@bamistol and xdream, please brothers, let us forget about what we cannot change and fight for what we still have a chance of getting (our YouWIN tranche payments) as any other thing to my perception will just be a distraction.

Let us fight for our YouWIN tranche payments. Make sure you tweet
@Mbuhari
@mrskemiadeosun
@benmurraybruce
@YouWinNigeria
@bukolasaraki

atleast once everyday until we see results.

Thanks and one luv
BusinessRe: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by Terry1(m): 11:46am On Nov 30, 2015
I think we should include all these people in our tweets
@Mbuhari
@mrskemiadeosun
@benmurraybruce
@YouWinNigeria
@bukolasaraki

You can add other relevant people like Accountant General of the Federation. Please share his twitter handle here if u have it.

WE should not forget to use #YouWIN3Awardees hashtag.
Please lets work together tirelessly, we are doing it for ourselves, our staff and our country's economy.

10years from now, Nigeria will see and marvel at the outcome of Youwin Awardees.

Please I suggest all other awardees from Youwin 1 to 3 should join us in this plight. Its for the good of our Nation.

Thanks

And in case the Senate President don't respond. I think Ben Murray-Bruce will be more sympathetic. Here is his Facebook page:

This our silence is too dangerous. If we don't wake up, I pray the privileged information I got don't come to pass. But I can authoritatively declare that as far as further tranches are concerned, "Closed lip is closed destiny." I pray it should not be from one excuse to another.
You are right sir,
Please to all of us, we have to make noise, we have to go that extra miles for our remainin tranches to be paid. If we keep quiet it means we are contented and are ok like somebody already said, but we are not.
Pls lets stand up for our future and the future of all our employees and the economy of Nigeria.
President Buhari wants to create more employment and YouWin is on track and has good records, I believe if we make him to see this, he will order that our monies be paid full and maybe all our new and existing business a bus each to encourage us.

YouWiN could be rebranded but may be far away from giving out grant.
However, let's hope that YouWiN 3 would round up successfully.
Its really important and sensible if YouWIN 3 is rounded up successfully this year before whatever rebranding will take place. I thought the YouWIN funds were kept aside and were from 2014 budget.
I have confidence that the new administration will not allow businesses of a thousand plus Nigerian youth die out natural deaths just because the programme was initiated by a previous government.
Most people quit their jobs to concentrate on building their businesses and create more employments, not get frustrated and go back to looking for jobs again.

Please we have to find more effective way of reaching the people concerned (Mr. President, Accountant General of the Federation, Minister of Finance, YouWIN secretariat, etc) to round up Youwin 3

@xdream, Its a surprise. What is the update? Any new contact with YouWin since after their email on 6th Nov. I have send them a couple of emails since then but no reply.
I was thinking maybe we should start directing our mails to the Accountant General of the Federation since YouWin said thats who is to give the access code. Anyone has an idea how we can get his contact? Email, phone, twitter handle etc

You are also required to come along with a

N.B:

prejudice to the prerogative

I really cannot understand this. at least YouWin should finish paying tranche two before the boot camp. This is not fair to awardees who are yet to receive second tranche.

It's time to act, lets speak up, involve channels tv and other media houses on social media. Let's ask for our remaining payments.
I say with authority that this is one of the most successful and wise projects of the past administration. W shouldn't be dumped now.

Congrats psalmuelotiz. I wish you strength and your business I wish it rapid growth.

Remember It's #YouWIN3awardees hashtag on twitter, let's connect channels, Mr. President , Ministry of Finance, DFID, World Bank, etc.
BusinessRe: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by Terry1(m): 9:06am On Sep 29, 2015
shouldn't we be doing something? like putting pressure on the presidency and ministry of finance & news media to get heard?
Most people haven't got 2nd tranche. I heard this programme closes next month.
Let's try to get paid and stop trying to get fights. God is our strength.
Use twitter hashtag #YouWIN3awardees to air your views on twitter. please tag @MBuhari, @YouWinNigeria, Ministry of Finance etc.

Please let's not keep quiet.
One love

Thank you Beeza for giving hope to the hopeless.
Let me also add that if you've clamoured for change, and you're yet to be paid, then you shouldn't cry over this unending delay. It's obvious that the delay has already frustrated some short term goals.
What has even changed so far? You cried over change in fuel pump price yet the least you can buy a litre is N100.
Naira keeps falling against dollar everyday. You don get 24/7 power supply ba?
You agents of change said YouWiN has nothing to do with politics, why don't you make a call and have your money easily? Why's your money been subjected to decisions from the new administration? If GEJ were still the president, all these mess won't be happening.
Remember that Fashola said YouWiN is like a lottery. The new administration during the recent election campaigns said YouWiN is a failure and you would agree with me that the chances of the continuity of this programme is very slim. Now you've killed so many Nigerians dream by your selfish and silly demand for change!
Man, I see no change. All I see is chains. Or is your biz not tied down already?
Take it easy bro, the change in govt. has come, nothing anyone can do about it now. We should just pray that for the benefit of all Nigerians let the country get better.
And for us awardees, let our prayers be more stronger now that this administration doesn't cancel the program, thus the dreams of many youth.
And for all Who have received their 2nd tranche already, I advise that you be good ambassadors of this great program by growing your businesses profitably.

