Temitope drove to the gate and hooted. The gate keeper rushed out to open the gate, he drove in. Tolulope and Olajumoke were standing at the balcony, they were happy seeing him come in. They rushed downstairs on seeing him come in.

Tolulope and Olajumoke came out of the house. Temitope got down of the car and rushed to his parents. He prostrated and hugged them tightly. His mother pecked him as he was hugging his father also.

'Why were you useless? You couldn't drive?' Olajumoke faced Jesse who stood by the mirror of the car.

'No ma. I told....' He trembled.

'Yeah mum. I insisted on driving home.' Temitope smiled as he cuddled his parents in.

Jesse went back to meet his able gate keeper and started gisting.

***

Oluwatomisin got herself prepared. She went to Tofunmi's house to greet her for that morning to while away her boring time. Both were in Tofunmi's room gisting when Tomisin's phone rang.

It was Temitope that was calling her to inform her about his arrival. She was very happy to hear that he had arrived. She didn't give a second thought when she left and headed to his place. She had missed him so much.

...

Tonia had gone to her station that time. It was just remaining two weeks for her to end her service. She was posted to Ibadan to serve, she wasn't around by that time. Tomisin called Temitope on getting to the entrance of the gate.

He got out of the house in a three-quater knicker and a palm slippers. He was looking more handsome. "Open the gate for the visitor." Temitope instructed Folu, the gate keeper.

'Alright sir.' He replied and opened the gate. Temitope was standing some distance from the gate, he rushed to her on seeing her. Both hugged each other, Tomisin was really happy seeing Temitope.

'Come inside damsel.' Temitope smiled and drew her in.

Tolulope and Olajumoke were not in then, Jesse had taken them out, it was only Temitope and Fola that had been at home.

Temitope and Tomisin started discussions immediately. They were in the living room, both sat together and started talking.

'There are lots of gists for you damsel.' Temitope winked and smiled.

'Same here, and it seems you just heard this damsel of a word sha.' She smiled to him back.

'That's part of the gist. That's how they address females over there. I'm so happy seeing you.' Temitope smiled.

'You aren't as happy as I am.' Tomisin replied, stretching her hand to pick the magazine on the centre table.

'Now, wait. I'll be right back.' Temitope stood up and walked inside the room.

The car hooted outside and Folu opened the gate for Jesse to drive in. Tolulope and Olajumoke had arrived, they walked inside and met Tomisin.

'You again?' Olajumoke uttered and dropped her handbag.

Temitope came down and was also viewing the cardboards. He got to where Jesse was and saw his name neatly written with a blue marker. He smiled. The cardboard was already covering Jesse's face, he wasn't even looking towards that direction, he was looking at a wife who came to get her husband from the airport when they were hugging. "These people just have wahala!" He commented.

Temitope tapped him by his shoulder, Jesse still didn't know, he was already engulfed with the romanticism of the couples. Temitope wondered who the man was, he brought down the cardboard, then Jesse noticed. He faced the front at once, he recognized him on seeing his face.

'Mr Temitope?' He smiled bowing.

'Yeah, are you...' He was trying to think of the adjective he could use to qualify him as a noun.

'Yes, I'm oga's driver, I've come to pick you sir.' He said smiling.

'So you recognize me this much?' He wondered.

Jesse dipped his left hand into his chest pocket and brought out the passport photograph and stretched it to him. "Here!" He smiled.

'You just like smiling sha... Now, where did you get this?' Temitope laughed.

'Oga gave me the passport for easy recognition.' He nodded.

'Alright, where is the...' He was saying.

'The car? Over there.' Jesse interrupted and pointed to the direction where he parked the car.

'Okay, let's go.' Temitope said.

'We can't. You'll give me the passport photograph and the briefcases with you.' Jesse replied showing concern.

'Urgh, passport? Its mine not yours so you have nothing to do with it.' He replied.

Temitope was carrying a briefcase on his left hand and had a big traveling box on his right hand.

