Prophet T.B. Joshua deserves to be celebrated from different perspectives, especially at a time like this when the nation is passing through some kind of recession. He has put smiles on faces and has become the greatest friend of the poor and downtrodden in society. Apart from his healing and deliverance gifts, Prophet T.B. Joshua walks tall in several aspects of human endeavours. The story of his life is an excellent demonstration of God’s ability to use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. With just primary school education, the General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations has established himself as a force to reckon with in God’s vineyard. His ministry is arguably the most visited Christian ministry in the whole of Africa and has continued to attract scintillating reviews from the international media. Tens of thousands of visitors from across the world have continued to throng the Ikotun-Egbe based ministry in search of spiritual succor. But it does not end there. The man of God understands the challenges of the troubled world and has maintained a rare reputation for helping individuals, institutions and nations overcome their spiritual as well as socio-economic challenges through crusades and humanitarian efforts. Uncountable number of people both Nigerians and foreigners have continued to benefit from his ministry’s milk of human kindness. Through his ministry’s Emmanuel TV Partners, millions of lives, nations and destinies have been changed across the world. According to the man of God, true love always searches for whom to help whenever and wherever it is in a position to do so. How he has been able to maturely manage the bad press emanating from the collapsed building incident remains very phenomenal. He has maintained a calm and unperturbed disposition – a quality that can only be God-given especially in situations of crisis. T.B. Joshua is the only Nigerian pastor that is hardly seen around the corridors of power. You will never find him in any government house because he believes that a true servant of God should be for all and not frolic around with politicians. We have seen some Christian leaders who have rubbished their reputation because of money and partisan politics but Prophet Joshua prefers to empower the masses. In the last two years, the man of God has received both national and international recognitions for his exemplary service to mankind. He was recently ranked amongst the most famous prophets in the history of mankind. The ranking was contained in a publication by an America-based research organization – www.Ranker.com. According to the organization, the ranking was based on votes from over 250 million people worldwide. A statement on its website read, “From reputable, prominent, and well known prophets to the lesser known prophets of today, these are some of the best professionals in the prophet field. If you want to answer the questions, “Who are the most famous prophets ever?” and “What are the names of famous prophets?” then you are in the right place. The publication, which parades a total of 71 prophets, named T.B. Joshua as number 13 in the world and number one in Africa followed by the late Joseph Ayo Babalola, who occupies number 32 in the world and number 2 in Africa. Only these two prophets are named from Africa. The list included great biblical figures like Abraham, Moses, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Elisha, Micah and Paul the Apostle, amongst others. The publication describes Prophet T.B. Joshua thus, “Temitope Balogun Joshua (born June 12, 1963), commonly referred to as T.B. Joshua, is a Nigerian preacher. He is the leader of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a religious organization that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos, Nigeria. He has been awarded various accolades, notably receiving the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Nigerian government in 2008 and being voted the Yoruba man of the decade by Pan-Yoruba media outlet, Irohin Odua. He was recognized as one of Africa’s 50 most influential people by Pan-African magazines, The Africa Report and New African Magazine and also listed among world’s most famous prophets”. Born on June 12, 1963, in a rustic village of Arigidi in Akoko, Ondo state, Nigeria, Joshua is said to have spent 15 months in his mother’s womb. His birth and early development is also said to be shrouded in mysteries after narrowly escaping a boulder from a nearby quarry which came crashing inches near him in his parents’ house. The name ‘Temitope’, meaning “what you (God) has done for me is worthy of thanks”. He attended six different schools within a year due to powers beyond his control. While in primary school, he was referred to as the small pastor and led evangelical activities. His ambition to join the Nigerian Army went crashing after the train that was to convey him developed fault along the way and left him stranded for six days. Prophet T.B. Joshua also washed people’s feet on the muddy corners of Lagos and worked as a poultry attendant to earn a living. His ministry, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, alongside the Emmanuel TV Partners, has become synonymous with acts of charity, healing and humanitarian efforts across the globe. Two years ago he was listed among the world’s famous people by www.thefamouspeople.com. SOURCE: https://cityvoiceng.com/t-b-joshua-at-55-succour-to-a-troubled-world/ |
