★EPISODE FIVE★

What is this man saying? What introduction?  "What introduction? Dad." She questioned as she stared at her father angrily.

"You heard me right, didn't you?" He hissed.

"I guess it's high time we left here for the couple.." Donald's father grinned as he stood up and faced Daniel.

"Sure, that was what I was about doing." He grinned mischievously and followed Donald's father, both excused the newly matched couple.

Not long after their departure, she stood angrily and carried her bag. "Where are you off to? I guess we were left here to have nice time, sit and let's celebrate." Donald said.

Cynthia halted and turned back, giving him a scary look. Donald took his face away and smiled. He stood up and placed his right hand on her shoulder. Cynthia pushed his hand away and faced him properly. "What is the meaning of this rubbish? Why on earth did you touch me?" She hissed aloud and left the compound.

Donald heaved a sigh and sat down.

♡♡♡♡♡♡

Precious and Maria left the hospital that night to take a rest. They had been informed by the Doctor that Raymond would be discharged the following day. They left as early as they could because they waited to receive the outcome of the tests the Doctor carried out on him.

Maria drove off, she was very tired. "Why don't you let us go and visit Frank to collect your purse and phone?" Precious asked.

"Yeah, that's true." She smiled and headed there.

♥♥♥♥♥

Cynthia stepped into the living room and sat, exhaling deeply. "Wasn't easy." She said and dropped her handbag on the floor.

"How far? Have you seen him?" Paulina asked.

"No, couldn't even contact his friends." She replied.

"Sorry, all is well." Aliyah said and cuddled her.

"Dad even called me today.." she stopped abruptly.

"What again? I just hope it's not Donald." Evelyn uttered.

"Exactly! It was Donald. Imagine Dad telling me I'm going to have my introduction done next week Saturday." She said angrily.

"What?" Paulina voiced out while others laughed.

"This is not a funny matter. I just don't know why things are going thia way, it's annoying, not funny!" She exclaimed.

"Take it easy.. Next week? To Donald?" Evelyn chuckled.

"That's not possible now, you own yourself and you life! Alhaji can't tell me that, when he's not the one who will go and live with me in the guy's house." Aliyah hissed.

"All the same, bring a guy wih a thin trouser and think he's going to accept him as his son in-law." Esther smiled.

"That's not the point now, the point is getting Raymond." She stood up. "I'm really hungry." She said as she approached the dinning set.

"There's bread in the oven and you can use anything of your choice to take it." Paulina replied her.

"Alright, thanks." She smiled as she headed in to take her bath.

*******

Finally, the Youth Coppers that were sold the phone got to the guys that sold the phone to them. Raymond's friends had planned they wouldn't take any rubbish from anyone as they got there.

They enquired where they got the phone but after some minutes, they spoke the truth that it was gotten from a car that had an accident. Ray's friends were scared, was Raymond involved in the accident?

They begged the guys to take them to where the accident happened.

*******

The following day.

Cynthia rushed out of the house for the office. She had almost forgotten she had a meeting with her one of her clients. She was still not in the mood of going to he office but she had to leave because the meeting was an important one.

She left for the company and had the meeting with the clients. After the meeting, something dropped into her mind that she should check Raymond's file tp know his house address.

She did that and copied down the address. It was not even far from her own house. She met no one at home as she got there. It was there she received Kate's call that she had gotten to her place.

Thank God her house wasn't far from there, she rushed down to meet her sister.

*******

Maria and Precious walked into the hospital to pick Raymond up. It was the day he'd be discharged. They paid the bills that were left and walked to the car.

Raymond was already better. "What's your name?" Maria asked Raymond.

"Name.." Raymond repeated and started thinking. He couldn't remember anything.

"Alright, don't worry." Maria smiled and opened the door for him to enter into the car. "Where are we off to?" Precious asked her quietly.

"My place." She replied and hopped into the car. "Don't you think checking out the accident scene again might bring back his memory?" She asked her.

"That's true.." She smiled and drove off.