'This is a traveling box.' Temitope described, lifting his right hand. "This is the briefcase." He added, lifting the left hand.

"So, they are different, and I'm not gonna let you carry any of them." He concluded.

'No sir, just let me be of help.' He said stretching his hand forward.

'Wait, don't use sir for me. As I look at you, you are somehow even older than me, so, please, don't use "sir" for me.' He smiled.

'Alright, the briefcase and traveling bag. Let me have them.'

'No.' He replied.

They headed to where the car was parked, Jesse opened the booth for him to put his belongings. He already opened the driver's door and the passenger's. He entered into the car and sat on the driver's seat. Temitope closed the booth and came to him.

'Come down, I'm the one driving.' He said, holding the door handle and staring at Jesse.

Jesse surprisingly came down. 'No, you can't. That will be the end of my job if you drive me home.' He said.

'No, read my lips. No! Let me have the key.' He requested, with his right hand forward.

Jesse reluctantly gave him the car key and went to the other side of the car to sit. Temitope gave a short smile and entered into the car. He switched on the ignition to check the time on the dashboard. He closed the door and started the engine.

He sped off home, never forgot the was to the house.

Some weeks later...

Tonia got her laptop ready, she uploaded Tomisin's picture on her laptop and cooked up her story, as the young novel writer and an achiever that everyone knew then. She then discussed how she was raped and spread it round the facebook. It was on the night of 3rd of January the new year, the night Temitope ironed. his wonderful shirts and was already preparing for his flight the next morning overseas to continue with his studies.

The news was spread across the city and beyond, that she was raped by some guys. Temitope didn't know until he left.

It was early in the morning, Temitope got dressed and Tolulope. Temitope carried his box down into the car and got himself ready for the trip, Tonia was still fast asleep then, Olajumoke and Tolulope came out of the house, Olajumoke was already crying that she would miss her son. At last they left the house.

Tomisin also resumed to school that day, it was a day of joy for her not knowing it would turn to another thing. She got to school and met many people surrounding a phone. "What's going on here?" She asked herself as she was driving off she saw Tofunmi there also. She halted and got out of the car and went there. Immediately she was seen, she was disgraced among and she was made jest of. She was still surprise at this incident until she saw the phone and the story line cooked up.

She rushed into her car and was accompanied by Tofunmi. She sped off to her hostel in tears.

...

Temitope got to England six hours after and was picked up from the airport by his father's friend. He was happy getting there, all he needed had been provided for him, a newly prepared phone and the line used there, a laptop and an i-pad also, it was then he discovered the news on facebook.

A year later....

Tolulope and Olajumoke had gotten a driver and a gate keeper. It was exactly on the 21st of December, Temitope ended his masters and had promised to return back through the next available flight for the night. He got everything available and the adorable golden chain he made for himself and Tomisin.

The plane took off exactly 12:00 am on the 22nd of December, he was happy and eager to get back to Nigeria. He had been longing to see the face of his parents and Tomisin in particular. This time, Tomisin was already on another break, it was just a year left for her which was meant for hospital training.

Jesse, the newly employed driver had been told he would be the one to go and get him from the airport, although he hasn't seen him before but had seen his passport photograph. He had gotten a white piece of cardboard which he wrote his name on as he was told.

He got to the airport by 5:15am, he was neatly dressed inside the Honda Baby boy car. He was looking like a rich young man in another man's car. He patiently waited there and rested his back, adjusting the driver's seat backward. It was there he was when he slept off, he was woken by the announcement that was on. The next plane would land in the next 20 minutes.

He adjusted the chair back to the normal position, he adjusted his neatly iron collar and turned to the back to pick the white cardboard he kept there. He picked the cardboard and opened it again. He smiled, I will see this guy today, he thought in himself and got down. He looked around, the security lights were on, he sighted where other people parked their cars, he opened the door and was still looking around. An alarm then came from the dashboard like a security alarm and the inner car light was on.