It's mind-boggling how Nigeria and Nigerians continue to spout rubbish about this man - while other countries recognise his value. At the airport today, I saw no less than FIVE HUNDRED foreigners returning to their countries wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the logo of Emmanuel TV - people who visited Nigeria just to felicitate with T.B. Joshua on the occasion of his birthday. Think of how much Nigeria is gaining through this man! Yet it's Magufuli of Tanzania - not Buhari of Nigeria - that's offering public words of appreciation and celebration on the occasion of his birthday! |
Wow! This testimony is a real eye-opener, especially to know the dirty and diabolical lengths prostitutes go to 'attract' customers! Thank God for someone like TB Joshua who has such a pure anointing and has not polluted his calling by the pursuit of money. Had it been other pastors, the lady may likely have 'delivered' them that night in bed... |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x6MYFmLMyU Preparations for Prophet T.B. Joshua’s relocation to Israel seem to be heating up with the airing of a documentary on national Israeli television about the impending arrival of the Nigerian cleric. Reshet TV, one of the most successful television networks in Israel, aired an 11-minute feature on Joshua in Hebrew, detailing his recent visits to Israel and meetings with government dignitaries. According to the video’s introduction aired on Isreali Channel 2, “the man responsible for 60% of the tourism in Nigeria announced that he is moving to Israel”. The documentary, subsequently uploaded to YouTube, was punctured with clips of Joshua ministering on Emmanuel TV, along with his recent journey around Israel. He is often seen in the company of Rabbi Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, the Founder of Israel’s award-winning rescue agency, ZAKA, who recently presented Joshua with an award in honour of his extensive humanitarian efforts. “How did you get your power,” an Israeli journalist questioned Joshua in an interview, intrigued by the clips of ‘deliverance from demonic possession’ he viewed on Emmanuel TV. “From my Father, Jesus, who was born in this land,” Joshua answered with a smile. “I am an inheritance of His grace.” Interviewing foreign pilgrims who were undergoing baptism at the historical site of the Jordan River, the film-maker questioned a lady whether she had ever heard of T.B. Joshua. “Well, I live in the US and I know him because he is popular in the US,” she responded. News outlets and social media across Africa have been agog with news of Joshua’s move to Israel, several prominent Nigerian government figures calling on the cleric to rescind his decision. doctimonyeka:The actions of some 'pastors' relay uncanny similarities with 'politicians'. Once again, I think TB Joshua stands out from the majority in this regard. I have never once heard him open his mouth to respond to critics or haters. He rather regards them as 'free adverts' and counselled people last week: "Don't destroy a relationship beyond repair because the person you are fighting today may be your saviour tomorrow." A word is enough for the wise. |
Forget Okotie and his big mouth... He wants us to carry a dictionary to interpret his confusing statement. Makweembo:The issue here is - which other pastor can say something like this? This is what stands T.B. Joshua out from the crowd - money is NOT his driving force. cc Lalasticlala |
T.B. Joshua's controversial television station Emmanuel TV, which has a whopping 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, is celebrating its 11th Anniversary today. Whether you revere or revile, love or loathe him, give it to T.B. Joshua that he's making a difference! Happy Birthday Emmanuel TV! As the man always says, "The best is yet to come!"

People like to talk. Anyone who watches this video will know something is amiss. The way that building fell is not normal. If FFK has evidence, let him present it before crucifying him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6DwUoqzaeI |
I don't know the authenticity of this video but the title says it shows South Africans attacking a Nigerian... It's shocking to say the least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMExxyeEkco I hope they LISTEN to what T.B. Joshua said yesterday... "Dear Africans, we should not let our fellow Africans feel unwelcome in our countries."

