henchamb: I didn't hear the prosecution counsel say this All he said was that elrufai sold the property to saraki when elrufai was the minister for fct and they have evidence to show for it while saraki lied that he bought the property in 1996. However the senators displayed their "toutish" and animalistic behaviours by shouting.
Prosecution counsel bashed senators for making animal noise at that time and wondered the kind of laws they make at the senate. thanks bro, some people just like to mis inform. |

We shouldnt let people or posts discourage us from moving forward or keeping to plans. If u want to come to US,please do. This is the best place to get value for money you make. electricity, cable, phone, housing, cars etc. It is true that its expensive but the money you make will balance the expenses. Let me fault the posters claims and you all can visit www,walmart.com or www,craiglist.com to check the facts. This is based on where i stay(Dallas Texas) Average one bedroom = $600 check craiglist for info though depending on the area Water per gallon = $1 average meal = $5 mobile tariff using 3G network unlimited = $40 per month. 4g network unlimited = $60 Orange = .25cent taxi charge per mile here in dallas = $2.25 per mile. 95% of texans have their own vehicle cos buses are very scares here my home internet (20mbps speed)with 150 cable channels = $115 per month. you can get cheaper ones for as low as $20 per month depending on your taste. IF you wrk in a eatery in dallas, your average monthly pay is around $1600 but if you work in warehouses(so many here) it is around $2,000 per month. most professional in dallas earn average $60k yearly www.onetonline,org. Now do your maths. |

- He bluntly said Atiku will never become the President of Nigeria. Till date, Atiku's chances is lesser than when OBJ said it.
- Jonathan disappointed him by not sticking to the single term he brokered for him to 2011 election's. Today GEJ is packing his loads out of Aso Rock with any stubbornness.
- Obasanjo has not hidden his interest in Kashamu (the "Alhaji" of Chicago) to be returned to US or UK. Today his house is surrounded by NDLEA.

bishopclin: I saw various posts on the social media, criticising federal government's reduction of gasoline(PMS or Petrol) pump price from N97 to N87. More worrisome is the fact that some of our youths join the bandwagon in the criticism.
I wonder why we have some youths of our country who can not make use of their brains to ponder on issues that would further enrich the country. Present day youths are being tossed around by the older ones and sometimes, by illiterates.
Drivers paid an average of $2.2021 a gallon for regular gasoline at U.S. pumps of recent in the US (do some confirmation) 1US gallon = 3.7854ltrs $2.2021 = N398.58 (@ exchange rate of N181/$) Therefore, 1gallon = N398.58 ÷ 3.7854ltrs = N105.29/ltr in the US
Meanwhile, in Nigeria, after taking into consideration, landing costs and other expenses, it is N85/ltr for the same litre of gasoline yet people are ignorantly ranting on social media and elsewhere. Between Nigeria and the US, which is better? What has happened to some present day youths in my dear country, Nigeria? Mr. President, Goodluck Jonathan has indeed shown that he has the interest of Nigerians at heart. think before you write, there is road tax on the fuel charge in usa. minimum wage in usa is $7.25 meaning my one day pay is equal to your 15days pay(if you earn minimum wage).gas this time last year in dallas was $3.15/gallon but its $1.79 today. Even though we naija dont refine but atleast we should have the pump price below N70/litre.