*******

Raymond's friend slept in Ede, Osun State. They had seen that his car was involved in an accident and didn't know what to do. They lodged in a hotel where they slept and had been visiting the accident scene frequently until an idea dropped into Ayomide's mind.

"He had an accident,  don't you guys thinking searching for him in hospitals nearby is going to make us located him?"

"That's true, instead of parading this place since yesterday night." Ismail supported him.

"So how do we go about it? Which hospital do we know here?" Lawrence asked.

"We are going to keep asking." Ayomide replied and entered into the car.

********

Cynthia hugged her sister and sat down. "How did you gain entrance?" She asked curiously as she took off her shoes.

"Didn't I tell you I did the duplicate when..."

"Yeah!" Cynthia recollected. "So how are you?" She asked, though still looked worried.

    "I'm good." Kate smiled.

"Can you believe what Dad called me for, last night?" Cynthia asked Kate.

"What?" Kate sat down, eager to know.

"He said I'll be having my introduction done next week." She informed her.

"Introduction? With who?" Kate was as well shockeded.

    "Who else?" She hissed.

"But why is Dad like this? This was the exact thing he did to brother Franklin, why does he like imposing and matchmaking! What of brother Raymond?" She asked.

"He's missing. What do you think brought me home as early as this? If you got here for your holiday that isn't going to move me. I've been searching for him." She said and explained what happened to her.

"This is bad! So nice of him." Kate felt bad.

"So, I'm still going out soon, at least to know how far." She told her.

    "Alright Sis." She smiled.

♥♥♥♥♥♥

Just after Raymond's friends left the accident scene, Maria got there with Raymond. They all stepped down from the car and walked towards the car. "Do you know this car?" Maria asked Raymond.

Raymond stared at the car continuously, trying to remember something but nothing came through. "No." He later gave up the thought.

Maria was getting frustrated. Amnesia wasn't a good thing to happen to someone, she thought and opened the driver's door of the car. She searched the car until she got to the safe and saw a new blue diary. "Do you know this?" She asked as she rose it up to him.

It was a gift from Cynthia after the birrhday. He stared at it, he still couldn't recollect it.

Maria sighed and walked forward.  "Let's go." She said as she opened the diary and saw APRIL GUYS AND CYNTHIA, written boldly. As soon as he entered into the car, she asked him who Cynthia was, and he raised his head. "Cynthia... Cynthia..." he kept calling the name as he racked his brain.

******

Raymond's friends had been searching for him in various hospitals but hadn't located the real hospital he was taken to. They were really friend indeed to him.

After two hours of searching for him, they returned back to the hotel they lodged.

*******

"Sister, what are you going to do concerning this Donald's marriage of a thing?" Kate asked her sister.

"I wish to run away. I want to go to a place where no one will suspect." She told her sister.

"Then we have to go together because they might trace you to me and you know Dad."

"What of my friends?" She smiled.

"And, where's that place that you think it is secured where you can go to?" She asked.

"I wish to visit Maria, our cousin in Ede." She told her.

"Maria.." Kate smiled on hearing her name.

"Yes, he won't even know I'm in Ede, would he?" She smiled faintly.

"That's the best idea sis, carry on." She smiled and both hugged.

"But when are you going to Ede now?" Kate asked her.

"Tomorrow should be the best day." She replied.

Maria was Cynthia's cousin that had been in Ede because her father's businesses were established there. Her father was economical, he knew there were not many companies in Ede which would lead to low competition, that was why he moved to Ede with his family.

♥♥♥♥♥

"Home sweet home..." Precious smiled as she lead the way in.

She stood by the door to lock it up after Maria and Raymond had entered. "This is my house, feel free." Maria smiled.

"Thanks." Ray bowed and sat down. He was still pondering on the name, Cynthia. Just after, Precious called Maria in to speak with her.

"Do you think what we are doing won't later be a crime?"

"Crime? Did we cause the accident?" She questioned as she brought put her phone.

"My mind is not just at rest. And, harbouring a guy inside this house, don't you think its dangerous? Guys are dangerous, why don't you let him go and stay with your brother?"