He furtively stole a glance. Not a soul in sight. Tiptoeing across the hotel veranda, a bead of sweat broke his brow, signs of the intensifying battle within. Conscience dimmed to the point of dullness, lust overtook reason and perversion pounced. A gaunt lady, old enough to be his grandmother, was the victim. “You want me to arrange a prostitute,” she pondered, puzzled at the strange request of the young electrician. She was nearly 70 years old. “It’s you I want.” The bed beckoned. Mr Tope Oladele came to The Synagogue Church of All Nations with a strange predicament. Despite having a young wife and handsome son, the Ondo State indigene nursed an impulsive passion for old women. It became uncontrollable to the point where Oladele could not pass a night without seeking for an old woman and sexually satisfying himself with her. According to him, marital problems were a hereditary issue for the Oladele family. His father was polygamous and several of his siblings had multiple children for multiple mothers. Striving to “break the jinx”, Tope married his sweetheart Sade. However, the conclusion of their nuptials was the beginning of his woes. An elderly woman visited him that night in the dream and mocked him for even nursing the notion that he could enjoy a settled home. He awoke that night, his body ‘messed up’ with sperm. However, the nightmare soon went beyond the night. With affection for his wife waning by the day, attraction for elderly women continued to increase. Tope eventually succumbed to the temptation during one of his weekly excursions in another state for work. After fixing an elderly woman’s electrical appliances, he ‘fixed himself’ to her in a night of warped pleasure. Mr Oladele soon began sleeping in his parlour, not his matrimonial bed - the guilt of his actions mingled with the urge for more elderly indulgence culminating in a marriage at the point of breakage. The final straw was when Tope came to Lagos for a job. Hopeful that her husband would find deliverance, his wife counselled him to visit The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. However, he took a contrary path, as he ended up sleeping with an elderly cleaner at the hotel he lodged at. 4am that morning, Tope awoke with his gnarled companion. “I’ll be back soon,” she said with a sordid wink. Reality then dawned. “What have I done!?!” Grief-stricken and guilt-ridden, Tope ran to church that morning knowing that his actions were far from ordinary. He needed help! That Sunday at The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua released a word of prophecy pinpointing his exact problem. “There is a man here who wants to leave his wife for an old woman,” the prophecy rang forth. “You cannot help yourself.” Rushing forward after the prophet even specified the type of clothes he was wearing, Mr Oladele knew the end of his bondage had finally arrived. As Prophet T.B. Joshua stretched forth his hands, he crumpled to the ground in a heap. The spirit of perversion had been sent packing! The following night, Tope had a remarkable dream. Two elderly women came to him, shook their heads sadly and disappeared. He awoke with joy; the deliverance had been sealed from above! Testifying at The SCOAN with his wife and family, Mr Oladele stated that his love for his wife had been renewed to such a glorious extent that he termed it his ‘Wedding Day’! He apologized to his wife for his past misdemeanors, adding that ‘his eyes had opened’ following the prophecy and prayer. On her part, Sade stated that her husband’s attitude towards her had radically changed after the prophecy, which she watched LIVE on Emmanuel TV. “After the deliverance, my husband has been treating me like a queen, telling me how beautiful I am,” she told the congregation with a beaming smile. “Indeed, it is God!” https://www.facebook.com/tbjministries/posts/1383570341763738:0

In a rousing speech, Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has decried the state of Africa’s future, admonishing African countries to fight against division and focus on building a better tomorrow for its young people. In the wake of rising tensions within several African countries, the renowned cleric addressed congregants in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday 26th February 2017 in a sermon televised live on Emmanuel TV and subsequently posted to social media. "No African country can succeed alone,” Joshua began. “Africans need each other to develop,” he continued, citing an example that West Africa needs Southern Africa for development and vice versa. Joshua implored all Africans to contribute to the society they live in and not engage in illicit trade or unlawful activities. “Everyone has a contribution to make. Whether you are poor, rich, immigrant or refugee – you have a contribution to make.” He added that citizens must work hand-in-hand with the police to report those who have travelled within Africa with criminal intentions. “With regard to issues of illegal immigrants, drugs and other crimes, our duty is to work with the law enforcement agencies by giving them