He pointed to a suitable place he saw that he could park the car and entered into the car, he drove slowly to the place and made a U-turn so that it would be easy for him whenever he would leave the parking space. "15 minutes more." He heard from where he was parking. He got down with the cardboard and adjusted his shirt, he smiled again and walked outside, where he saw a lot of people awaiting to collect their persons.
He walked slowly there and patiently waited behind a very slim woman. He stared at the woman for a very long time before he was tapped gently by a young guy beside him. "Is there any problem?" The man asked.

He smiled and shook his head, "nothing" he replied. 'It seems this woman has HIV/AIDS or how could she have been as thin as this?' He thought and smiled. "10 minutes more." He heard and looked up to the man in a black suite standing there with a microphone-like instrument. "Oyinbos are crazy." He said silently and laughed.

At last, the plane landed safely and passengers got out safely. Jesse had been peeping to see the people coming out of the plane.
Finally Temitope got out of the plane, in a well designed suit, the foolish driver already raised the cardboard up then so as to get him immediately he sees it.

Peter was a tall and fair guy. Also brilliant and taciturn, he loved eating so much and hated pride and lies. He was fredrick's best friend in the room because he was somehow more holy than the other friends left.

Dammy, he was refered to as the Boss. He was a complete womanizer, he loved girls and had interest in them like shi. A fair and tall guy, handsome and had kept afro haircut. He loved wearing pencil jeans and a white top. He was just a dullard that never heed to advice from people.

Faith, a dark and handsome young guy with a white and beautiful set of teeth. He had pink lips and was a neat guy. He was a talkative and also loved food.

Tade was a dark guy also, not very handsome and do have "obama" haircut. He was shorter than all of them and also loved girls. He and Dammy did finish the business about girls together.

***

Beatrice and Gloria were eventually discharged, the king bought the wheel chair she started using. Gloria was fine, although had several wounds on her body. The King bought them an apartment to be living and commanded the that their marriage should be broken.

Not so long after the King did all this, David heard, he then brought his concubine that had been telling him to beat his wife to death so she would be able to pack in and be the proper wife in and made her his new wife.

The King started catering for their well-being and sent Beatrice to school and furthered her education. He got them a driver and a car that would be driving her to school everyday and dropping her back home. She was lucky.

The King had asked on what he should do to David, maybe banish him or kill him or maybe he should call the commissioner of police because of him. Gloria still pleaded on hid behalf, she pleaded that the King should just leave him and his new family and let peace reign.

Beatrice was just in the living room, on her wheel chair weeping. Her mother, Gloria just came out and met her in that condition.

'What is it again Bibi, why are you just weeping? You know you are the one that will be petting me if it was me, so tell me, why are thou weeping?' She asked, standing by her front.

'Mum, I just thought of everything, I just had a remembrance of how that man pushed me to the mirror and made me someone who can't bath by herself again, someone who can't walk around as she wishes, someone who can't behave like others!' She cried.

'You ought to be thanking God, just a little thing that is even not up to this happened to them but they are dead. Who are we to question God. You don't know if standing up will make you spend a short life on earth.

"IF THIS IS WHAT MARRIAGE ENTAILS, I'LL NEVER MARRY" she uttered

Temitope and Tomisin sat down and discussed the issue thoroughly. Tomisin also started crying, she was surprised to have heard all that. She promised to ask her father whenever he comes back.

Not quite long Temitope left the place, he met Seun driving back home. He halted and greeted him from the car. Seun thought of him till he got home. "It really seems this boy loves my daughter." He nodded in assurance of his thought. "That will be pretty fine." He continued thinking till he got home.

He entered into the living room and met Tomisin sobbing. The first thing he thought was if Temitope had done something bad to her. He walked up to her. "What's wrong my daughter?" He asked, showing concern towards her.

'Dad, there is a story I ought to have known that you've not told me.' She uttered.