"No, what is wrong with him is amnesia and we are the only ones that can brint back his memory as quick as possible because there's no family member around. I don't think he is dangerous, and if he plays a funny game, his end might be disastrous." She smiled.

"You are right." She replied smiling.

"I just hope this fool hasn't spoilt my phone." She started pressing buttons on the phone.

Just an hour after, she received Cynthia's call that she'd visit her the following day to spend a month with her. She explained everything her uncle; Cynthia's Dad wanted her to do and Maria was happy Cynthia would come to her place again.

EPISODE FIVE.

Hakeem was also shocked as he saw her talking to a guy but could control himself when he got there. He was still feeling pains on his wounded head but hadn't told the curious Azeezat what went wrong with his head. His heart began beating faster as he saw Malik before his lady. Several weird thoughts ran through his mind in micro seconds as he helped Azeezat with a chair to sit down.

He had been smiling to disguise his surprise and fear as she sat also, right beside Aishat's seat. "Why are we really here?" Azeezat asked him.

"We came to talk about something special to my life." He smiled.

He didn't even act as if he knows me, is he trying to threaten me or what? Wait, what is the important thing important to him that he wishes to discuss with this pauper? And, is this not the lady that even caused the problem? She has no etiquette of islam, hugging guys... Aishat was glimpsing at Hakeem and Azeezat frequently as she listened carefully to what they were saying.

Something important? Does he want to confess his love to me or what? Azeezat was all ears as she stared at Hakeem.

Why is she acting this way? Expecting me to come and meet her for apology? Who's the guy before her? Has she been cheating? Hakeem's mind was no longer at peace.

"What's the thing important to your life?" Azeezat asked eagerly. "You've still not answered me of what I've been asking, what's wrong with your head? You weren't like this the other day.." she added stretching her hand to touch the wound.

"It's someone that almost destroyed my life." He grinned as he managed to turn his eyeballs to the left to know if Aishat was watching.

A guy who has no courtesy for ladies is meant to have a well destroyed life..

"Destroyed your life? How?" Azeezat was getting curious.

"Never mind, I said something earlier about this life of my mine." He smiled again.

AISHAT'S CORNER.

"Aishat, when are you going to give me a favourable reply?" Malik enquired from her.

Favourable reply? What is the favourable reply all about? Wait.... I hope this guy.... No, it can't be so. Hakeem listened to the discussion between Malik and Aishat as he discussed with Azeezat.

"I'm going to keep thinking about it, I will give you a reply hopefully next week friday, Insha Allah." Aishat replied him.

She's gonna reply him? What is this all about? Hakeem was getting impatient.

"Thanks so much dear, I'll expect your reply." Malik smiled.

    HAKEEM.

"So what is it that you need from me?" Azeezat asked him.

"Hmmn... Azeezat, I've been pondering on something, it's a thing that is important to my life so much that my father always tell me to get.." he stopped abruptly and turned his head to see if Aishat was watching.

Their eyeballs collided as he turned his head, both quickly turned their heads away, 'she must be listening..' Hakeem smiled.

What on earth does he want to say, propose? You are really dead then... Aishat thought as she sat tight, ready to know what he would say next.

"I really like you and I want our friendship to be more serious." He said calmly with a smile.

Azeezat blushed as she kept her head low. "Alamdulillāh." She muttered as she smiled. There was silence for some seconds as Aishat became sullen to Malik after she had overheard the discussion. She became quizzical and calm after she heard his confession. "He must be joking." She continued thinking as she played with her hair trying to behave as if she didn't even have an inch of feeling for what he was doing.

"Aishat!" Malik called her name to bring her back to the discussion
He had been talking to himself all the while, "what's wrong?" He asked her looking surprised at her.

"Nothing, was cogitating on what you told me, I have to leave now." She smiled.

Malik smiled. "Alright." He stood as well and both walked out.

E pain am! Hakeem smiled as he saw her left. Deep in him, he was afraid his relationship with her might clash and Azeezat didn't know all they've been doing was just a drama, she didn't even notice Aishat was present there, if she had known, she might have suspected.