useful information. It is only when these agencies fail that we can lawfully protest.” Joshua then stressed that Africans should be accommodating to citizens of the same continent, calling for unity to triumph over tribal or ethnic divisiveness. “Dear Africans, we should not let other fellow Africans feel unwelcome to our countries.” The cleric spoke candidly on the state of Africa’s future, stating that the continent had “neglected her youths,” resulting in a situation that “looks gloomy, frustrating, hopeless and dark”. “When I think about the future of Africa, I have sleepless nights,” he admitted. “Africa has abandoned the youths to themselves. Africa has failed to make provision for the youths, whereas tomorrow’s Africa is the youths.” Rather than toeing the line of name-calling or blame-exchanging, the Nigerian called on Africans to take collective responsibility for their current status. Much to the delight of the multi-national crowd, the cleric then announced his readiness to travel within Africa for gatherings organised for the purpose of addressing these issues and building a better future for African youth. “What then is the way forward? The Lord has instructed me to make myself available and I know God, in His infinity, must have touched other Africans, so that we can come together to remedy this challenge”. Joshua rarely travels abroad, his last trip within Africa being a reconciliatory visit to the East African nation of Tanzania to douse tensions in the wake of the 2015 elections. Tanzania’s President John Magufuli is a self-professed follower of Joshua, visiting his church in Nigeria prior to his ascension to office. “Long live the future of Africa – the youth. Long live Africa. May God bless you,” Joshua concluded. The message comes in the midst of renewed xenophobic attacks in South Africa and escalating tensions between Northern and Southern Cameroon. Pray for Buhari, "Uninterrupted Democracy" – TB JOSHUA Prophet T.B. Joshua released an alarming set of prophecies to his congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday 19th February 2017, specifically calling for prayer for Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s health. “I have some burning issues which I want to share with you,” Joshua began before breaking his silence on the tensions currently engulfing Nigeria in the wake of Buhari’s prolonged absence on medical leave in the United Kingdom. “Your president has good intentions,” Joshua calmly stated in a message televised live on the popular Christian channel Emmanuel TV. “Good intentions cannot be carried out alone without good followers”. Sensing that his message may not be well received by all, the controversial cleric admitted that some would “hate” him for his statements but he was “okay with that”. “The priority of every Nigerian citizen now is the good health of your President because it can be anyone’s turn tomorrow. What you wish for others, God makes happen to you.” Calling on congregants to rise up in prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari, he prayed specifically for “strength where is weakness”. Joshua went further to offer a profound prayer for Nigeria’s democracy. “More importantly, we also have to rise up and pray that the Lord should give us the grace to sustain democracy. Pray for an uninterrupted democracy,” he said, much to the surprise of the congregation. The cleric then re-echoed his well-publicised prophecy in December 2015 about the devaluation of the Nigerian currency and a widespread scarcity of food. According to him, the Naira would reach a ratio of 650 to one US Dollar on the black market before it stabilises “if the system agrees with Divine will”. Joshua said these issues would continue to plague the country “until June”. The cleric further addressed the political crisis engulfing the Democratic Republic of Congo, stating he turned down an invitation from President Joseph Kabila several years earlier to visit the nation as he was “waiting for a revelation from God”. According to the cleric, he sent a delegation in his stead with a message warning the Congolese government of an impending crisis. “Pray for God’s intervention in DRC because I am seeing trouble coming – a big trouble,” Joshua stated, also calling on the congregation to pray for parts of Southern Africa affected by natural disasters and against an impending famine in Ethiopia. Joshua described the bane of the African political sphere as the pursuit of good leaders as opposed to good institutions. Shedding more light, he said that many African leaders chose cabinet members based on their hefty campaign contributions, as opposed to their qualities and loyalty, a trend that has led many Presidents to be frustrated during their stints in office. “That someone gives you money does not mean they are your friend,” Joshua explained. “Your enemy can even establish you in a big way for reasons known to him. Why should those in the same political party be fighting themselves?” Joshua said the lack of right people around a leader has led to both businesses and churches. “The