Hello Wendu, As regards the 37k, it is an estimate for how much you would spend in 2 years. On the Avg Tuition fees at Uottawa are 7k per semester. When you multiply that by 4 (On the avg people spend 4 semesters aka 2 years) then you get 28k, the remainder i suppose should be for feeding and accomodation. 37k is just the avrg amount you would spend in 2 years, it can be more depending on the type of accommodation you get and your feeding as well. I hope this helps. WenduIce: 3 Likes |

enieme: Hello, You can use your normal debit card. As long as it has internet banking features. Have you bought anything online before with your debit card and it worked? If yes, then you can use it to pay for your application fee. I used First bank Visa card for mine. |

michael1385: Yes you can. Even though, sometimes, the GTB naira mastercard's network is down. I know people that have paid with their Gtb naira card, if it gives you trouble, try another bank Card, preferably First Bank as they use different card server/platforms( or whatever they call it). p.s: note that MUN states its payment portal is only open between 9am to 4:30pm our time. |

Apart from sending CIC an email query. Is it advisable to call? How can someone wait for 12 weeks (online route)? and still nothing? It would be very unfair if they send a rejection after so long. Is it still possible for them to send a rejection after keeping you for 12 weeks? |

Good Morning Guys, Please I have a serious question for my aunty. She graduated from Uni in 2005 with a 2.2 in computer science. Since then she has been working in banks (No gap year) She would like to apply to a Canadian university for a masters in computer science with the hopes of moving there with her Family. Please are there any suggestions on programs she can do with a 2.2 in computer science? Do you suggest she goes for PGD? Wouldn't that affect her visa processing? We have tried to research on University of Regina, Memorial university of Newfoundland University of Winnipeg, university of ottawa and its not quite clear if they would accept her 2.2. I would appreciate if I can get first hand experience from you guys. I look forward to any help I can get. P.S its almost 11 weeks and still no visa for me. God is in control. |

The problem with bringing up theological arguments is that people get really sensitive about these kind of topics and everyone has his or her own views. If we do not stop this argument now, it would probably go on for the next 10 pages. In other news... Pls I applied about 11 weeks ago, got called for medicals about 5 weeks ago and yet no Visa. I have mailed cic and still no visa. I am actually getting worried. I know there's nothing I can do right now. I just feel sharing my worries would make me feel better. |

This is getting disturbing. Is there anybody in the house that applied on the 15th of September, has done Medicals and still hasnt gotten a response? |