"I just hope this won't backfire, who's this guy trailing her around?" He muttered and glanced at Azeezat. "That's why I brought you here, what would you like to eat?" He asked her.

With this proposal of yours, I'm full. she had thought and nodded, refusing the offer.

"Alright, we should get going and I'm expecting a nice reply from you as soon as possible." He smiled and stood up.

*******

To make the plan look real, Hakeem went ahead to Azeezat's place and dropped her off. He promised he'd come and check on her after his work tomorrow, believing all he had done was enough to convince Azeezat so she would play along without knowing she was just an instrument to be used.

He had to return back to General- Gas road and drove slowly on the road leading to Iyana-Church. He was going to his house which was in Peace and Progress Estate in Bada. The mosque he did use wasn't far from his house, it was just a ten minute drive to the mosque and he did visit there frequently, especially every Friday for prayer and sermon.

He drove into the Estate and waved at the security men by the gate of the exit into the Estate. His house was the fourth, red avenue in the Estate. He hooted for some seconds before Uthman came to get the gate.

Hastrup didn't make a move because of his sad mood, was it all over between him and Aminat? He had been thinking all the while and had been heart-sick since he was embarrassed.

He had also been dialing Aminat's mobile number but she didn't pick up the calls.

Hakeem walked in with Uthman. Uthman had been questioning him about the wound on his head but he had kept mute because he'd have to say it again once Hastrup asked him. Another thing was what he'd even say, would he say it was Aishat again? Anyways, a plan had already started and he believed it would change her.

"Answer me now!" Uthman held on to Hakeem as they entered. "It was Aishat."

Hastrup raised up his head. "That name again! You know I said she's going to kill you eventually." Hastrup said, trying his best to shake off the sadness.

"Mr Hastrup, you better seek Astaghfirallāh (an islamic way of asking for forgiveness from God.)

"See Hakeem, this is not an issue of seeking forgiveness, watch out for this lady! Though she might be famous and rich, you know your state of health, I've always told you!"

"Does it mean hitting a glass cup on my forehead is going to lead to an asthmatic attack?" He chuckled and sat down beside him.

"I don't know, just be careful." Hastrup hissed and picked up his phone, he wanted to call Aminat again.

"And, why are you guys like this? What happened today?" Hakeem asked.

There was a period of short silence before Hastrup started explaining all that happened to him.

★★★★★★

Aishat walked in indignantly. She flung her bag on the sofa and sat down, filled with anger. Tomisin didn't even give her a look as she entered, she stared at the laptop before her and ignored Aishat's presence. She hated what she performed before she left the house, what was her concern about her arrival?

"Tomisin!" She called her name at once, she was already excruciating.

"And what can I do to help you?" Tomisin raised her head lightly and faced the laptop again.

"Why are you doing like this too?" She hissed and dropped her mobile phone. She had thought Hakeem would call to apologize before she got home but she was wrong. She also loved him, it was just her behaviour.

"That question sounded somehow, have you been dealt with out there?" She asked, this time not raising up her head any longer.

"Imagine Hakeem, he came with that useless lady to Fidelity Palace and was asking her out beside me.." she said.

That got Tomisin's attention. She smiled and dropped the laptop on her laps and focused on Aishat. "And?" She laughed.

"I'm sure that was a drama.." she added.

"And?" Tomisin repeated and continued laughing.

"It seemed it was real again, I don't even know but Hakeem must not do this, it had better be a mere threat..." she hissed.

"And?" Tomisin repeated, she aimed at getting her impatient and more annoyed.

"What is your problem!" She vociferated.

"And why have you been annoying!" Tomisin clamored as her laughter turned to a frown suddenly.

"I'm really not in the mood to be joking, I'm talking about him and you're just repeating 'and', isn't it annoying?" She hissed aloud.

"You hit a glass cup on his head and left, leaving him in pains. Now, why are you telling me this?" She glowered.