people that represent their branches often crumble their vision,” he described. According to the Nigerian cleric, “The way out is – as you are growing, take time to train and impart to people. If not, by the time you finish growing, you will end up using an enemy to help you.” Furthermore, Joshua decried the attitude of blaming a country’s government for an individual’s woes, stating the main challenge was that “the world is running out of ideas. “Where there is no idea, money is useless,” he counselled. “When you run out of ideas, you begin to imitate others.” T.B. Joshua wields an immense amount of influence across Africa, largely due to the popularity of his Christian station Emmanuel TV, the proficiency of his prophecies which have allegedly come to pass and his extensive humanitarian endeavours. Since President Buhari’s departure on a medical vacation to London on January 19th 2017, rumours have been rife as to the true nature of his health predicament. "No matter how fast a lie runs, the truth will someday overtake it." - TB Joshua |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdaxrS7MzXo Prominent Ghanaian Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams has backtracked on his controversial statements regarding Islam, apologizing to the Muslim community worldwide and pleading for their forgiveness 'in the name of Allah'. The self-declared ‘father of charismatic Christianity’ in West Africa and disciple of Benson Idahosa had made some damning statements on Islam in an undated sermon posted to social media, provoking anger within the Ghanaian Muslim community. “Muslims are not just praying; they are invoking all kinds of entities,” the fiery preacher declared on a clip which was posted to YouTube. “They are dealing with all kinds of forces in Pleiades, in Orion, in Arcturus, in Mazzaroth – the Zodiacs, the powers of the underworld, the water kingdom. They are not just praying; they are dealing with white magic, black magic – different levels and dimensions of witchcraft – for total takeover of the world and of our nation,” the cleric, who is a close friend to famous American Bishop T.D. Jakes, brazenly told congregants. The Coalition of Muslim Organisations in Ghana (COMOG) were quick to condemn the sermon, describing it as “a bundle of reprehensible fallacies and a vicious misrepresentation of Islamic practice of prayers and worship.” However, it was an entirely different tone when Duncan-Williams met with some Ghanaian imams, some of whom had challenged him to a debate in lieu of his contentious message. “I want to apologise to you and to all the Muslim community; I never intended to offend or disrespect your faith,” the Archbishop stated in another clip posted to YouTube. “I deeply regret what has happened. I see it as a misunderstanding; it will not happen again.” He went further to commend Islam, adding that he often used Muslims as positive examples in his sermons and stressing Christians were to emulate them. “I use your faith and religion a lot in my preaching as an example of how Christians should follow your discipline, your commitment, your consistency, your spirituality – it’s something that I admire. It’s very unfortunate that it has happened this way.” Duncan-Williams then begged for ‘forgiveness’ from the Muslims, promising to vigorously study the Koran. “In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Gracious One, I ask for your forgiveness and trust that this will not happen again. Hereafter, we will meet at a better level. When I have finished studying my Koran, I will meet you,” he declared. The archbishop’s swift change of mind has elicited different reactions. Ahmed, a Muslim who posted a video comparing Duncan-Williams’ two opposing statements, suggested his sudden reversal of opinion was akin to hypocrisy. “Here is a big bishop who has come out to deny what he said to his congregation on TV worldwide,” the Muslim student angrily wrote in the description of the YouTube clip he uploaded. “Let me ask this question – are you saying sorry because of the threats you received? Why is it that when trouble or controversy comes, you are quick to abandon your faith,” Ahmed questioned, adding that Muslims are ready to stand for their faith no matter the cost. Ahmed went further to warn Ghanaian President John Mahama of his relationship with Duncan Williams. “Even our President Mahama used to go to him; he should know that his counselor is a liar,” he said, adding that his admission shows God is not the inspiration behind his sermons. Duncan-Williams is the presiding General Overseer of Ghana’s largest charismatic church, Action Chapel International (ACI), and the President of the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC) in Ghana. He is the owner of Dominion TV and boasts a large following on social media, with almost 800,000 Facebook followers. He has preached regularly on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and brought several prominent American ministers to his church in Ghana, including T.D. Jakes, Paula White, Donnie Mclurkin and Vashawn Mitchell.

