TV/MoviesUp Coming Actors/actresses In South East Nigeria by Terry1(op): 1:00pm On Jul 03, 2010
What do you have to say about upcoming actors and actresses in Nigeria?

Personally, I have this to say: Well its a tough way to the top. For now, I do not think hovering around AGN auditions will help matters, try out up coming production houses that are out to take you to the top along with them.
They make your projection their priority, remember, they have a lot to gain by taking you to the top so most of them are real. I can testify.

I have one in mind that is really doing that now, their soap opera (under production) will soon hit the TV. The Cast is filled with upcoming actors/actress, then few Nollywood stars. Star Fist Entertainment with branches in Nnewi and Lagos.

PoliticsRe: Vote Wole Soyinka's Face For 5000 Naira Note Currency ! by Terry1(m): 12:51am On Jul 14, 2009
@ poster,

Thats a nice talent you got there but i think you are using it wrongly.
Naira might be devalued but it is our currency, and I think making fun or using it as a toy is not a sound idea.
So ok, Euro, Dollar, etc have high value, but no matter how high there values are, we use this same Naira to buy them when we need them.
Post like this might build a fraudulent thought in the minds of young Nigerias. I do not think its wise.
Lets give our local currency the respect it deserve.

No hard feelings poster.
RomanceA Birthday Potriat For My Girl by Terry1(op): 9:43am On Jul 13, 2009
I drew my girl on her birthday, instead of drawing, wrapping and surprising her with it on her birthday, I made her stay and watch me create her from start to finishing point. She was really astonished because I never told her I could draw untill her birthday when she was there as an eye witness. She really confessed that if she weren't there, she would have concluded that I paid an artist to do the drawing for me.
I don't care what you think but it was romantic, really, I enjoyed every bit of it.

Meet my girl, Shanpepe!

PoliticsRe: Obama In Nigeria, Oh Sorry, Ghana! by Terry1(op): 8:33am On Jul 13, 2009
I think that starts with us (the youth), we can make things right by first of all, we that are internet literates, lets wipe any thought of making illegal money online out of our minds. If internet scam (yahoozee among others, which is basically coming from the youth) is wiped out of Nigeria, that will be one big step to eradicating 419 in Nigeria.

If we sit down and think and search with determination and prayerfully, we can always see some legal business on the internet.

That is just one step of changing Nigeria. Its in our hands, its our country, its our burden, its our name that's in the mud.

What do you think?

PoliticsRe: Obama In Nigeria, Oh Sorry, Ghana! by Terry1(op): 12:40am On Jul 13, 2009
FL Gators:
No story of heat exhaustion, no story of dehydration etc. Or robbers hijacking Abuja to kidnap Obama etc.
President Obama is BLACK, he would never have been kidnapped in Nigeria, cheesy I think its WHITE (or ALBINO) that is the problem grin

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: How Do I Make Friends On Nairaland? by Terry1(m): 3:44pm On Mar 06, 2009
I do not support making of friendship on Nairaland again!

You want to know why?

Good.

A lot of id!ots are using Nairaland as a means to reach out and cheat people (fraudsters) in the name of friendship. I have gotten about seven mails from different posters claiming to have seen my email on Nairaland.
Its disgusting.

I hold the word FRIENDSHIP on a high esteem and I won't want it to be trampled upon like that.

Luck !
EducationRe: Tansian University, Umunya, Anambra State On Top! by Terry1(op): 2:03pm On Oct 04, 2008
@echezz
I don't blame you that much; I blame the kind of students our universities are bringing up these days. It is a surprise that you are a Nigerian university student and you are making reference to Oxford instead of UNIJOS where you claim to be a student, or any other Nigerian university, meaning you don't hold any university in Nigeria, even your school (UNIJOS) on a high esteem, you are rather praising a place that you haven't even seen (Oxford).

Anambra State is your state and you don't even know anything about the state, instead, someone from Benue State (I) is telling you about your state, nothing of that sought will ever happen to me in my life time. I know all the Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing and Midwifery etc in Benue State including the new once namely: University of Mkar, Mkar (licensed in 2005), Apa State Unversity yet to be licensed) North Central University (yet to be licensed) etc.

And you do not know that a university like Tansian University was licensed by the NUC on the 2nd of May, 2007, took off at its satellite campus in Oba, Idemilli-South Local Govt. Area of Anambra State and will even graduate her first set in 2010. If I were you, I would’ve quietly went online (e.g. checked NUC’s Website, Google etc) or asked questions to know about Tansian University and even the latest developments in my state rather than criticize what I don’t even know is existing.

And you think everybody on this great forum should clap for you and even follow your example by been ignorant of the developments in his or her own state or country. And criticizing what he or she does not know? That is where you are wrong! Not everyone on this forum got a diploma in - - - from NAU and is studying law in UNIJOS and making reference to Oxford.

Finally, if you can refer to all the new Universities in Nigeria and beyond as a ‘last resort’ then actually, you are a disappointment to yourself, UNIJOS, Nairaland and your state.
I will have you know that University of Jos or even your great Oxford started just like Tansian University.
I am ashamed that someone with a Diploma in - - - - - from NAU and a lawyer to be in ‘God knows when’ number of years does not even know anything about his state because he is in Jos reading law. I wonder what will happen if you cross the Nigerian borders, you might even forget that you are from Anambra State yourself or even Nigeria.

@ Orobert, Sorry dude, We all know that the DEVIL is a liar! He has never won, he will not win now and he shall never win.

@ All my fellow Nairaland Members, I am not surprise, why? because there are some Anti-NUC around dreaming they can put assunder what NUC has put together. And not only stoping at that, but also doing their best to dissuade good Nigerians who want to go to good schools that will build them up in the right way so as to change this country of ours for the best some day. For your own information, the third academic session starts Sept. 1, 2008. Part time programmes are also available.

For those who are interested, 2008/2009 admission forms are still on sale, the first aptitute test exercise was conducted on 14th July, 2008 and late ones will follow.

Then talkin of last resort, go to BIU BENIN and ask them, they will tell you that i was offered an admission in INTERNATIONAL STUDIES AND DIPLOMACY, the name is TUMEUN TERUNGWA JOHN and then to university of Mkar in Benue State, i was offered Business Management too, make enquires and get back to me, my number is 08066745471.

I'm sure you are rotting at home that is why you are jealous hAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA,

TANSIAN UNIVERSITY, UMUNYA, ANAMBRA STATE was given a licence by the NUC and approved on the 2nd of May 2007 and its now in action, no turning back.
Woe to those who were thinking it will not progress.
We now have our JAMB admission letters which are supposed to be offered to every undergraduate in the nigerian university.
If I may ask, which other nigerian university undergraduate student will boast of the JAMB admission letter at this early hours of 2007/2008 session?
Its very impossible.
Thanks to our Founder and Pro-Chancellor MSGNR. DR. J.B. AKAM.

Any criticism please?, tongue

I think the answer is a FAT NO! ATLANTIC INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OKIJA is not licenced by NUC.
Its just a pity.
Are you a student there or you are preparing to be one? then is very unfortunate for you.

Its still early for you to look out for booming new private universities like TANSIAN UNIVERSITY, UMUNYA, ANAMBRA STATE.

@fesburg, yea why not? are private universities in nigeria not nigerian universities? they said the scholarship is for students admitted in any nigerian university in the 2007/2008 session, so go ahead and apply and stop asking questions.
by the way, which nigerian private university are you from?

Kudos!
