[quote author=Miracletwinee post=46549040]@temyb wipe your tears sharp sharp before somebody will bring cane for you. Why are you crying ? God has given you double for you trouble and you are still crying. You said you did IVF twice before this one have you. forgotten how much you spent on each cycle not to talk of the emotional and physical stress that can not be quantified. The journey that you probably would have gone twice God has made it once for you
Don't worry my dear sister God has a way of providing for this speacial gifts He send you help from all sides and surpass your expectations He did it for me and I know He will do it for you too. People that I did not even know in the US came and blessed my babies when they heard my story when we got back home it was blessing from every side at the end of the day we even had more than we spent on the missionary journey
For mothers to be that are IVF patients and carrying double pregnancy I will suggest that we ask for a cerclage to be done.pls insist on it whether the doctor feels that it's necessary or not it's acts as a preventive procedure for premature birth.you might or might not need it but it's good considering what you went through to conceive I carried mine to 38weeks and they came out strong no NICU or complication what soever in fact I had to beg the doctor to give me an earlier date because I had become very
heavy and was tired
temyb pls be strong for your babies nothing do you my sister just get ready for the vigilante it is very real ooooooo[/quote

Thank u soooooooo much. I has cerlage oooooo but Havana removed it when I wasn't feeling fine

@ all, please need advice. Everybody is on me the take medic aid for the NICU. Biko,I said no but it's like am been too stubborn. That since am paying for my bills and delivery,I should allow medic aid for their NICU. It like am been strong head, they are all saying it's allowed. And that how can I pay for NICU for like 6 weeks. Se I have millions somewhere ,I can't even sleep at all.
Am back home bit my babies are still NICU and I must say they are doing so well and strong,God has been faithful.
Please expert mummies and daddies in the house I need urgent advice ASAP. Crying my eyes out right now plus the fact that am staying in Arlington,40mins drive from the hospital. Any mom around fort Worth or coming in next month willing to share apartment. I just want to be near my babies. No money can buy kids&am grateful to God for double privilege.

Nogen:
My sister, congratulations dear and may your babies bring you joy. Now, don't panic so much over NICU bills, the most important thing is that they are alive and in good hands. I totally understand how you feel because I have been there.

You need to be strong for yourself and your babies because you all would need you , especially when they come home from the hospital.

If you need any support, feel free to pm me. I would be more than happy to help you.
@nogen thanks a bunch. Can I get ur email address. Am abit confused on somethings. Or u could email me temy4u@Hotmail.com. really appreciate.

Ajujuju2:
Let me start by saying that any man that says women are frail/fragile should castrated! wink
The lengths we go for the ones we love shows more strength than they will ever understand.

I must also congratulate you on your resilience and determination. You have offered those girls a privilege that is beyond money or power. You offered them a future.

Your faith worked alot. The Lord also blessed your life with the miracle of their birth and for that we say: PRAISEEEEEE THE LORD! Can i get an AMEN from the sisters? grin

Although please i will advice against taking such risks next time especially as it was ivf.
@ ajujuju2 amen, thanks a bunch. It was even because of the ivf I took flight ooooo. I don't believe those children might make it at 32 at the hospital back home. I didn't want to hear stories that touches the heart. As in I was just too scared. I would pay my Dr fee but I know we would be able to work something out with the hospital on the nicu,no money fit buy pikin. Have done 2 ivf,I had to just give myself brain. My prayers are that they don't stay more than 3-4 weeks maximum, they are doing good anyway. No complications&I believe there would be no complications, just one is on oxygen and they wod soon take it off. Believing God for the best for them,I just didn't trust my Nigeria hospital&u know general hospital can't be trusted with ivf even though they are sometimes good.
God that has started his work would complete it

Yes o,thank u nef. It's was just God's grace &everybody that sees me keep saying am very lucky I didn't give birth in Havana.
God should just show us mercy&let our bill not be too high especially when it's 2. I know God would show us favor.