'Story? What story?' Seun asked thoughtfully.

'What happened between Chief Collins and Chief David? She asked.

'Firstly where did you here this from and the man wasn't Chief David, he was Davies.' He said.

'Let's leave what I heard, who I heard it from and the likes. Dad, tell me the actual fact. What were the correlations that transacted between them. And you'll also shed some light to the issue of OLAJUMOKE & OLUWASEUN. What transpired between them also?' She asked.

Oluwaseun walked down to the living room, slowly and steadily. He stood at the front of the LG plasma television. "You've just touched what's greater than us." He paused slightly.

It all started like this...

""

I just left my secondary school then. I wasn't made any prefect because I was a dullard. My father, Collins was poorer than a church mouse. I wonder why when pupils in primary schools or students in secondary and tertiary institution were and are always taught "as poor as church mouse." That's a lie, they should have changed to "as poor as the Collins" then. We were so poor, my father, mother and myself all lived in a room, some people still take cassava flakes as their food from morning till night. I wish ours was like that also, hardly so we eat once a day. I didn't have many of the textbooks my mates used during our time, but I tried my best to go to school.

It was one fortunate day, my dad was carrying his clear bag as usual with his C.V, searching for employment opportunities when Chief Davies saw him walking by the way and recognized him be cause they were very close friends when they were in school. Father did say it too that he was known to be the best student in the college when he was in school. My father happened to be a close friend of Chief Davies and did teach him subjects of various types well then. He carried my father that day and brushed us up, bought us a house and did different things to us then.

Sooner or later, we became a very intimate family friends. I was a dull guy then as I've said earlier but another thing is that I loved girls then. I was a complete and well known "womanizer" as I was addressed then. This attitude made me fall in love with Olajumoke and wanted to do all sort of rubbish to her, but she was different, as from then, I've hated her so much and had so much distaste in her. She did preach to me then also but I've never listened to her and developed great hatred towards her.

Because of quick money, my father killed her father so as to attain all his wealth and properties. My father also tried to kill Olajumoke but he never succeeded. I still hated her, even though her parents died, I hated her more, I showed no concern.

Not quite long after, my parents were sent out of the world, all my father's properties became hers. I changed for better then and took Favour as my wife when I grew up. We loved each other so much, not knowing she was going to die at your childbirth. I'm now a changed person. The issue of me telling you I fell into the gutters. It was Olajumoke that pushed me there when I was begging her.

Tomisin and her father were just crying. Seun hugged her and cuddled her. They reconciled for good.

He was there till evening. The King had been calling his phone number but he didn't hear, his mind wasn't there, he later picked it and explained everything to the King who sent ten more guards to the hospital for him. He also promised to visit them in the hospital in person the following day.

Not quite long after, the Doctor came out. "Can I see you in my office?" The doctor raised his index finger.

Daniel rose immediately. "No Doctor, tell me whatever it is here now." He said right in front of him, sweating and panting. He was already stained with blood too.

'This is an office talk.' The Doctor replied.

'Noo! I insist!' He screamed.

'This is a hospital please, you are disturbing other patients.' One of the nurses at the reception said and eyed him.

'It seems you are crazy, I can destroy your life for you now!' He shouted at the nurse.

'Sorry sir, don't please. Alright I'll tell you here.' The Doctor begged, he was also afraid of his anger.

'Alright I'm hearing you.' He replied.

'She won't be able to walk again. Her spinal cord had been disturbed sir.' He said, shivering. He was afraid to tell him, he didn't know if telling him that will cause him death also.

'She won't be able to do what?' Daniel asked, tears dropped from his eyes, he sat down on the floor there still on the same spot weeping.

'Sorry uncle, I'm sorry about that.' The nurse addressed.

'What of my mum?' He asked the Doctor, still weeping.

'Its Doctor Kenneth that is attending to her, just let me go and see how far they are.' The Doctor said and turned back, walking to the ward.