"I thought you're going to calm me down and make me assured Hakeem was joking but here you are..." she glared and stood up, walking in angrily.

"But I thought you never loved this guy, why are you acting this way?" Tomisin grinned.

"Idiot, I'm going to deal with you as well.." Aishat muttered as she walked in.

She started thinking on what to do, the best thing to do was just to visit Hakeem and have a thorough fight with him. She got in to change her dress, it was already past 4pm.

♥♥♥♥♥

"You guys shouldn't take this matters personal, I'm sure something nice is going to happen at the end." Hakeem smiled as he assured his friends.

"What bothers me is just the reason why Aminat hasn't been picking up her call, maybe her father has told her a story that would make her turn against me.."

"Hastrup, forget that and lets go and have a cool breeze at the swimming pool." Hakeem stood up.

One thing he hated most was swimming. Hakeem really hated swimming because of his asthmatic condition, but, he loved watching people swimming and having cool breeze there. One thing that could make his friends relax was to swim so their worries would reduce.

While swimming, he'd be serving them wines and would sit under the shed behind the house, watching them and having a fresh air.

Hastrup stood as well and hit Uthman. "Let's go and change to our trunks."

Uthman stood reluctantly and followed him in. Hakeem searched his pocket and found out his phone wasn't on him. It should be in the car, he thought and headed to the swimming pool to wait for his friends.

Aishat had already called his mobile phone six times but he was unable to pick up the call. This had made Aishat more desperate and umbrageous as she drove on, heading to his place to check if he had gotten home because Fidelity Palace wouldn't be a nice place for her to shout at Hakeem.

Hakeem walked to the back of the house with his friends, he believed they'd have nice time and refresh themselves.

As they headed there, Hastrup's phone rang and it was Aminat
She told him to meet him at 'Village Kitchen', an eatery so they could discuss. Hastrup was very delighted, he rushed back into the house and got dressed. He picked up his phone and called Aminat again to know the branch of Village Kitchen where she was and she told him it was the Mokola branch.

Within a twinkle of an eye, he left the house for the eatery.

Uthmam was about diving into the pool when his phone also rang. Hakeem called him and told him it was Derinsola that was calling him.

"Derin?" He squeezed his face and walked to collect the mobile phone. Derin was Shukurat- Uthman's girlfriend's friend. "I need you right now because I have a solution to the problem between you and my friend." Derin told him.

"Where?" He asked, he didn't really trust her.

"My place, you know here don't you?" Derin ended the call.

"She don tell you to come abi?" Hakeem asked him.

"Sure, that foolish girl." He hissed and walked in to dress up.

He was driving out when Aishat drove into the compound. She asked Uthman if Hakeem was at home and Uthman told her Hakeem was at the swimmimg pool.

She drove in and parked. Hakeem searched his pocket again and remembered his phone wasn't with him, that was his only companion while his friends were away. His inhaler wasn't with him likewise, he must have dropped everything inside the car.

He was standing near the pool and enjoying the cool breeze when Aishat got there. His friends had already warned him that he had to play the game well and behave like a strong guy and not a coward before her so that she could change for real.

"Hakeem!" He heard the soft voice.

He turned around and was still near the pool. His heart almost skipped a beat as he saw his lady approaching him. He pulled himself together again, he had to act like it was real for that time.

"What was the rubbish you came there to perform with me, you think I'm going to be afraid?" She walked closer.

"Aishat, I'm sure you heard all I discussed with that princess, see what you turned me to?" He touched his wound lightly.

"What have I turned you to? You know I'm not easy, you know!" She hissed.

"Either you're easy or not, I'm into that girl and I like a lady with cool head." He smiled.

Aishat was mad. "So I'm not with a cool head right?" She moved closer angrily and pushed him inside the pool. She turned back and hissed, leaving the compound.

Hakeem couldn't swim, he was an asthmatic patient and wasn't with his inhaler.

He started drowning and there was no one at home that could help, Aishat drove out of the house and sped off.

EPISODE FOUR.

