Quite some resemblance. Our Nigerian rihanna kinda looks like omotala as well |
@ sheyma, yea its a gradual process like dollyangel said, its best when you do some movies, know people, get familiar with the business then you start your own. But the thing is, the Nigeria movie industry now is filled with the wrong & greedy people, when you contact them they start lookin at how much of you money they can lay their greedy claws on. Some even tell you that with their help you can do a film with less than how much you have in mind. It doesn‘t stop there, they rush you into doing a movie that never looks better than the junk we have in the markets everywhere in the country. They tell you they can get your movie in the market in three weeks, but you see the other side of them when you finally bring out your money and start the work. I have produced a movie too which is yet to be out. You can see the preview in the links in my signature. I know what I went through to make sure it was a success, but the fact is I would have had better. Just like you, I want a film company of my own, to do films that can really compete elsewhere, not just in Nigeria and to also run other stuff that can keep the company financially stable even when I don‘t have a film in the market. I would‘ve moved faster if I had a partner but its not everyday that you see people especially the young with the spirit of entreprenuership. I am already putting things in place to kick off. What I am trying to say is, it all depends on what you want and how determine you are. You can make better pictures as opposed to joining the bandwagon. If you find an expert adviser who really has your interest at heart, that will be a good thing for you. We can talk more if you like. risingstarsfilmproduction@gmail.com 08091450426. @dollyangel, with the little I wrote above you can figure out what people like me who are interested in the business of movie making are afraid of. So if your contacts or experts are really the type a young film producer like myself should listen to, I will really appreciate if you mail me too. Thanks guys |
Hello people, I am an entertainment enthusiast & seriously want to go into the entertainment business, making a positive change and profiting from it big time. I want to start with the movie part of it (of which i have produced one movie already). I want to set up an office in Asaba, I have a business plan laid out that could bring in almost a million naira within nine months. I need a partner, someone who can bring in about #250,000 of the start up capital, its important that the person knows at least a little about the entertainment business. We will get lawyers involved to protect our interests, with my plans in play, we will be off the ground within two months. For more info, i stay in Asaba, we could sit down & talk face to face. Call me on: 08091450426 or email me: risingstarsfilmproduction@gmail.com. Waiting... |
Lets hope she stays for more than a year & make a good impact. |

Followin d thread & enjoyin every bit of it. @villageboi, i like d way u dished out d corrections without hesitation, a bit harsh but so in order. The stuff u get only from ppl who care. @mydaxz, gud work. & the way u acknowledged ur mistakes is so matured & i tink u‘ll improve greatly. Ur efforts are in place. Am a script writer too, an actor & a producer. I really had a hard tym producing my first movie cos of the “tell“ instead of “show“ tin. A bit of my saving grace was cos most of the artists i used are professionals (Jim Iyke, Ngozi Ezeonu, Chiwetalu Agu etc) they help me a lot. & cos my story was unique, so unlike the storylines we hav on screen in nollywood, so the movie was a success. After i noticed d nuaces, i started downloadin produced hollywood scripts 2 read & improve. I‘ll appreciate if u guys carry me along too. I can be contacted @ risingstarsfilmproject@gmail.com. Thanks guys |