Firstly, I’d like to thank Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo. In 2004, he made a decision that has come to profoundly affect my life today. I would certainly have no reason whatsoever to even consider writing this, talk less discovering Nigeria’s rich potentials, if not for that action. When he instructed Nigeria’s National Broadcasting Corporation to controversially ban the showing of miracles on local programs, I’m sure he had no idea that it would place Nigeria enviably on the world map. Ten years on (Tuesday 8 March 2016), Emmanuel TV marks a striking milestone in the history of Nigerian broadcasting. It’s the 10th anniversary of a television station which boasts a reputation of being among the fastest growing and most viewed in the whole continent (albeit loved and loathed with perhaps equal ferocity). I’m aware of the popularity of Nollywood films, and the following some Nigerian musicians have abroad – but this is on another level entirely, a scale that is perhaps immeasurable. Never before has content produced within Nigeria have global impact in such an escalating manner. Trust me – I have done the research! To give some context, let me provide some background data. I am an American working currently as a social media analyst in California, USA. My interest in and knowledge of Nigeria up to about one year ago was sparse to say the least. In USA, the picture painted of Nigeria generally involves some starving children in an archaic, beleaguered village, cutthroat Islamic militants chanting weird war-cries as they celebrate another merciless decapitation or the son of a ‘crown prince’ who has sent an email requesting ‘help’ to release the 100 ‘gazillion’ dollars his great-granddad has stored up in a dodgy Swiss bank account. To put it bluntly, it’s grim. Certainly not a colourful picture. It was, therefore, an unusual surprise to me when, in August last year, I inadvertently stumbled across a video on YouTube showing a side of Nigeria I had NEVER seen. After watching a clip of the Supernatural TV series, a video with an alluring (and a little alarming!) thumbnail was ‘suggested’ to me showing an alleged ‘miracle’ of a blind lady in Mexico. One nonchalant, cynical click later and I was watching a crusade with a whopping 100,000 in attendance led by guess who – a Nigerian Pastor. I internally grimaced. Theatrics and theology should not be combined. Now, I must confess at this point that although I am a professing Christian, I have a firmly founded disdain for most American televangelists – Benny Hinn and his ilk. The persistent emphasis on money, the lack of authenticity when it comes to the alleged miraculous and the emotional manipulation at play toward the disadvantaged in most of such services has left me highly skeptical. Initially, the thing that struck me with this particular YouTube clip was the overwhelming makeup of the crowd – perhaps 99% Caucasian. It is customary to see non-African preachers minister to vast African crowds – but very rare to see vice versa. The ‘miracle’ that then happened seemed almost too good to be true. This bearded black pastor, simply clad in jeans and a shirt, basically tapped a woman on her head and she crumpled to the floor. Jumping up, the expression on her face was priceless. Pure, unadulterated joy! Speaking some ecstatic form of Spanish, she began to testify that her severely diminished sight had just been restored. The crowd roared, as did my attention. Could this be real? With interest sufficiently kindled, one video led to another… and to another… and to another. My preconceived stereotypes slowly began to fade as YouTube offered more and more weird yet wonderful clips from this channel called ‘Emmanuel TV’. No wonder it has more than 300,000 subscribers and views in excess of 200 million! There was something uncannily different about the pastor. In fact, unorthodox is an understatement. The freedom with which he ministered, the simplicity with which he taught, the remarkable results that followed… Well, seven months later and I can categorically, unashamedly call myself an Emmanuel TV addict. Pastor T.B. Joshua is a Nigerian and I am not only proud to associate with him but I have profound admiration and respect for him. He has been a significant source of ‘rebranding’ not just for his nation but for Pentecostal Christianity. An array of factors has led me to this weighty conclusion but none so more than Pastor Joshua’s refreshingly unique approach to Christianity. For example, in the countless thousands of hours of footage I have viewed, I have not heard a SINGLE solicitation for money. Not one time. No bank details scrolling across the screens or funding campaigns with multiple preachers using their charisma to try and coerce cash under the premise of prosperity. Contrarily, huge amounts are given to charitable projects which span continents and make tangible differences. Even in his huge Mexican crusade, I have it on reliable authority that not even an offering was taken by the pastor. That’s practically sacrilegious over here. Churches here in USA usually comprises of some inspirational worship music, a motivational feel-good message and then, of course, a well-hyped offering to round up everything. One to two hours max. Sunday services shown live on Emmanuel TV, however, literally last the entire day. Yes, a whole day in church! Yet, they are so engaging and exciting, it feels almost timeless. The messages are practical, the reconciliations poignant, the prophecies pinpoint, the prayers powerful and the testimonies profound. T.B. Joshua remarkably combines a deep spiritual authority with a down-to-earth approach that is both