called me.." he stopped abruptly. "Did you take the recorder we told you to?" He enquired. "I was driving out when Aishat drove in, she asked after him and I said he was here. I was going when i remembered the recorder and came back, then met him already drowning." He explained. "I'm sure it was that Aishat that did this, has she forgottem his state of health?" Hastrup got angry and felt Hakeem's pulse. "What is wrong with this Aishat or what's the name? You know I've always said it that I hope that lady won't kill Hakeem.." He was indignant. "Don't conclude yet, how sure are you that she was the one that caused it?" Uthman questioned. "See, it's glaring! Hakeem had never tried swimming and I'm sure he wouldn't have done it in our absence." "How are you now? Hakeem." Uthman asked him. "Better." He replied softly. ****** Azeezat and her brother- Hassan were seated before her parents in the living room. Azeezat told them about Moyo's visit. "She has grown bigger again.." she smiled as she told them. "So she couldn't wait for me." Her mother smiled. "She said she wanted to go and meet her guy or something." She grinned. "Your friend went to meet her guy? When is she going to get married?" Her father asked her. "Dad, I don't think it's going to be long any longer." She beamed. "And who's the guy in your own life? You know I've always told you ladies are like flowers.." Her mother addressed. Her beam changed to a grin. "Mum! Don't worry, very soon." "See, I don't want to hear those words again, your friends, Fatima, Latifat and many more has gotten married, Fatima is even about to be a mother. Why is yours different? You won't be in my hiuse forever, you know." Her father told her, looking more serious than usual. "Dad, you are taking this issue personal. This Fatima you're talking about got married to her father's friend's son, it was very easy for her. I have to look well." She said. "Hmmn... Look well." Hassan teased her, laughing. "Hasn't it been easy for you? Why did you refuse Tesleem?" He qustioned her. "Dad... don't worry I'll bring the guy soon." She was frustrated, if she had known, she wouldn't have started the discussion. 'All the same, thank God I have Hakeem now..' She thought and grinned. |
