Our attackers need to start putting chances away or else we are going to lament a lot this season. expansive, high pressing and possession based style is good but if you don't score your chances you end up bleeped as opponents will get the odd chances when they beat the press.

Exactly! People complain a lot about McT but they forget that his ability to progress and carry the ball plus his stamina to cover ground is very vital. His main problems are his inability to present himself for passes adequately and also his limited passing range. Those inadequacies can be corrected which is why he is going to play alot in this team.

We all have this weird obsession with our academy grads but the truth is a lot of them won't cut it at top table epl sides. I am also in this group, I was big on Chong, Shoretire and Co, but it seems that set is actually shiit. Laird and Greenwood might be the only two to actually play at a high level. Lmao.. Greenwood is mostlikely bleeped forever though. The upcoming guys are way better Garnacho, Mainoo, Iqbal and Alvaro Fernandez have got pretty high ceilings.

We really need midfield enforcement, otherwise McFred is guaranteed.

Chong should be loaned / sold. No idea what’s going on with Greenwood’s case anymore.