Hakeem picked up his mobile phone and dialed Azeezat's mobile number. He glimpsed at his sister and smiled, hoping the plan would work out. But in real sense, Hakeem wouldn't give up on Aishat. He had already fallen so deep into the pit that a day without Aishat wasn't a complete day. He had hoped the plan wouldn't backfire.

Azeezat who had been discussing with Moyo about Hakeem chortled immediately she saw his name as the caller. She raised her phone and showed Moyo that it was Hakeem.

Moyo also smiled and winked as she awaited her to pick up the call. Azeezat picked up the call and made up a different voice, making it cooler and sexier. "Azeezat, it's Hakeem." She heard from the other end.

"I know dear, how are you?" She winked at Moyo and smiled.

"I'm good. Please I don't know if you are less busy, can you join me at Aroma Foods?" He enquired.

"Aroma.. along Iwo road right?" She enquired.

    "Sure, there." Hakeem replied.

"Alright, give me some minutes, I'll be there." She replied and stood up.

She ended the call and winked at her friend again. "He just called, he is sure not a bastard.." she sat back.

"Where are you now going to?" Moyo enquired.

"He said I should come and meet him at Aroma Foods, I think I should go." She replied smiling.

"You still love the guy that much?" She asked, dropping the glass cup of juice.

"Ah! Hakeem..." She drawled the name and remembered some of the things that happened in the past. "Anyways, you should go quickly, I have to go and check on my boo likewise." She winked and stood up.

"So, you're leaving already?" She grinned as she asked intentionally. "Won't I leave when you wanna go and meet Hakeem."

"Anyways, wait and let me dress up so we can leave together." She stood and rushed in while Moyo sat back.

*******

Hakeem had ordered for fried rice for his sister and himself. He was eating and gisting his sister about Aishat when he remembered he ought to ask her what had bothered him earlier. "Who told you about Aishat and I?"

"It was your friend, Hastrup." She beamed.

"I knew it! Anyways, its Azeezat we're waiting for and I pray we meet Aishat there." He said casually as he took a spoon of rice.

"She should be there and If possible you should even kiss Azeezat before her." She grinned.

"Halimat! Taqwa (fear Allah) I can't do that and you know that I'm not that kind of guy and besides it's just a game and I love Aishat." He replied.

"See brother, don't show her love oh, don't call her, no chatting! Leave her to her own, she'll be the one coming back to beg you." Halimat instructed.

"But I don't think this will be easy because I really love her." He dropped his spoon and gazed at her for a while.

"Bro Hakeem, you had better let's do this and get it into her skull. I don't know why you even love her.."

"Halimat stop! I don't just like those words. I don't only like her but really love her. This is not an issue of criticizing her but trying to change her."

   "Don't take it personal."

Just then, Azeezat walked in slowly, looking around to locate where Hakeem was. She finally saw him and walked up to him with a smile. "Hakeem!" She sat on the empty chair beside him and greeted Halimat.

"You've grown girl!" Hakeem grinned as he stared at her.

"You've grown boy!" She imitated him and chuckled.

"Nice to meet you again, but I have to take you somewhere." He stood and picked his phone.

"Where again? Is this not... em... Halimat?" She pointed to Halimat and smiled.

    "Yeah," Halimat replied and grinned.

"Wao! You've also grown, how fast time flies..." she pulled her cheeks and stood up.

    "Thanks sister." Halimat smiled.

"We should leave now because time isn't our friend." Hakeem uttered as he held his car ket with his right hand.

"Alright, aren't you going with us?" Azeezat asked Halimat.

"Yeah, I don't think I'm needed." She smiled.

    "Let's go.." Hakeem walked out.

HASTRUP AND UTHMAN got back home at the same time, both looked frustrated and confused. Hastrup couldn't help himself thinking about what his father could have done to Aminat's that could have caused that hatred. He had been trying to link events together but none clicked.

He knew his father, he wasn't a bad man that could have done something bad, he was the one that did preach to him about doing bad things. He could vivdly remember the verse of the Quran his father told him to memorize, Say to My servants that they should (only) say those things that are best: for Satan doth sow dissensions among them: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy. (The Noble Quran,
17:53)

"Uthman, how far now?" He shook him.

