Another example why we tell Africans that all these imported religion from any form of Christianity to Islam are nothing but human control, enslavement, and money making schemes for the societal elite and the government.

They are all glorified business entities seeking to take your money in exchange for mind, body and God-given soul. We are Africans and should retrace our steps back to the root of our spirituality which far exceed any foreign religion.

If your friend is able to endure with her aunt don't try to convince her to leave. On the other hand, if it's her decision to leave for the job, then she can go. One important factor you must remember when giving advice to people or helping other people decide what to do is that every decision has a consequece. It's your friend alone that understands the depth of her relationship with her aunty and her ability to put up with her. If your friend leaves for the job and things don't turn out to be as she expected, she will be the one to bear it. There's no where in the world that you go without facing challenges, what makes a difference is your ability to sail through without losing heart.

The only problem we have as humans is lack of LOVE. Once every human gives up his/her selfish interest and start practising real love for one another, all problems will be over. But humans are not yet ready for that. I really don't know when the veil will be lifted from our eyes so that we can realize this simple but profound truth. Let's stop persecuting, hating and killing those who come down to this planet to show us how to practice love. All our education, economy strategy, science and technology, new invention will be in vain until we start to practice love. Stop cheating and lying to one another, stop hating and wishing bad on others. I just hope that this message will get to someone's heart.

i can't blame children for whatever they do. They are influenced by the environment and the people around them. It's the adults that should be punished 1st. In my planet leadership is by example, it's only on earth that humans think that a blind man can lead another blind man.

Another issue related to this is the setting of alter/temple. Is this also the original christian custom? Everything that has to do with physical altar ended on the cross. From the time of the new testatament the temple/altar of God is a pure heart that worships in spirit and truth. The revelation of st. John clearly states that in the new city no alter was found except the lamb of God. I can't remember when the original christians have a vestry where people will come and meet him to give solution to their problem, rather, they were commanded to GO and make disciples, baptizing them and the signs and powerful works will follow them wherever they'll GO. Througout the book of Acts, nothing is said about building any alter or a table covered with white piece of clothes and things of that sort. Who introduced all these into christianity?

The spirit that operated in the days of the original christians didn't need any schedule. Miracles were performed anywhere at anytime. They didn't have to print handbills and distribute to people inviting them to come and receive salvation on a specific day in a certain location. The spirit was given freely at all times. Even at midnight during Paul's sermon when a certain Euticus fell from an upper room, he was raised by the spirit. Peter's shadow healed the sick and raised the dead without any prior notice. The spirit was absolutely free to do anything at anytime.

I notice the same custom in today's christian churches. In their churches' Sign board their days of activities are clearly stated.Was that the original christian custom? I can remember that one of the epistles reprimanded those who still observe days,weeks and new moon. Must the spirit of God be limited to a certain day or hour?

Many years ago I went to a village diviner to make some findings, after I told him my purpose of visit he said I should come on a particular market day (Offiong), for that's the day of consulting the gods of our ancetors. I finally met him on the set day and he said everything, concluding with instructions on some sacrifices and rituals to perform. Again, these were to be performed on a specific market day (Obo).

"Where the spirit of the Lord is,there's freedom", that's what i read from the bible. But there's something that I don't understand in these modern christian churches. Let me tell a story...

Every being who is addressed as God had done something in the past that earned them that title. You equally can do something that will make people call you God.
