My guess is you have 2 of those batteries which is 440Ah.

Mercury 1.2 and 2.4kva both come with 20A charger. 440Ah÷20A=22hrs

So you need 22hrs of constant grid power (NEPA) to charge fully.

The charger is simply inadequate for your battery. You can purchase an external charger of something like 60A or better still 80A

440/60 = 7.3hrs or 5.5hrs with an 80A charger.

most calculation doesn't work in real life......if u av experience in solar, inverter battery installation u will know what i mean... lol seriously 60/80amp is a wash also do u think a 200ah ba3 would provide 200amp straight? or yr 60 amp charger will pull accurate 60amp from the grid? lolzzz. how do you account 4 a public supply grid producing 90~120vac which is even fluctuating the voltage?

putting the charger nob to 80-100 reads charging at 18amps. tho my battery is below 100ah

that means if the nob is at highest it would be reading 20 amps

Never noticed it, all I do is just charge or sometimes set the nob to 80-100ah or sometimes higher since my batteries put together is 160ah

Ours is a different model, the smart charger seller has something similar to this, I chose mine cos its metal casing, this one with digital screen is plastic

2v 500ah battery of 6 pieces is approximately 6kw bro. u can only use it with inverter in series which makes 12v at 500 ah..... diz are simple basics of battery configuration.....see bro all diz wiki research doesn't help most time...they will only confuse you. #wekeeplearning

I dont think i mentioned current in my comment neither is it my context. Current in this case relates only to charge capacity of the inverter or external charger.

I will like to be practical, i have only seen inverters of 12v and above.

If samnaija has 2v batteries then he needs a minimum of 6 batteries in series which is exactly the configuration he has.

The matter i stressed is the Amp-hour (Ah) rating of his batteries and the total for the bank. Lets define Ah.

Wikepedia says Ah is a unit of electric charge, equal to the charge transferred by a steady current of one ampere flowing for one hour

Using that, if 1 battery of 2v has a charge capacity of 500Ah as claimed by samnaija, how much is the capacity of 6 batteries connected together? Whether connected in series or parallel, they all get charged by the same charger at the same or almost the same current. Are you saying that all of them cannot store up charge of more than the capacity of 1 battery? If thats the case, whats the point of connecting batteries together, he should have just gotten 1 12v battery.

Every battery holds its charge and contributes to the whole bank. If he really has 6 500Ah batteries connected in series or parallel, his bank capacity is 3000Ah.

Please i may not be an electrical engineer but i know the difference between current (A) and Amp-hr (Ah).

Hmmm... nice one, nice invention here. But i bet you will still need the real one, the real one has more power than yours, apart from pcb u might need to drill a plastic casing for your project. you will need bits of different sizes for different jobs.

for a start, well...your invention will do but for more professional jobs, you will need the real pcb drilling machine, a big 650W drilling machine, a jig saw etc.

..i was able to design my own pcb drill(electric)
materials n cost are;
6v electric motor(#100)
ordinary pen refill(you know how cheap this would be)
4 minutes epoxy(#200)
drill bit i used 1.0mm(#40) i spent less than #400 to build it. i will buy more bits later sha.....will upload picture on a free day.(v.busy at school). I was suprised because it drill pcb really fast n easy.....it very easy to use n handle because of its portability....i power it with USB power supply.

I am just sick and tired of this my innjoo f2. For couple of days now, the tab has refused to come-up or charge and I have tried series of chargers all to no avail. The only thing the tab does while I plug it to the socket with its charger is to be showing BLINKING BATTERY LOGO which I tried all through the night yeterday till this morning and it was still BLINKING! Not even a % charge. The tab is lifeless and the battery is equally non-removeable, thus, is this not alarming? Has anybody experienced these scenarios? Gurus in the house, please, I need urgent help as this tab wanna drain my blood to the very zero level oooo............... This is my whatsapp handle; 07033135972 incase..........!

apparently you are in itel 1701 thread....try pressing volume down and power button together at the same time......it might help your situation.

sir. i was able to get car acid battery today and i was able to etch a pcb board with the hydrogen peroxide i bought at chemist shop......i couldnt believe it worked. i saw d solution changed to green..d same i use to see on youtube videos.......just to let u know sir......#wekeeplearning

hydrogen peroxide in mouth wash is too weak for etching; and yes i mean car battery seller, the acid usually comes in a small plastic jerrycan

hydrogen peroxide sold in the chemicals section of most markets (particularly soap makers)
you can buy sulfuric acid from those who sell car batteries (buy the diluted one)

mix acid to be used in etching of the board

I use hydrogen peroxide + sulfuric acid + water

the higher the concentration the faster the etching, however if concentration is
too high it would damage the board.
