Ok he is now saying he did not know him from Jos, that someone brought him. Who is that person? did he try to inform the person?. All these are the puzzle that need to be solved. I suggest is best to contact police and use your friends line and trace the location of his friend. Indeed that his friend is telling lies.
Did you enquire of his name and address when u called him.
Secondly even if police should sweep into action they need to start with the friend who is unknown and other evidence.
Please i know it is not going to be easy i think serious action is needed now, try to know the plans of your friends relatives on this issue and how they are going about it.

2. Ireport to police yourself and follow it up if you have the cash (cos police and money are friends)

4 browse through his facebook friends to see if u could trace his friend atleast know his name and picture atleast your friend could have shown you his pic.
5. Since he has graduated from unijos his dept could also help to provide necessary info.

Every prospective couple will have to decide what is best for them. Just like some people get married because of their partner's good behavior, others get married because of hips or boobs. In the same way you have to decide which is important, consent or love. It's the decision of the couple to make.


Like i said, it;s her choice to make. If she's ready to take what comes to her from his family because of love, then why not.


People kick against inter tribal marriage for several reasons which includes but not limited to the fact that they want someone who understands them based on cultural terms.

There are merits and demerits of inter tribal marriage but it's still boils down to the people involved. If an inter-tribal couple break up after one year in marriage, it's not necessarily because they're from different tribes but because they failed to work on their marriage just like other marriages of people from the same tribe.

If they broke up because of tribal misunderstandings then it's because they allowed their misunderstandings get to them. It's no different from couples having financial problems.

You said it all... any news in nairaland usually turns to war between Igbos and Yorubas even some news that needs applause. This is so bad. Other tribes also exists in this Nigeria. Instead of exposing yourselves it is better to ignore the news and move forward. Dont be surprise someone somewhere is making a research on this type of war and will soon give us accurate data on the kind of hatred that exists among these tribes. The admin have tried their best yet no way. So in conclusion are we going to say that the Igbos and the Yorubas are the problems we have in Nigeria.?