"See guy, I no dey at all, I was finished by Shukurat today, only God knows who told her about the pregnancy issue." He replied.

"That mean not only you was finished, I was also finished by Aminat's father. I don't know what I've done but he sent me away." Hastrup clapped his hands together.

"This is too bad, I really know nothing about this useless allegation!" Uthman hissed.

    FIDELITY PALACE.

Aishat was sitting before Malik with smiles on her face as Hakeem walked in. He had told Azeezat that he wished to hold her hand as they walked in though it might be wrong, religiously.

That was what Azeezat had always wished too since she met him again. She waz smiling, who cared about religion anyways?

Both walked in as planned, Azeezat had been feeling glad that lines were falling in plesant places for her as they walked in. Hakeem had already sighted Aishat's car outside so he was glad mission would be fulfilled successfully. Azeezat kept glancing at Hakeem, glad Hakeem had started liking her again.

Hakeem looked around, until he saw Aishat before Malik smiling broadly and Malik was also laughing with her. He felt like disappearing but could sight an empty set beside Aishat's set and pulled Azeezat along with him.

As Aishat was smiling, she rose her head to see those walking toward them and saw Hakeem and Azeezat. She lost control as she saw them holding hands, was she dreaming or was it a reality?

EPISODE THREE.

AZEEZAT was with her best friend- Moyo in her parents' house. The house was a duplex, which had the exterior painted off-white and the interior orange. The compound was interlocked as well as the living room tiled with a neat rug at the centre of the living room.

The arc that lead to the dinning was beautifully decorated and the dinning set had a long table with wooden supports and a glassy surface on it.

Her parents had gone for a birthday party of a close friend while she and her brother- Hassan were the only ones at home with Moyo. She had brought her juice and a neat glass cup to serve her as she sat beside her. "Thank God you finally came today, after years." She said, grinning.

"Azeezat, it's not like that," she stopped for some seconds before she continued. "I've been busy with the company." She concluded with a beam. "Don't lie against the company, you should know that I always visit you but you rarely do." She smiled and handed her the cup of juice.

"All the same, I'm sorry." Her beam changed to a grin while collecting the cup of juice.

"I saw Hakeem." She sat properly as she changed the subject of discussion.

"Really?" Moyo gave a sharp glance.

"Sure, he was looking so nice." She grinned.

"Hmmn... I just hope there's no string attached.." Moyo winked.

"But I liked him on seeing him. You know now, those days.." She grinned and winked.

"Yes oh, when the V.P will always shout Hakeem and Azeezat." She grinned too as she took another sip from the cup.

"But I saw him with a lady, it's possible she is his... hmmn.." she laughed aloud.

"Maybe that was his girlfriend, but did she look familiar?" Moyo enquired.

"Aishat... the popular.." she couldn't complete the statement before Moyo completed it for her. "The director of 'the best company'.."

"Sure." Azeezat replied.

"Wao, the guy has caught a big fish oh.." Moyo smiled.

*****

HAKEEM stood up with his hand on his head, he had started bleeding. Tomisin also rushed up to him as her heartbeat increased rapidly. Aishat was also surprised at her action but the pride in her wouldn't let her bow for anyone.

She picked up her phone that was ringing and answered the call. It was one of the guys that did disturb her about a relationship that called. The guy was Malik, a young and handsome guy who also had his company and immensely rich.

She had always snubbed him but decided to pick up the call as a mean of distracting herself from Hakeem and Tomisin. "Fidelity? I'm coming right now." She responded to Malik and picked up her purse as she walked out briskly without even giving him a second look.

"Thanks Tomi, I really appreciate you." Hakeem smiled as Tomisin handed her a roll of tissue paper to wipe the blood and went ahead to get disinfectants and methylated spirit.

She helped him dress up the wound and plastered it. Tomisin then handed his car key to him and apologized on Aishat's behalf.

