iykehill:I'm sorry for treating this late. From the Lagos Airport, you'd board a public bus to Sango/Toll Gate. From there, you can either take a commercial cab or bike to Oju-Ore. It is at this Oju-Ore you'd get taxis headed for Owode or Idiroko route directly. |
iykehill:You're most welcome. |
iykehill:Yes there are, in fact, you'd get taxis heading to different West African countries as well, so you're sure to get a taxi to wherever you're headed within the country there. |
StoicAdvisor:Depending on your budget, you can live in the high class area which is called Haie Vive. That is where most of the rich live, so you should get 100-200k monthly apartment there. The cheap areas to live is in Porto-Novo. Regarding agency, I don't know of any but you can make some research online and even on YouTube. There are contents about rentals in Benin Republic there. |
StoicAdvisor:If it's just this, then you'd obviously get something very comfortable in a conducive environment. That's a good budget. |
StoicAdvisor:You mean 100k for apartment alone, or for your monthly expenses plus accommodation? |
iykehill:Sorry for the late response please. You would need to get to Oju-Ore from Jibowu. To make life easier, use Bolt ride from Jibowu to this place because boarding buses with an infant won't be a nice experience. At Oju-Ore, you'd see taxis heading to Owode for about #500 per head. When at Owode, Idiroko is about #200 per head. You'd tell the cab man you want to alight at the border since you need your passports stamped. There is no straight bus from Oju-Ore to Idiroko when I last went there except maybe there is now. You can only get a straight bus back to Sango/Oju-Ore from idiroko, not while going. |
sexymonkey:You're welcome bro |
sande223:1) Your network provider will automatically roam the moment you get closer to the border at idiroko. 2) You'd get more of money changers there. Those that will convert your naira to cefa for you. Banks are more situated at Seme border. |
sexymonkey:You can't get Porto-Novo directly from Owode. You'd have to get to Idiroko first which would cost less than or about #200 from Owode. From Idiroko, you'd then take bike across to Igolo which is #1,000 or #1,500 depending on your bargaining power. It is majorly #1,500 for two people. So from Igolo, you'd see taxis to wherever you intend going within the country there. |
Omoolumo:Don't mind them bro. Those countries are far far better than this country. Na just money I dey gather make I move go ivory coast or benin republic. |

Oyerinde16:I beg to doubt if you are in your right senses. Because if you are, you wouldn't tell me to be inconsiderate and irresponsible when I didn't mention in any part that I took a loan, I only analyzed a scenario, so kindly educate yourself more if you didn't learn properly in school. Another person used you as a case study, you shifted it as well, simply because you know damn well the gravity of how pointless you are. I never insulted you in any part but you called for it. I am literate, and I'm also a thug when need be for people like you. |
Oyerinde16:This guy, I can see you're very sentimental. I have been reading your replies from the very start and I am forced to quote you now. You actually feel defaulting is anyone's life ambition. Would you tell me you have never been in a circumstantial situation before? Life happens to each and everyone, we've all taken short term loans directly or indirectly, consciously or unconsciously. Defaulting doesn't mean one doesn't have a strategic mean of repayment when taking the loan, but life can happen at any damn time. Why don't you just stop this your biased mindset and spill the truth? There's one prayer I would pray for you, that you wouldn't be in a circumstantial situation more than your life. No matter how much you might have and think you may not need loans, inasmuch as you can count the money you have, you are still an average human being in life, and remember, it is very easy to fall down in life, so don't spill words that may come back against you simply because you're failing to understand how life works in the sphere of a man's world. Good day. |
chuddyforlife:Omo bro, I'm also in need of this fr. Maybe I'd have to go to their immigration office to this effect when I visit there soon. It'll just be extra expensive sha because for a non-citizen, they'd definitely want to milk us, but owning their passport isn't an impossibility. With their passport, the percentage to enter Italy, France, Germany and Greece is 85% sure; we can't say the same for our ridiculous naija passport. |
seunny4lif:You fit run am without meeting with immigration sef 3k will get you into Benin Republic (if you don't settle anyone) |
CICONTOP:For a plain English speaking Nigerian there, such individuals would need the help of fellow Nigerians that are residents there to blend in, and it's when you blend in you can know how your dream business will perform. You can do every business that is doable in Nigeria there, so it's all about communication with the natives of Benin Republic. |
Mekudi:You can go through Idiroko border post Just board direct bus from Ojuore at Sango to the border. Then cross to Igolo with bike for about 1k Igolo is in Benin Republic. Once you're at Idiroko, your SIM card will start roaming because you're believed to be inside Benin Republic already. |
Saberry:Like, these guys are damn crazy. Just a single mf day. Everyday as well, one yeye app TRUENAIRA, they message me on WhatsApp everyday with threats. I've made it known to them that inasmuch as they requested for an address while I was applying, I will also only pay back when I get an address of their office, a verified address specifically. I don't fear them again ever since XCREDIT sent derogatory messages to my contacts. My brother wanted to help me pay the 7k then, the idiotic XCREDIT agent was telling my brother that me the loanee should be the one to pay, not him. Naso my brother vex no pay again, since last year. They don't even bother me again because they've certainly written it off as bad debt, and I've made it clear to any app that if any contact of mine receives any ill message about me, they should assume I've paid because I won't pay a penny not in this life or the next. |
Saberry:How long did you default before the weyrey people started their crap? And what app was it? |
Workch:Thank you. You also shouldn't take offense when I tell you you're one of those who haven't seen a border before. |
travelwaka:Even I myself, I plan on moving there finally by the turn of next year by God's grace. Last time I stayed there, I stayed at agblangandan, around Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou. This country ain't worth it and I can't wait for boko haram to take over this country like the talibans in Afghanistan because by then, I'm too certain that the benin republic government will close their borders on us, and it will be too late by then. |
babyfaceafrica:I don't know of a Nigeria under a new president, but as at this current state of the country, Togo and Benin Republic are way better. Their international passports ranks in the world's top 100, the Nigerian passport does not. Today, I also heard PMS (fuel) would cost #300 per litre soon. Is this a country? |
Mainlymanof:That depends on your settlement location there actually. Amenities like water and electricity bills will also be inclusive. |
EmekaA125:You're welcome man At least, put of French, English and yoruba, try understand two of these three when going. |
porthouse7:You're on point Ma'am |
babyfaceafrica:I'm sorry but it is obvious you haven't been there, and it's sad on how people criticize Togo and benin republic because of their names. Those countries are way better than today's Nigeria. Take it or leave it. |
Nwakaibey195:N1 = 1.36 XOF as at this evening |
EmekaA125:They speak English as well |
NewDelhi:No mind them. E get one wey text me for WhatsApp this morning, say make I pay my loan before 4pm or them go do this and that. I ask am maybe him no dey this same country with us or if him neva dey circumstantial situation before. I tell am say, if them send anything, make them forget am, and I dey sure say my contacts no go pay 1 coin. |
ekene101:Ekene101 oh! Him say orangutan Comparing a full grown man to that ugly thing These apps no get joy I swear, na everybody dey rough am with them. |
obiekunie01:Baba you no well oh |
