Nigerians.
“This development will ensure that citizens
can start their enrolment using their smart
phones, a development that would ensure
that in the next couple of months, citizens,
of all ages, would have completed their
demographic enrolment before they
proceed to NIMC enrolment centres for
their biometric data capture to complete
their enrolment,” the statement said.
It is believed that the initative will help to
decongest the enrolment centres and also
ensure that citizens enroll at their
convenience before the deadline. |

A good development for the league |
The League Management Company (LMC) has announced the winners of this season’s league will smile home with a much-improved cumulative sum of 80 million Naira (more than $ 400,000). LMC chairman Shehu Dikko made the disclosure to AfricanFootball.com Dikko said, "The winners of the league would be going home with as much as 80 million Naira at the end of the season. This a well above 200 percent increase from what is presently obtainable. “We have ensured a system that the clubs get regular release of funds due to them from the LMC and by the end of the season the club who win the league would have got a cumulative of both cash and kind worth 80 million Naira, while the team who are relegated would get about 55 million Naira." He continued, "The winners of the league on final day of action will pocket 30 million Naira and you know what that means. You would agree with me that the incentives we have introduced are already making impact. "We give teams who get away win 250,000 Naira, away draw 100,000 Naira and even reward teams for fans turn out. Today, you can see teams are winning matches away from home and I am sure more would come." This season, the Nigeria premier league has already recorded five away wins in the last two rounds of matches with Enyimba, Giwa, Wikki Tourists, Heartland and Abia Warriors all taking maximum points on the road. http://africanfootball.com/mobi/mobi.php?page=article&ID=527145 |