bloggerina: Hello TemmyTanny, As you rightly said, birthing centres are always cheaper than hospitals but the truth is that when you use a birthing centre you must be aware that it is best for uncomplicated deliveries. As a patient, you are taking a huge risk because you can never really say how things will go during delivery and when you are transfered to a hospital you'll be billed as an emergency case. There are no hidden charges in the US. Nobody will send you a bill if services were not rendered. Most of us don't really read package plans & agreements well, we just look at the figure, smile (esp when its quite pocket-friendly), append our signatures and walk away but they ALWAYS state what it covers. That means any other service not listed will be paid for separately. All package plans cover just "well mom & baby". That means that for your friend's baby that had some complications, you should be expecting a bill from both the hospital and the NICU Pediatricians. All you can hope to do is to negotiate as you have been doing but pls advise your friend to pay all the bills and get her account to zero balance for every service provider otherwise each of her accounts will be transfered to a debt collector and the US embassy will see it everytime her name is queried on their system for visa renewal and she won't be granted one until she pays the all.
The onus lies on each and everyone of us to read well b4 signing anything. Some mummies have signed for medicaid after delivery just because they didn't read. Then visa renewal became a problem. They just signed all the forms given to them because the hospital staff said so. I don't know why we just don't like to read and ask engaging questions. If there's any form you don't really understand, set it aside and ask questions b4 you sign. We also need to do our homework well b4 choosing a hospital. If the charges are all-encompassing like MIHS, Elpaso & co, they will write it there. If they don't put it there, then you should know they will bill you separetely for everyth. Do you know some hospital packages don't even cover pharmacy? Lol. So if you ask for pain medication, suppository or anything, dem go bill you. Look b4 you leap and as much as possible, try to speak to pple who have used that hospital b4. They'll have a. Few pointers that can be useful when you are trying to choose a hospital. Just my own advise according to my experience sha. Who send me msg to be typing long post sef. Lol Cheers do you know there is discharge fee?(143$) once you give birth it is mandatory for jps physician group doctor to check your child, complication or not. there is charge for that. you are only eligible for 2 sonogram before birth but they may do up to 4 for you and that is extra cost. Those are some of the charges i am talking about.by the time you summed it up,its going to over $500.Thats why i told you all to always ask them if wat they are giving you is part of your package. bear in mind that you may need taxi for your trips in you dont have good or reliable source help in dallas.depending on location to the nearest JPS,you could be spending up to $300 in all for tfare to move around |

Dzizz: abeg teamtanny, how much exactly is it for normal delivery and planned CS at JPS. U mentioned $4k and $5k respectively. Are these amounts just only the hospital's charges for delivery or for everything including OBGYN, Paed fees, lab work, epidural? How much grand total do i budget for an elective CS? Also after how many weeks of pregnancy do they stop accepting a new patient. Please reply and help a sister normal charges is 4k but birth tru c n s is extra 1k.your package covers some lab tests but not all,I think just 2lab tests.it doesn't cover epidural. They accept new patients all the time provided you make your payments before delivery. For c n s, please budget 6500$ |

A little advice for those planning to come to dallas for child delivery. THe cheapest here are the birthcenters but if you experience complication during child birth,be ready to cough out lots of money becos they will transfer you to hospital for treatment. So far JPS clinic is the cheapest in dallas texas but you have to be extra careful. The OBGYN total is $4k(C n S = 5k) but there lots of hidden charges they wont tell you especially if there is complication. I am talking from xperience guy. My friend's is here for delivery and we visited JPS for inquiries,we asked many times if there are any hidden charges, they said no. She gave birth some weeks back and as am talking to you bills have been rolling in excess of $2k. I had to use my wisdom and cut the bills down to less $1k. JPS will knowingly send bills to you but if you dont contest the bills, you may be required to pay them. For instance, they send the lady a $1200 bill claiming its for physician group that attended to the baby cos the baby had complications.I contested it and told them the owner of the bill has left for nigeria and only gave me just 400$ just incase if any other bill comes in.They dragged it with me for long and i told them i cant pay it from my pocket cos its not my bill and moreover am just a factory worker living in food stamp(scoping them). They said i should pay less 30% of the bill tru payment plan,i refused. They later accepted he 400$ after i told them i wont pay anything. For those coming to US(dallas-JPS)for delivery, once you get to delivery room, ask what your OBGYN covers and let them know you dont want anything outside the package. If they are giving you anything outside your package they should inform you before giving you.Whenever a nurse or doctor wants to give you anything, ask if its part of your package. Saw this on lindaikeji website ,i dont know if it might be useful for you guys http://lindaikeji..com/2014/09/100-babies-and-proudly-counting.html |