*****

Hakeem sighed as he entered into his car. What would he tell his friends at home? He touched the plastered wound gently and exhaled deeply. His mind struck his sister- Halimat and he picked up his mobile phone. "Meet me in Aroma Foods." He said and ended the call right away.

He kicked the car and looked through the window, Aishat had already gone out with one of her four cars. He marched on the accelerator and dashed out of the building.

He was driving along Iwo-road, not far from a market called Academy. The road wasn't so busy like it normally was, maybe because it was Sunday.

He got to Aroma Foods and parked. He glimpsed at the right side mirror and saw a clear relfection of a container where Aroma packaged breads and shawarmma were displayed. He waited for his sister before he finally came down from the car and walked into the eatery with her.

He helped her out with a chair and allowed her sit before he could sit, that was one of those things learnt from his lady- Aishat.

"I said what's wrong with your head?" Halimat repeated as she sat down. She had asked him immediately she sighted him earlier.

"She just hit a glass cup on my head." He replied as he kept his head low because he didn't know what he'd likely hear from her.

"Aishat?" Halimat clapped her hands together as she looked around the eatery to know if she wasn't causing a scene.

"What I called you here for is to tell you the fact, you're my blood and you should be able to advise me well because my friends don't even like her to an inch.." he held his breath and continued. "She's a lady I love so much but I think it's because of her fame and affluence she had been behaving like that. I wish to change her." He said.

"To change who? Why on earth did she hit you with a glass cup?" Halimat asked.

"I was begging her to give me my car key but she refused, I was still begging her before she hit me with the glass cup. I met Azeezat and the lady hugged me before her, that caused the conflict oh."

"Azeezat..." Halimat repeated, trying to remember who she was.

"She was my mate in secondary school that people did call my wife because we were close." He reminded her.

"Ooh! I saw her on Facebook sometime ago." She smiled.

"You know the lady is free and jovial, immediately she saw me, she hugged me, she even made sure we exchanged mobile numbers before she let me go."

"That's cool, so she seized your car because of that?" Halimat was surprised.

"Exactly, but that's not the point. How do I change her?"

"Brother, I have an idea." Halimat smiled.

"Idea.." Hakeem repeated as he listened up.

*******

Uthman sat in Shukurat's living room as he patiently waited for her to come out of her room to check on him.

He had spent twenty minutes on seat already, waiting for her to come out to meet him and he had been giving the wall clock a long look from time-to-time until she walked out.

Shukurat was his first love, since they were still im their adolescent stages. He had noticed she had not been picking his call since Saturday evening till that time he was in his presence.

Shukurat was a Godly and a serious lady with a sexy stature and curves. She had a long hair and a set of white teeth that was charming. "Can I help you?" She questioned Uthman as she sat on another seat.

Uthman took his eyes off the television set that had been keeping him company since she hadn't came out of the room. "Why are you like this Shukurat?" He shifted forward and kept his eyes on her.

"Why am I what?" She questioned him umbrageously.

"Why have you been avoiding me? You also kept me here for almost thirty minutes, why?" He frowned.

"See, Uthman or what is your name? I don't have your time." She hissed and faced the T.V set.

"If I've done anything wrong, you should tell me and I'm going to apologize and change."

"You've done many things wrong by donating pregnancies to the world." She growled.

"What? Who told... no, how.. em.." he stuttered.

"You're shocked right? I'm not ready to be a wife to a man with many wives." She uttered and stood up. "If you're ready to leave, lock the door." She walked in.

Uthman was still in shock, who could have told her? Why could everything be happening to him?

******

Hakeem smiled as his sister told him what to do. She told him to call Azeezat and both should be behaving like a couple before Aishat to make her feel she was nothing. "Nice idea." He grinned.

"So when do you start?" Halimat asked her brother with a smile.

"Aishat is at Fidelity, to meet a someone. If I can get Azeezat now, it's going to be easier." He grinned.

"You said you exchanged mobile number right? Call her to come here but don't tell her you guys will go before Aishat to act because if it was me, I wouldn't answer."

"Alright, noted." He smiled.