endearing and eye-opening. When he speaks, it feels as if the message is directed entirely towards you. When he prays, the impact hits you right in the comfort of your own home. That’s why I thank God for Obasanjo’s miracle ban which, according to Wikipedia, paved the way for Emmanuel TV’s arrival! This is my first time of writing to an African news outlet. I don’t know if anyone will deem this worthy of publication but please let it be known to all willing to hear – Nigeria has an incredible brand ambassador in T.B. Joshua. Use him. I join the millions around the world to celebrate Emmanuel TV as it hits a decade of existence! ‘Changing Lives, Changing Nations, Changing The World’ is more than just a motto; it’s a vision which I consider myself privileged to be a part of. I find it strange to consider that this milestone may well be celebrated far more abroad than in Nigeria. Well, to coin one of T.B. Joshua’s catchphrases, “Distance is not a barrier…” Helen Baker writes from Los Angeles, USA SOURCE: PM News - http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2016/03/08/emmanuel-tv-celebrating-a-decade-of-blessings-by-helen-baker/

Emmanuel TV - thank you for introducing me to practical Christianity. Not just loud talk but love in action. Not just sermons but practical solutions to the real challenges of life. Happy birthday! |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reZ19gudLBg On Sunday 10th January 2016, Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua warned of an incident that would transpire ‘this coming Thursday’ in the continent of Asia. In a video released to YouTube, the Nigerian cleric is seen holding a piece of paper allegedly containing ‘prophetic’ messages for the world which he said would be released. “The one that is very, very imminent – that is, very immediate I need to let you know about is this coming Thursday,” he said in a service broadcast live on Christian television network Emmanuel TV. It was his second time appearing in the pulpit since a prolonged eight month absence. “I was tracing to trace it. Is it part of Europe or an Asian country,” Joshua went on to add, reiterating the need for viewers to pray on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th January 2016. On Thursday 14th January 2016 a series of explosions rocked the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, with gun battles on the streets leading to the deaths of seven people and injuries of many more. The blasts were focused around Thamrin Street, a major shopping and business district close to foreign embassies and the United Nations offices. ISIS officially took responsibility for the attack in a detailed online statement, Indonesian police adding they suspected a local group allied to ISIS was to blame. It would be recalled that several other predictions by Joshua for 2016 have seen initial signs of accuracy. These include the alleged North Korean hydrogen bomb test, the increasing pressure on Nigerian President Buhari to devalue Nigeria’s currency and the ongoing farming crisis reverberating throughout Southern Africa due to insufficient rainfall. “We pray that God would strengthen all the friends and family members of the victims of the tragic terror attacks that hit the Indonesian capital of Jakarta,” the YouTube video concludes. Joshua’s television channel Emmanuel TV debuted on DSTV late 2015 and boasts nearly 300,000 subscribers on YouTube. I was watching Emmanuel TV last Sunday and vividly recall TB Joshua prophesying that something strange would happen 'this coming Thursday' in an Asian nation. See what happened in Indonesia today... |
Although Lagarde has claimed her visit to Nigeria is unconnected with calls for Buhari to further devalue the naira, the signs on the table certainly suggest a significant devaluation is in the offing. The Cable reported today that Diamond Bank, a Nigerian deposit money bank, has predicted that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will devalue the naira by at least 15 percent to 227 against the dollar in 2016 - https://www.thecable.ng/diamond-bank-nigeriall-devalue-naira-to-2271 I am not actually surprised because I was a viewer of Emmanuel TV on December 31st when Prophet T.B. Joshua very vividly prophesied such would occur as the pressure on Buhari would be too much. “The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist. I agree Buhari has good intentions but I feel he lacks the physical strength and willpower to manage such a vociferous nation as Nigeria amidst these economic challenges. May God help our nation! |
You guys are very jobless for this to make FP. Look it up - Conrad said this in 2012 - FOUR years ago. Someone just recycled some garbage to try and gain attention... |
Look, whatever your opinion about TB Joshua may be, you can't deny that when he speaks, people should sit up and listen. TBJ has consistently prophesied, albeit often in parables, about events both nationally and internationally which have later confirmed to be true. Remember, he is giving these prophecies LIVE on a television station that is viewed by literally millions. Give the guy some credit - there's definitely a connection to the supernatural... |
Psalm 112:1-2 - “Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.” The only time we usually hear about pastor's children is when they get married! What a tremendous achievement for the young lady! |