One of the guards outside just came in. He was also looking sad. He stretched his hands forward to draw him up.

'Your highness, stop this. You don't need tears on your face. Believe in God.' He addressed.

Daniel remembered, he had a flash-back of the King, hugging his family. He couldn't control the out-flow of tears from his eyes.

The guards the King sent to him arrived some minutes after. They were eleven, and guarded the hospital. It was then the nurse was reasoning that Daniel would be the guy who's the talk of the town. Everyone had been talking about, about him as the adopted son of the King.

The Doctor came out with Doctor Kenneth, he was also panicking on hearing about Daniel's madness.

'What of my mum?' He quickly stood up.

'She's fine and responding to treatments.' The Doctor replied.

'May I see them?' He requested

"Sure, come with us." Doctor Kenneth moved forward. He followed them to go and see Beatrice.

Fredrick, Peter, Dammy, Faith, Tade and Blessing. They were regarded as "6-cliques" of that university. They were all from rich homes and parents, they've known one another from their childhood.

Fredrick was the only son of Charles Family. Mr Olamide Charles who is his father worked with chevron and in millions of naira. He loosed his mother at his childbirth, he hated pride and loved humility and truthfulness. He had been told by his father and many of his father's friends to attend a starndard university like Oxford university, overseas.

He always refuse different offers and want to pass through fire, so that he would be prudent and economical. He's the most easy-going of the friends and had a little interest in ladies. One of the most brilliant of the guys.

Seun also got to the christmas celebration, Temitope led him in. Seun and Olajumoke saw each other again. Eyes to eyes, it was so hard for him to greet her because of the look on Olajumoke's face. He entered as led by Temitope.

Temitope got out of the house immediately after leading him in. He went straight to Olajumoke angrily, immediately she also saw him coming, she already knew she was into it.

'Mum!' He called sharply.

'Ehnehn, can I help you. You want more food?' She stared at him, looking as if she cared.

'Food? I haven't told you I'm hungry so listen up to me.' He replied.

'Is it me you are talking to like that? Because of an ordinary lady?' She shouted.

'I'm sorry mum, but you know what you did was wrong!' He exclaimed.

'It is today I'll tell you the history you want to know. Follow me.' She pulled him.

Temitope walked behind her sluggishly, still looking very angry. She took him to the garden, where she sent Tomisin away the other time.

'Have your sit there.' She pointed to the chair at the front, while she sat down also.

'What you don't know is more than times hundred of what you know.' She uttered.

'Mum, I'm hearing you, let's get down to the business.' He replied.

'Tomisin's father, whose name is Seun. The father of Seun, who is chief Collins murdered my father, Davies.' She paused.

'You don't mean this. How sure are you?'

The story all went this way... She explained it all to him and started weeping when it got to a point. She was so sad and unhappy. Temitope stood up and cuddled her.

'Mum, I'm sorry. Never knew this is the matter. But I have something to add to it.' He replied.

'What son?' She wiped her tears.

'That is more than twenty years ago, I want you to have a spirit of forgiveness.' He uttered.

'Hmmn son. You can't understand all the pains and stress I passed through then. You know less of it, it was only your father, Tonia's mother and Tonia's father later stood by me also. That's why I've been insisting on Tonia.

'Mum, I want you to forgive their family. I'm sure they would have learnt their lesson too.' He replied.

'Alright, I have forgiven them. You can be her friend but its Tonia you must marry.' She uttered.

TONIA?

******

Temitope left the house and went straight to meet Tomisin as he had promised her. Not even what his mother said changed his mind from her.

The gate keeper opened the gate for him. He entered and knocked at the living room door, Tomisin quickly opened the door for him.

"What kept you long?' She asked smiling.

'Kept me long?' He said.

'Yes now.' She replied.

'I thought you said I shouldn't come before?' He smiled as he entered, he turned back, Tomisin was locking the door then.

Tomisin laughed. "Sure I must say that as a good girl.' She replied, still smiling.