Hello all
Got to dallas Wednesday @32 weeks & had my babies Thursday. Just had time to post my story here
Saw a little sign of water lastweek Saturday morning in Nigeria, went go Havana. As usual, they wanTed me to stay behind to have my babies.the Dr said my water broke but luckily no contractions. Was put on drugs and antibiotics and my flight was rebooked for Monday morning. Was in the hospital from sat till Monday. My flight emirate was 2pm to dubai connecting 1hr to u.'s. The Dr in Havana said I shouldn't go that I wouldn't make it to the U.'S but something in me told me I have to be strong and I want to to save my babies life I need to move ASAP. Even though I was 31 weeks then,I wasn't ready to hear stories that touches the heart plus the fact that it's IVF babies. Unfortunately the hospital didn't want to release me,they didn't want to give me fit to fly and emirate had to shift my flight to Tuesday. As God would have it,I was using another hospital who scanned me all over again and it showed I was OK. The sac water wasn't broken and I wasn't dilating. The Dr certified me OK and was deem fit to fly to the u.s
Fast forward flight was very smooth, was taking plenty water and fruits. Even though our connecting flight from dubai to u.s was full,God make sure I had 3 whole seats to myself. No contractions or pains at all. Arrived dallas fort Worth Wednesday morning. My entry was uneventful, just few questions from the cbp. Was called for secondary inspection that took like 30mins cos there was a queue. All the cbp asked was my hospital correspondence and receipt to show I already paid which I showed him and he allowed me go. Thank God for wheel chair,it was very useful.
My host came to pick me at the airport&we went home. Thursday morning,no cramps and was still OK and was resting well. Thursday evening,I started feeling contractions, even though I tried seeing my Dr Wednesday but they said till Tuesday next week.
By Thursday evening the contraction was something else,I was moved to Harris methodist hospital fort wort were I had initially paid, before I knew it Dr and nurses were all over me and I was told they were bringin them out Thursday night.
Fast forward I had my babies (twin girls) to the glory of God but they are in NICU doing great. The first doesn't need oxygen while the second one just need a little to get better. So far so good they are doing well but am soooooo scared of how much they would collect for NICU for 2 babies&they said they might be there for 3-4 more weeks but in my mind am praying that they do soooo well and let us go on time. Am still in the hospital&as a FTM it's has been God's grace o. C.S it's not a joke but I must say they nurses here are very nice and warm. Been able to walk round the hospital ward and might be discharged in 2-3 days time but would be checking on the babies time to time
Already they have started talking about medic-aid for the NICU which I have totally declined,I told theme no way.The medic aid lady told me,the bill might be easier pensive that I should take medic aid for NICU while I pay my bills and Dr fees. I said lialia ooooo. We are still on it sha but God has been faithful
Any advice from mamas in the house,God bless u all

I've just received the worst news of my life. A friend died in childbirth... Havana hospital!

I'm still in shock. This is 2016... baby and mum died.

Not our portion in Jesus name. I just needed to rant. I can only say if only...

This Nigeria sef
Hmmmmm,Havana. I really don't want to say anything. Am using that same hospital&I tell you I can't and would not give birth there. It's not by size or by name o. I had a very very bad experience there with these my pregnancy. The hospital is where my husband hospital insurance is,all they are after is money. I can't dispute that they have good doctors but they are not 100% sure. I had a clelarge or I don't know what they call it medically. But in plain lamguage,it is what they usually do for woman who carry multiple,it a procedure that involve tying the cervix of the woman so that the cervix would not come down. It usually done BTW 12-14 weeks. I was told to do it cod am carrying multiple&it's an ivf pregnancy. They actually did it but guess what I was seriously injured in the process&the Dr did not deem it fit to tell me the truth. I just noticed I bled&going to toilet was painful. My mom is also a Nurse, she kept on telling me something is wrong. Guess what, they had to stitch me to stop the bleeding without telling me&the bill they brought within 24hrs was N265,000. I got to know I was injured when I used a mirror&my enemy was furious.I quickly called my Ivf Dr who was also very angry. I told them hell no way am going to sign N265,000 for.a small procedure&I was injured. They thought I was joking cos it's insurance since am not the one paying. At the long run,the Dr begged&it was cut down to N165,000. I just told myself that lialia,I wouldn't give birth here oooo, not with the ivf thing i went through. I should now come and be heating stories that touches the heart. No way
Even with all their names,I don't trust them. It took 3 weeks for me to heal&it was a terrible experience for.me