Serah Oyindamola Joshua, the first daughter of famous Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua, was one of the 3,277 who were called to the Bar on December 15th and 16th, having successfully completed the September 2015 Bar Final Examinations at the Nigerian Law School. In an exclusive interview with The Guardian, Serah revealed that she will also be called to bar in New York in January, having passed final examinations in November. “I’m grateful to God, my family and friends, who have been of help to me. I am humbled and privileged to have succeeded. I am very happy,” Serah told The Guardian. “I am privileged and fortunate to be the daughter of such a humble and great man of God called TB Joshua. He is someone I look up to because my father is a man of God and he has been able to guide me every time I need him. I am too happy, so humbled to be his daughter. He has been a good guide. Thus, I can’t afford to disappoint him and God, because to whom much is given, much is expected.” How does she react to comments about her father? She says, “He is a true example of humility. I have seen so many character traits in him that are worthy to emulate. As a father, he is the best father anybody can pray to have. I am not just saying that because he is my father; this is just the truth. Also, it’s not what I think about him or what people think about him that counts but what God says about him.” She adds, “That’s why I said he is a true man of God and it’s not what people say that counts but what God says. Everybody has the right to air his or her opinion but God’s opinion counts most.” What was his reaction to her success story? “He was very happy and proud of me. I am always happy whenever he is proud of me. He has given me so much and I feel I have a lot to offer and can’t afford to disappoint him.” Was there any special gift or words of encouragement he gave her as a child? “Life is an experience,” she exclaims. “I know my dad and he is a living example of how to be humble and devoted to God.” The name TB Joshua has opened doors for her but not as many would think. “When people know that I am his daughter, they are always surprised and that spurs me on to work harder and achieve what I want. To every glory is a story to tell.” She adds, “He is the best dad I could ever wish for. I am so grateful to God.” On how her friends relate to her and whether they expect her to introduce them to him for prayers, she has this to say: “Yes, many are surprised, and some even want me to introduce them to him for prayers.” What’s next for Serah? “I will also be called to bar in New York in January. I passed the final examinations in November and I’m getting set for the January date in New York Supreme Court.” Challenges growing up? The young lady, who attended Ronik International School, Ejigbo, Lagos State, and later, the London School of Economic (LSE), where she did her law degree before earning a master’s in New York University (NYU) Law School, explains, “We all have challenges, but with what my father has taught me, I see challenges as stepping stone to greater heights. Also, challenges are not personal because God is involved in seeing you through. Every stumbling block is a lesson to move higher in life.” Is she her daddy or mummy’s pet? She expresses surprises, saying, “I am daddy’s pet, because I admire him a lot and the best is yet to come.” Her younger sister, Promise Joshua, who attended the occasion in Abuja, Nigeria, added: “By God’s grace, we are following his (T.B. Joshua’s) path and seeing results. My sister, who is just 22, and her ability to have combined the New York and Nigerian bar exams is a testimony to the disciplined upbringing our father gave us. She has been a role model and I am following her footsteps.” Promise is currently studying Politics and International Relations at the London School of Economics (LSE). Controversial Nigerian Prophet, T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) has been named the 2015 ‘Yoruba Man Of The Year’. According to a report in the ‘Nigerian Tribune’, the honour was bestowed on him by the ‘Egbe Omo Oodua Parapo’, a coalition of 35 Pan-Yoruba groups drawn from across the world. “We give this award to Pastor Joshua out of over 500 nominees screened by the Planning Committee of the Association,” Dr Akinwale Adewunmi, the Chairman of the award committee said in a statement following the group’s annual conference in United States. According to Adewunmi, Joshua has added “honour and admiration to the Yoruba nation”, especially through his diverse philanthropic activities. “We are proud that you are a Yoruba man with a global image in the annals of charity,” he stated, noting that Joshua’s charitable projects span 45 countries and aid ‘millions’ on a yearly basis, irrespective of their religion or ethnicity. “Pastor Joshua started as a poor boy,” the statement added, acknowledging the cleric’s uncanny rise to prominence from a poverty-stricken home in Ondo State, Nigeria. “He had no access to education neither did he enjoy any outstanding benefit from his society, yet he built himself. He educated himself and today stands out like a Professor in the greater university of life and living.” It also cited Joshua’s contribution to improving Nigeria’s image abroad. “Across the world, many ask travellers from Nigeria: ‘Oh, you are From Pastor T.B. Joshua’s country?’ ” The group noted that The SCOAN was arguably the biggest tourist attraction in the ‘South West’, adding that many foreigners would never have visited Nigeria if not for Joshua’s church. “We are proud that this generation has produced a Yoruba man, a Nigerian and an African that stands this tall,” the statement concluded. Intriguingly, T.B. Joshua has not been seen in public since his crusade in Mexico last May, over seven months ago. The Yoruba people are one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa, constituting over 40 million people worldwide.