'Nawa oo..' He laughed also.

'So what really kept you long?' She asked again, following him behind.

'Actually, it was mum. She explained some things to me.' He replied.

WHAT? She quickly asked

The King stood up after the whole incidence, the chieves were still wondering and others. "There is something to this thing this boy is holding." Chief Collins said again.

Daniel tried to move towards them, they all ran outside. The Queen and the Princess were standing by the side of the wall, both were looking at the King and Daniel, Ruth started shivering. She was more than surprised.

'This, I've never seen in my entire life. For this, its this your God we'll all be serving in this Kingdom.' The king said and shook hid head, he was also amazed.

''Thank you, your highness.' Daniel prostrated. He was very happy to have heard that from the King.

'Your highness, are you al.... Alri... A.. Alright?' The Queen stammered.

The King turned his face to the back to see them where she and her daughter were."I'm more than alright. I don't know, immediately he started blowing that mouth organ, it was just like something entered into me and changed my entire body system." He replied.

'Mum let's go and meet him.' Ruth said with a low voice.

Daniel walked towards them. "There's nothing to fear about, as a matter of fact, no one here is as surprised and amazed as I am. Just come with me, the king is now fine.' Daniel smiled to them.

The queen smiled back and walked slowly to the King, Princess was still there, afraid and shivering. The King also smiled and walked towards the Queen, he gave her a slight hug then moved to Ruth and cuddled her. "I'm now fine." He uttered.

Daniel stood behind smiling, looking at the happy family, as the king hugged his family members. "I wish my family can be united like this." Daniel thought in him and started weeping. He went out before anyone would notice, he saw that the chieves were nowhere to be found. He went outside to the guards to ask of them. He was told they've ran away.

***

Beatrice, Daniel's sister was just at the backyard of the house, she was washing the plates they used to eat when she heard noise from inside. The incident has started again as it used to. She ran inside, seeing his father terribly beating Gloria. He rushed there to save her, she was pushed away by the useless father, she fell on the standing mirror and started bleeding.

Daniel was already going home to see his family, at least he won't return back that day. Only for him to get there and meet the scene he met. He was provoked. He rushed in and went straight to that room. The guards that followed him couldn't stop him as they tried to. He carried a stool from the sitting room along with him and hit it on David's head.

Gloria stood up immediately, weeping, she rushed to Beatrice. Daniel just noticed her there when his mum rushed to meet her where her father pushed her to. He rushed there also and carried her out of the pool of blood. Gloria was bleeding also. He carried Bibi and gave it to one of the guards that entered, trying to stop him to take outside. He dragged his mum also to let them go.

'I can't just go like that, your father is also bleeding. Let's help him.' She pleaded.

'Mum, I've never spoken harshly to you before, don't let this be the first! Let's go!' He shouted at her and dragged her outside. They left the door to the house wide opened. He rushed them to the hospital.

He sat with Beatrice at the back, he was staring at her and crying out so much. She was already unconscious and her cloth soaked with blood. He couldn't help himself to stop the tears, he was just crying.

They got to the hospital, he carried Beatrice himself, rushed into the hospital, he declined the offers of the two guards to carry her for him. She was rushed into the emergency room and Gloria was admitted.

Everything was rosy in Tolulope's compound on the celebration of his christmas day. There were lot of servers there serving the food, Temitope had called Tomisin that she must be there. Bola had gotten her dress on and on her way to Temitope's house to celebrate with him.

Not so long after the call, Tomisin arrived looking extremely gorgeous. She was just attractive, she had called Temitope to come and pick her outside, she didn't want to enter alone. Temitope walked out and was smiling. He took her inside and later to the reserved place he left for both of the at the garden.

He had already gotten a small tent and two beautiful chairs and a table for them to sit on. Tomisin was looking extremely beautiful and dressed in a Godly-mannered way. She sat down while Temitope rushed in to get all what he had prepared for them.