Mohammed is absolutely right by saying they paid out those with 'Hot heads' eg...Lagos so has to water down the reactant level! This was a consciously calculated attempt. ?
Hello guys, if there is truth in the above quoted statement, I think we should TAKE ACTIONS to counter this "consciously calculated attempt" by involving the news media.
I suggest we send messages to popular newspapers and TVs like punch, thisday, sun, channels tv, etc. If complaints come to them from many people at a time and they are made to clearly see that we have copied many other news media too, our complaint will become newsworthy and I believe we'll have it in national papers and on TV.

Our message should MUST ask that ALL remaining 400+ awardees Who haven't received their second trance be paid.

I think we should try this. I am so positive we will bring the plans of the officials trying to 'Corner' the YouWIN funds to nothing as the whole nation will turn their gaze towards them.
Car TalkRe: Which Best For Commercial? Honda Odyssey 03, Nissan Quest 04, Or Madza MVP 02? by Terry1(op): 10:09am On May 13, 2015
Thanks DECOtech. I appreciate.

I see you don't want to look the Toyota Sienna direction.
So Toyota Sienna is better than all I listed in terms of commercial?

How about fuel consumption? Again in terms of getting Mechanics easily and spare parts? Please throw more light on these if you can. Thanks again
Car TalkWhich Best For Commercial? Honda Odyssey 03, Nissan Quest 04, Or Madza MVP 02? by Terry1(op): 1:18am On May 13, 2015
Please I need a car expert to tell me which of these cars (Honda Odyssey 2003, Nissan Quest 2004, Madza MVP 2002) is best for commercial use in Nigeria. Please if you do not mind, give break down. Points such as fuel economy etc should be put in consideration.

Thanks in anticipation.
BusinessRe: Pls Help Mistake In My CAC Registeration Document. by Terry1(m): 12:16pm On May 11, 2015
It will sure affect you. My Wife had the same issue with her CAC registration December last year. Her name which is supposed to end with a "U" had a "Y" instead on the certificate documents. The bank refused to open her account.
I went back to the office in Makurdi, Benue State. I was told to write a letter explaining the issue and pay the sum of N1000 only.
The issue was corrected in a week, so I will advice you go to the CAC office yourself and inquire from them what to do. I don't think there is any need waiting on the lawyer who might delay you the more because of his busy schedules.

PoliticsBuhari's 8 Promises To Nigerians by Terry1(op): 11:09pm On Apr 13, 2015
THE PROMISES:

1. Provide free education
2. Pay the poorest 25 million people social security money
3. Generate 20,000 megawatts of electricity in four years.
4. Pay NYSC members after service year
5. Provide one meal a day for students
6. Stop Boko Haram and bring back missing Chibok girls
7. Remove immunity from public officers
8. Fight corruption

I think that's just about all the promises Gen. M. Buhari made. Now that he is elected, calling to mind that this is not a military regime and he is just one man, do you think he can fulfill these promises to Nigerians? What are the chances?
Food8 Amazing Kitchen Tips To Make Cooking Easier by Terry1(op): 10:53pm On Apr 13, 2015
Am not really a cook but i stumble across these tips and think they are fantastic.

To make your cooking experience easier, here are some interesting kitchen tips I’d like to share with you:

1. Always wash your meat thoroughly with lime or lemon. It kills off all the bacteria & gets rid of all that awful smell.

2. When boiling rice or pasta always add a tablespoon of butter. It gives it wonderful aroma & makes it taste even nicer.

3. Always wash rice thoroughly before cooking at all times. This way you don’t need to parboil the rice. Especially Basmati rice.

4. If you don’t like the skin of chicken and you happen to be the one taking it off, all you have to do is get a cloth or napkin, place it on top of the chicken part & pull the skin off. Easy!

5. If you aren’t sure how fresh your eggs are, place them in about 10cm of water.Eggs that stay on the bottom are fresh. If only one end tips up, the egg is less fresh and should be used soon. If it floats, it’s past the fresh stage.

6. If you over-salt a pot of soup, just drop in a peeled potato, the potato will absorb the excess salt.

7. For burnt rice, place a piece of white bread on top of the rice for 5-10 minutes to draw out the burned flavour.

8. Don’t store your bananas in a bunch or in a fruit bowl with other fruits. Separate your bananas and place each in a different location. Bananas release gases which cause fruits (including other bananas) to ripen quickly. Separating them will keep them fresh longer.

Do you have any more kitchen tips to add?
