Solidify your base. Don't chase two rats at once. They can keep sponsoring grassroots activities in those other areas. |
Politics › Re: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by tempest01(m): 6:27am On Feb 17, 2023*. Modified: 12:09pm On Feb 17, 2023 |
AfricanColumbus: Nothing supercedes a presidential executive order. It can only be revoked by the president himself if it is deemed to be grossly unconstitutional.
Presidential executive orders are final.
For the number 3 question, the executive and judiciary are equal, but the head of the executive (president) supercedes all in the land. When there is a post like this that you know nothing about, instead of saying nonsense with confidence allow well grounded people to answer the questions. Everything you said shows you are either a kid that knows nothing about how things work or you are plain ignorant. Even though the Supreme Court has messed up its reputation by allowing itself to be used by actors, The Supreme Court remains the highest authority when it comes to the laws of the land or the constitution. And they have the power to compel or even reverse the actions of the president if it goes against the constitution. The Supreme Court even with these powers depend on the executive to enforce it's pronouncement, so it needs to guard carefully against scenarios like this where it can usher anarchy on itself. They have been seen to be appendages of politicians with rulings on APC candidates etc. These does not bade well to them but it doesn't in anywhere diminish their powers. |

muykem: Don't worry, let endure till tomorrow. Supreme Court will roar tomorrow and it might mark the end of Emefiele as cabal will gladly sacrifice him. supreme court will do nothing. They should have thrown out the case and asked the justice shoppers to attach the CBN as respondents. I belive that is what they will do, anything else will bring more disrepute to a once sacred institution. When bandits attempt to use the courts to achieve their aims through temporary injunctions, the court should be wise enough to navigate through, let alone the supreme court. It would have made sense if the shoppers went to the high court, attached the CBN and got the injunction. Maybe the shoppers had to do a quick market run and go where they have traders. |

PrinceOfLagos: When I said that Tinubu is not going anywhere in this election and that governor Nyesom wike cannot influence any vote for Tinubu in rivers state as the entire state is 100% Obidient , some Tinubu urchins called me names.
Wike over-estimated himself in rivers state and with the low turn out of rivers people in his Tinubu campaign today in rivers state, I expect the governor to shut up for a long while.
The campaign is a big disgrace to Wike and everything he stands for. He has exposed himself to mockery by Atiku and ayu.
Wike is obviously a lizard that thought himself a bird.
Shame!!

It seems a de-platforming is what you people on NL seek. And the ad links back to NL .
We didn't see adverts on APCs nepotism for 8 years. Shame.

At least no one will collect the old notes and they can't withdraw the amount needed for nationwide vote buying. It is also easier to reject low amount than when there bring out their old naira stash. |

reddingtonblack: Do you even understand the case at all, INEC admitted Adeleke was declared winner of Osun base on the unsynchronized results, which is what was given to APC and apc presented it in courts. The legal implication of that is, Only the report used by INEC to declared ADELEKE can be use to Nullify or Uphold adeleke victory and that is what the court did, besides all the judges unanimously declared there was over voting on both the synchronized and unsynchronized.
Let not forget, all the judge unanimously ruled certificate forgery against Adeleke, going by the electoral even that judgement is potent enough to unsit Adeleke, it happened in bayelsa where david lyon under apc was sacked by the supreme court cos of his deputy forged certificate. You don't even know anything. Saying rubbish with confidence |

These lawyers sef.
The new electoral law recognises the bvas (electronic device deployed) not the server (database) as the means of accreditation.
In this dispute, any judgement that does not consider the data on the bvas but uses an unsynchronized server is agbado judgement.
We have had lots of these kind of judgement lately. With the Supreme Court currently on the super high way of a roasted corn. |