He brought out wines and foods of different types for her. She couldn't stop laughing because what he reserved for her was too much. Daniel also sat with her and both started discussing. Tonia was just sweating, although, the servers were the ones serving she came to sit and have a fresh air when she saw the two laughing and gisting. She walked back stealthily, straight to meet Olajumoke to inform her.

Tolulope had already called Seun to come and celebrate with him, although it wasn't that he supported their children's relationship but wished to have him as a friend and being his life saver. He called Temitope at once to go and get him from his house. He excused himself from Tomisin to and get her father.

It was immediately he left, Olajumoke arrived at the garden. She was looking so furious. She shouted up and down.

'What is it you want here!' She shouted

Tomisin stammered, she didn't know what to say. She only said sorry and picked her thing and was took her leave. She parked her car outside, she sped off after this incidence. She got home and met Temitope outside knocking. He was surprised seeing her there. He frowned at her and walked towards her.

'What are you doing here now, I just told you I'll be back soon.' Temitope said.

Tomisin was looking sad and was also frowning. "Mum chased me out." She said sharply.

'Mum? Don't tell me that, you are just using style right? Mum can never know we've been there.' Temitope said moving towards her.

The gate keeper opened the gate to see whao was knocking and saw Temitope and Tomisin talking.

'I'm serious. She came to me, I don't know how she got to know!' Tomisin shouted.

'Madam, should I open a the gate for you?' The man asked.

'Guy! Just go and tell Dad someone is waiting for him!' Tomisin exclaimed.

'I'm sorry dear, never knew. This must be that foolish Tonia!' Tope said angrily.

'So please, don't go home to perform foolishly Temitope. Please! Don't because of me!' Tope begged.

'Don't worry, just get in and call dad, I'll lead him home and come back to stay with you.' He replied.

'Noo! Stay with them, don't bother about me. Who I'm I?' Tomisin said and smiled.

'You just wait and see the madness I'll perform when I get home. He walked to the his car and sat on the bonnet, shaking his car key.

'Please, don't, I beg of you Temitope.' Tomisin said.

The gate keeper opened the gate, Tomisin entered into the car to make a turn, she parked by the way. Seun drove out, Temitope prostrated and greeted him. He responded and Temitope entered into his car and drove slowly.

'Yoive returned?' Seun peeped out of the car and asked Tomisin.

"Yeah dad, I'm done." She replied.

Darasimi woke up to read in the midnight as she planned. She read till morning and got dressed to leave for class. She waited at the Princess' room as usual, hoping for her and her friends to come out then they all should go for that day's lecture.

Princess and her friends came out at last. They stared at her angrily on seeing her. "Can we help you?" Rachael quickly asked.

Darasimi laughed. "You see you these ladies are always funny. Let's go to the lecture room jare, time is going.' She replied.

'It seems you think we're playing with you right? Will you leave this place at once!' Princess shouted.

'It seems these ladies are taking this matter serious.' She thought in herself and left.

'Idiot. She's always looking for a ride!' Bibi laughed.

'Yes oo, imagine that yesterday we didn't take our cars along with us, she wasn't that fine. Husband snatcher!' Princess uttered and they all laughed.

***

The King's illness started. He was shivering and was always in the room throughout. Daniel and Ruth were informed by the princess in the school to come and see. As the illness was going, it seemed it would turn to death for the King. Daniel arrived and got his things from the car booth. He rushed into the King's room to see.

There were many chieves in the room with the King that particular time. Daniel rushed to the King's side and sat.

'Father, what really is wrong. Talk to me.' He was sad and was crying.

'Son, I'll be fine.' He replied.

Ruth entered too with full force. She climbed the bed from the other side.

'Dad, talk to me, is anything the issue?' She asked shaking the King's cloth.

'No, take it easy!' Chief Tunde said.

'Hasn't he been taking to the hospital?' Daniel asked the Queen.

'The Doctor said nothing is wrong with him medically.' Queen replied, also sad.

