Its funny how some individuals just go online under the cover of anonymousity and insult elders with reckless abandon without recourse to prior reasoning. Now this one here actually thinks he is smarter than the entire NNPC, he believes he knows better than NNPC regrading the steps to follow in oil exploration. undecided
what is ''insult elders''? Is it respect that will take you out of the condition you are in?

I repeat, if i saw scientists and geologists studying the geography and drilling wildcats for exploration i would have commended. What i am seeing in this pictures is foolishness of the highest order if it relates to finding oil.
PoliticsRe: PHOTOS: NNPC Delegation Arrive Benue State In Search Of Mineral Resources by tempest01(m):
[s]These fools wasting resources on needless ventures. They must have budgeted a whole lot for this.

Since it is Nnpc I guys they are there for oil.

Why not contact a geological firm to study the basin if the five steps needed for oil to accumulate are present, then contract exploratory firms to drill exploratory wells instead of this nonsense they called "looking for resources". [/s]

modified: Topic updated to show it is an ethanol plant site they visited. No need for the numerous pictures. They should mobilize contractors to get to work already. They should not forget when using foreigners to build, to insert clauses in the contracts to enable technology transfer.

The Chinese model used in the train and other infrastructure provision is at a loss for nigeria. They give you loan with interest, use their equipment, manpower and materials to carry out the task thereby taking back a huge percentage of the loan, then we still repay the loan in the future.
There is no provision for technological transfer and no provision for local manufacturing. They still get to handle future maintenance at a cost.

Our future is being sold today.

Yeah bro I like how you think but your model won't work. Nobody will agree to do anything for free, even a volunteer would resign when he sees the amount of money passing through. The truth of the matter is the system needs central anonymous control. I'm already in the process of building a team to start my own service and partner with a programer who already has a similar system with over 200 users.
There's a need for a central anonymous control...
And the potential for government interference calls for a discreet and clandestine operation which brings more requirement to the integrity of the anonymous guys in control.

The current site has some flaws in the sense that there's no credibility which I will point out.

1. A list of people that need help should be made with their names starred out. And the user should be able to select who he wants to help. The admins shouldn't do the pairing, the user chooses who he wants to.

2. A global chat room or forum should be made available which users who experienced issues can post and this solved. This increases the perception of genuineness.

This won't stop the issue of super admins asking for help without inputting anything, but there's no way they can channel their request to majority of those that want to send help since they are in control. As you choose who you want to help.

Yes, but there will always be people not someone to fill the void. It is just a matter of knowing how much is pledged, how much has actually been given out. It will take a colossal amount of greed to collapse the system. The admin needs to continue taking people's money for a very long time and still will hardly crash the program because people are recruited through networking. I really do not see this program failing but we should wait and see, meanwhile I strongly support it.
I would support it if there's credibility to the people operating it. I have said somewhere that we have developers in nigeria and here on nairaland....why can't we come together get reputable people and build the model?

It is similar to what the banks are doing.

But the problem there is the need to remain anonymous as government will be against such because of their revenue drive. Wl

We can make an anonymous open source group that Nigerians themselves volunteer and make the model work. Only then will I support.

It is better credible Nigerians amongst us come together, and design a site and run this program by themselves, which gives credibility.

It is only then i would not be as pessimistic as the inflow will keep coming for years. For now, there's a super agent somewhere that can kill the program.

MMM are already scamming people now. The mega scam/dooms day still dey front. Many of their parody accounts and agents get help and never provide help cheesy. Its simple logic, computer programming, isolate ur agents to always receive help, and not provide help, then cycle ur victims to the provide/get help platform. At one time of the other, a victim will pay the parody/agent's account. Its common sense! At some point, when they have the target num of potential victims, they strike finally and the website goes into extinct
Given me a rethink. With time, the tune taken for people to receive help will start taking longer because their agents have been receiving help without paying in...before you know, the whole thing will stall as a lot of people will be waiting to receive help, but the sender's are few. Then theyll put " the month of reckoning into play and gather all the remaining "send help" amounts into the agents accounts before closing down.

If u tell a poor man the risk involved in being wealthy, he said instead of that let him remain poor. It is a proverb. There is risk in every business and you must take the risk and join the millionaires. MMM IS REAL. If u are honest and trustworthy, it is a community you must belong to. My advice to you is to participate with your spare money. Read the WARNiNG before you join. Don't mind those saying all sorts of things about MMM, they don't have understanding of how the system works. As I am posting I am on queue in a bank to pay in some cash to a beneficiary. TOGETHER WILL CHANGE THE WORLD.
I like the concept of MMM and the direct peer to peer transfers. The new members and the old keep putting money in the system. It works. It is similar to what the bank does.

But there is an end. The originator would want to make gains too...he is spending money on hosting, domain name, design, staff, security etc...where do you think it comes from?