Hello all,I went for my interview today and I was given. First of all am very grateful to God Almighty for favor&also to Nairn land, even though it was my husband that filled the visa application and everything before I started visiting nairn land, all I read was really worth it. Below is the transcript between me and the V.O

Me: Goodmorning
V.O: Goodmorning,please your passport
Me: (hands over passport, though it's a new one I had my old passport&immediately she saw it she said I should also give her the old one which have used just once for an official assignment in Dubai almost 2 years ago)
V.O: So u are going for childbirth
Me: Yes please
V.O: How much do u think u can use for childbirth in the u.'s
Me: between $12-15000k
V.O: OK, (checks the system&types) pls can I have the hospital correspondence
Me: (I hand over the hospital correspondence from Harris methodist hospital texas)
V.O: The v.o looks at it&goes through it for just few seconds. She then ask please what do you do&who is ur sponsor
Me: I work with Bleep andy husband is my major sponsor
V.O: How much does your husband earn and you too
Me: I earn Bleep and my husband earn Bleep cos he works for Bleep
V.O: Can I have his statementof account if u have it here with you
Me: Yes please. I then had over the statement
V.O: Glance through it just few seconds and returns it to me,meanwhile she has been typing on the system.
Me: Is that all
V.O: Yes please ma'am
Few seconds later
V.O: Your visa has been approved but please take note of not accepting amy for of financial assistance in the u.s,as it would jeopardise ur future attempt for visa renewal in the nearest future and same goes for your husband too.
My husband already had his visa last year
Anyway that was how I was given the white paper

Meanwhile I used Abuja&there were only 3 V.O officials bit I must say I prayed for the lady in box 9 to interview me. There was one black American there, hian it wasn't funny. Her voice was very loud&she refused people even though she gave some. I must say the best policy here is honesty,be honest. There was a pregnant woman they denied apparently she lied at first&it was the same lady that interviewed me. She asked if the woman was 8months pregnant, she said No&the v.O said she's lying as she has her edd as next month, then she admitted, later she asked if she can afford the hospital bill over there,I don't know if it's spirit of error or mistake or she doesn't understand English. Her reply was No&before then she was asked like how much she said $20,000. The V.O then said since u can't afford it ur visa has been denied.
I noticed that if u are honest&most especially God favor,ur visa would be approved. The lady that interviewed me gave people that were honest&the few ones that were dishonest she told them out rightly that they are lying&she wouldn't give them

In all am very grateful to God Almighty,He alone did it for me today. Next is my POE story loading very soon.

Sorry for my longgggg story

Hi everyone. Thanks to God for a most successful 1st missionary journey.

Used Texas Health Harris Methodist DFW. Hospital was great, wonderful nurses, the attention was great. Felt like people actually cared how I felt, not the shout shout one gets from naija nurses. Lol

My fees were:
Hospital 4200 VD, doc 2300, labs/one sonogram 350, epi 1000 (I didn't use this but called them to get the price), pediatrician 145, hearing test/pedia at birth 793 (this one pain me die cos I wasn't informed I would pay for the hospital ped separately).

Got BC after one week, applied for US passport, went for the appointment with LO waited and collected same day.

That na my tori o... Leaving in a few days... Chilling and doing last min shopping.... cheesy
@merrymum congrats on the delivery of your baby.
Am actually new here but been following posts and learning from it and it has helped me a lot. Am due first week in Augand and it's multiple&am also using Harris methodist in dallas texas but am finding it difficult to get a Dr correspondent for my visa application and it's middle next month. I have paid the hospital fee in full but I just want to ask if and how u got a Dr correspondence. Tried 2 Dr and they said they can't give until I arrive and am having a c.s cos it's an ivf thing. I wouldn't mind using ur Dr if he/she is good and ready to pay in advance too.
Regards to the baby