King smiled at Daniel. Daniel stood up at once and went out of the room to search for his mouth organ. He brought in and started playing "it is well" on it. He was playing it loudly for minutes there.

'Will you stop this noise!' Queen shouted.

Daniel continued and didn't behave as if he heard all what she said. Suddenly, as if it was a miracle, the King started moving his hands and could sit down. It was just like a miracle to them all.

'Is this a miracle or what?' Daniel himself thought.

Ruth for minutes stood and stared at Daniel. Everyone including the Queen wondered on what just happened.

'Wait, how are you my King?' Chief Kolade asked.

'I don't know. I'm now... I'm okay.' The king said wonderfully.

'Wait oo.. What is inside that thing you just brought in?' Chief Collins watched him and the mouth organ closely.

THE STORY BEGINS...

Temitope got to Tomisin's place in no time. He was very fast and rushed there. Bola also took a bike on seeing a bike and was taken to Tomisin's house. Temitope saw Tomisin and hugged each other on seeing themselves.

'Where is Dad?' Temitope asked, looking around in search of him.

'Over there.' Tomisin pointed backwards, Temitope saw him sitting there all alone. 'He's alone?' Temitope worried.

'His friends are already coming, so let me introduce you to my friends that you don't know here too.' Tomisin smiled.

'No, let me go and greet Dad first, your friends can still wait shey?' Temitope winked and walked towards Seun. He was sitting there alone and taking a fruit wine.

Temitope prostrated on seeing him. He walked closer to him more.

'Son! How are you?' Seun laughed to him on seeing his face.

'I'm great Dad. So how I've you been sir?' He bowed and smiled.

'Good dear, I'm sorry I couldn't wish you happy birthday... Eh! Sit down here with me and stop standing up!' He smiled.

'Ah! Sit? Thank you sir.' He bowed and drew out the chair from beneath the table. He bowed again.

'I just don't know, you love bowing right?' Seun wondered.

Temitope laughed out.

'Yes now, you've bowed more than twenty timed here.' He laughed too.

Tomisin was looking at both of them from where she was, she was glad they were talking and happy to see each other. She walked up to them there.

'Dad, are you still not ready to eat?' She asked on getting there.

'What of you Temitope, what do you want to eat?'

Temitope gave her a funny look, she couldn't hold her laughter.

'I'm alright for now.' Temitope uttered.

'Until he's not okay for now, I'll eat mine too.' Seun replied.

'So until he eats you won't?' Tomisin smiled.

Bola arrived. She saw Tomisin and walked towards her. She knelt and greeted Seun, she then hugged Tomisin and smiled.

"Merry christmas." She uttered.

'Urgh, thanks.' She exhaled.

Bola walked up to where she saw their friends. She was smiling.

Tolulope and Olajumoke already got home before Temitope arrived. He was already filled and drove slowly back home around 5 O' clock that day. Tonia opened the gate for him on hearing his car hooting outside. By that time, caterers had been gotten that will bring the prepared food to their house early the next day.

Temitope entered into the living room, walking slowly. Tonia didn't even utter a word to him, she walked in immediately after locking the gate. He met his parents at home. He prostrated to greet them.

'Where are you coming from son?' Olajumoke questioned.

'Today is christmas, I went to greet a friend of mine mum.' He replied.

'A friend? We all know your friends are in Ghana, not here.' Tolu said.

'Not all dad. I went to Tomisin's place.' He replied.

'Yeah! That's what I want to hear, you went there, for what? Don't we have food here?' Olajumoke uttered angrily.

'Who said I went because of food I went because of the love their family has for me and the love I have for them. That's all.' He replied.

'Its nothing sha, its good. Go into your room.' Tolulope uttered.

'Thanks dad. You are the best!' He laughed and entered.

'What's the meaning of that, do you support him being friends with those knid of people?' Olajumoke said.

'Let's forget the past.' Tolulope uttered.
