Damm next week will be filled with so many unexpected twist.

Liquidation will be for all the investment and it is safe to say you will receive most part of your initial invested funds. There will be a reduction of two months interest and slightly a little more charges like a few lthousands to reflect the difference in the rate when you initially bought and the rate currently sold to the new investor.

I really appreciate your effort sir; please is it possible for me to convert my funds to dollars and buy treasury bills with dollars

The punishment is that you will kneel down in front of the class. In financial world the words charges/subtraction are rather used.

The charges will depend on how long the investment has been running and selling rate to the next buyer.

Thank you, I appreciate; also I can just liquidate part; perhaps quarter; the investment already run 4 month out of 6; and I need the funds;

Ibadan will be very cool for a young lawyer. Transport and accommodation rate is unbelievably cheap even food. I will rather earn 50k/month in IB than earn 100k in Lagos. Life in IB is not stressful at all .The city is full of life. One can still get a room apartment in the supposed Bodija for 50k(at least I know of Ekiti street and Ladoke Akintola) and self con for 150k. I had my 3-month law school externship in IB between April 16th and July 4th this year, I really enjoyed my stay. Wanted to serve there but I got posted to OGUN (ABEOKUTA) and my redeployment plan fell through. Can't wait to return to IB after my youth service next year, October 15th, 2019 is almost here. Can't wait o. Life in IB is easy and sweet. I don't know of other field but I know law practice in IB makes a lot of sense. My fellow young lawyers here, I recommend IB to you o.
Note : Sorry for focusing too much on law practice and lawyers hustle. Just trying to speak for young lawyers here since no one is doing so currently.
But generally, IB is a very cool city if you have a good job, you should be able to save well and enjoy life.
Don't forget to visit AMALA SKYE at Bodija , if you don't visit that place, you are wrong.

Please give us cost of living in abeokuta, I plan to go there for service

well not myopic to be honest. I travel a lot, not seen any state in nigeria where you have so much people earning decent salaries like lagos. Business can go really big too. It is not a myth, what average businesses are making here cant be compared with that of any other state in nigeria

I agree with you on the business part;
But on the salary aspect, what is important the most is the purchasing power;
Many people are modern slaves in Lagos and they don't know it;

If you earn just 50k and you live in ife, osun state; you would live a very comfortable life compare to your Lagos counterparts.

But unfortunately, things happen more in Lagos; if you want to scale up in life; you have better chances in Lagos (business wise).

I would never want to work as a salary earner in Lagos

Her family has been very accommodating. They have been open to see my mom. My mom however, keeps finding one excuse or another not to go.

The problem here is your mum; she had one year to prepare herself. She does not like your fiancee , you need to fix that, if she is willing to frustrate your marriage to her for no reason, then know there is fire on the mountain. I would never go to war with my mother for no reason ( depending on the type of person your mom is though). She is not contributing a dime infact there is no enough reason here for her to threaten you with curse. You should be wary of her.

Lastly, other people trying to blame your lady are just spitting trash; from what you wrote, you have picked the date over one year. Do you know how disappointing it would be for your woman.

Women are sensitive creatures. This wedding stuffs is mainly for them. She has being with your 3 years mehn; do you know different advice going on in her head. It difficult to process.

Ps: about here disrespect issue; no woman is perfect, you can't eat your cake and have it, as long as she is OK otherwise and she corrects herself.

But if her level of disrespect fears you, you should not marry her;

Politics / Power Vs Money; Which Is Better? by temmy59: 8:54am On Nov 23, 2018
Hello, nairaland mate; I was arguing on the topic of power and money with my neighbors this morning; then I decided to bring topic to the public and hear other people's opinion.

My defense is:

Money comes with power. ( I.e when you have power you would have money)
But
When you have money, it is a 50/50 chance that you would have power; it is not a guarantee;

Power in the context of political power and influence; not spiritual powers please.

While money in the context of ( 100 million naira cash in the bank and about 50 million in asset)

The floor is open .

Thanks.

I live here on the Island, Agungi to be precise. I pay 300k for a Boys Quarter apartment. Very nice, neat and conducive environment. You can look for something similar around here in as much you work on the island. Anyways I don’t the distance between Yaba to the Island but I’m sure you’ll have to face traffic when going home.
This is a very strategic advice; you didn't get value for your money; why spend 25% per annum when you would still face yaba to island stress and transport cost every day.

And bro; is the boys quarters, mini flat or a single room; what is yearly service charge.

Made my first million at 25,doing dropshipping of mobile phones from aliexpress,my biggest hurdle at first was how I could make payments and how i could get lots of clients.

Bro; please can I contact you; dropshiping has being on my 2018 plan top, but getting someone with experience and knowledge has being my biggest challenges.

Let me also use this opportunity to share mine, make my first million when I was 19 from crypto; could have made more, but I was naive; the euphoria took hold of me, and I lost up to $10k to the market.

But you must have your enom account opened, enom account matters to them very much and it is one of the criteria for account verification, if not your account can not be verified. Go to any good cybercafe and you will be able to open your enom account.

If you have namejet verified account then submit your names via their standard worksheet to the businessservices@namejet.com and they will surely reply you, if your names are ok for their market.

You can submit as many as you can; but it is good for you to have up to 10 names so they can see you as a serious fellow.

Thanks bro; I really appreciate; on the cyber cafe stuff; there is non where I am; I would try to get someone system or phone and try;
Or contact name jet if they can help me open it