What I am saying is for you to be wary and not let greed come to play. As nairalanders, we can start an equivalent venture where we come together and design a site that can do this. Then credibility comes to play. We know nobody somewhere is "getting help" without "paying in" thereby sucking life out of the venture bit by bit.

As it is, it is working but trust me a day will come when you'll wail if you are caught napping.

Right now we are putting our resources where we don't know.

MMM is fail proof. I also did your risk analysis and was amazed by what I saw. I'll educate you based on the deep understanding of the system you already have. Permit me to blow your mind sir, there will be no day of reckoning because the activities that constitute that day in my own opinion are already happening. Common sense dictates it is better to keep the gold egg laying goose alive than to kill it. What I believe is already happening is the admin through its agents already have the privilege to Get Help whenever they want without having to Provide Help first. And as long as old and new members keep Providing Help, that sink hole will be filled up almost as soon as it is created.

It is also possible for your scenario to happen but I doubt it ever will. The people alone in my small town participating in this program definitely have more than N20m in the system, you be the judge of how much lagosians will have in the system and Easterners too.

We all know what happened to the stock market despite all the regulations and everything and how Nigerian bank CEOs turned depositors funds to their personal allowance.

Life is all about risk.
That then gives another perspective. The admins keep getting help without paying in when they have finally wrecked the system, and there is no one to fill the void they created, they shut down.

MMM has over 10 safety nets which will never make it crash. And you Never notice But I will mention 10 out of them.

*1, Pause mode*

*2, 14 days defrost*

*3, Extension of the getting help hours*

*4, Seeking help from neighboring country*

*5, No central account attached*

*7, Peer to peer system*

*8, Guider's efforts*

*9 PH match hours extension*

*10, Website upgrades and security*

*1, Pause mode*

This process is applied when the numbers of the people getting help is greater than the people help. The system will pause the GH transactions and allow more PH to come into the system for the duration of 2 and half months, then the system will now restart.

PH means provide help and the GH means get help

*2, 14 days defrost*

The participants will not be able to withdraw their money until after 14 days when the payments have been confirmed. During this process, more PH would have come into the system therefore there would be pool of cash to pay the old participants.

*3, Extension of GH hours*

this occur when there is a public holidays when the banks are not working therefore, there won't be transaction and it may cause the problem to the system. The system will now extend the hours of the people who are getting help at that period to allow more People providing help into the system.

*4, Help seeking from neighboring country*

When there are more GH than PH in a country, MMM will look into the other countries which are doing well and match them together, pending the time that the affected country will be OK.

*6, No central account attached*

MMM does not have a certain account that we are sending to. MMM doesn't collect your money.

*7, Peer to peer system*

Participants pay directly to the bank account of the other participants seeking help

*8, Guider's efforts*

Guiders are the heartbeat of MMM, guiders make sure each and everyone in MMM understand the Ideology of MMM and how it works

*9, PH match hours extension*

When the system finds out that there are more GH than PH, the system will extend the hour of old PH so that to hold down their order matches duration and during this period, the system will allow more new PH to come into the system to get it balanced.

*10, Website upgrades and security*

MMM spends million of dollars in taking care of their website to cub online fraud in MMM, such as scam and other Threats.
If you guys really want the MMM to work, I believe there are lots of developers in nigeria, and reputable people can come together and replicate the model. The current site and handlers comeout as a potential fraud. It is going to happen, sooner or later.

These safety nets you mentioned is what will be used to scam you. you'll think it is the safety net working, not knowing that your money is gone.

My take on MMM Nigeria and sec : Sorry but i will respond to these from a different side because, i ve over 20 twenty unanswered questions. 1.In 2008 and i bought Ecobank share for about 110,000# and till date ve not been rewarded up to 3000#. 2. In 2011/2012 Nigeria and China signed and MOU on Kanji Dam of repairs and others will are paying above $5m Intrest rate, on a 15years deal, now sold out after 2-3years as scrab to the so call rich boys(looters) 3.In the last election dollar where seen developing legs and arms sec was blind. 4.The government were now creating grazing the Field for cattle business boys. Sec was asleep. 5. The Minister for darkness told us on a national Tv to please pay in advance a service not yet rendered, sec where are you. 6. I want answer to these before i say more. Get these correctly we have stand to SAY NO to financial slavery and has come to understand in the power of giving. The only thing that makes a common happy MMM. If your is not making profit repackaged and refire, rather still, get people with great ideas to help out. Leave the shame invite expect and be free. MMM is sure and real and has come to stay. From the lnsider
I'm not supporting SECS statement here or refuting it. What I'm saying is that one day they will close down. I am predicting their modus operandi before closing on how they will get your funds. Try as much as possible not to be among those that "provide help" before they close down.

MMM will end when online and offline articles like this begin to circulate and spread panic around hence discouraging more people from joining the scheme.

These kind of schemes thrive on what I will call goodwill and once many people begin to speak against the program as is happening now, it is most likely heading for a crash.

A word is enough for the wise.
No...all these investment schemes have a timeline. They now out when the inflow is at its peak.
