I got a call o last week Friday or so
When I picked I thought it was wrong number because the person speaking on the other side was sounding like Hausa and I think say na all those wrong number wey dey call person dey speak Hausa.
But the person sounded professional and said am I unto so so so and so.
She said yes and the man said OK that I am calling from DPR. I want to confirm your course and what you applied for. Plus the school she finished from
She told the man and he said ok we will get back to you.


That last statement looked like an affirmation that she is being considered but they had to confirm or verify her documents or something. Perhaps something wasn't clear hence they put a call through to her.

That's why I am saying you people should not be scared. If something is not clear they will call. If everything is fine. They wouldn't need to call. If the call was so so important I am certain a lot of people would have been called. Its just for clarification and possibly because she is being considered.

I am 1 million times sure that girl was called. Would have put the message here but I don't want trouble for anyone. Some people were called. This is not a matter of scam. Because you don't know anybody that was called doesn't make it a lie. I am also very sure one or two or more people from nairaland was called but because of nay sayers like you and the rest who will always look for ways to water down or deny what is happening. They will remain quiet. If I was called I will not talk I would just keep quiet and keep praying seeing that a lot of people were not called. I wouldn't want anybody to put eyes on me.

Plus if you were not called doesn't mean you will not be given the job. It could just be for clarification purposes. That's why I am not so bothered. When people were invited for interview. Not everyone's portal opened the same time, and some had given up hope, only for their portals to open much later. Everyone should keep praying. Its not over yet!

I just feel it might be from them. I'm just connecting dots. But if you missed a call. It doesn't change anything to me o. Calls are just for confirmation or protocol. Decisions have already been made and they will send your your apl one way or the other.

That should be 23rd. The call came through in the morning. I also have something else to say and I don't care if people believe it or not. That girls connection is mad. She did her interview in abuja while I did mine in Lagos. I know that she is related to........ So I wasn't surprised she was called. It looked more like a confirmation call. They make mistakes even for HIV test. Even in general hospitals. Hmmmn Nigeria is a death trap . it is advised to go to well organised labs for proper check up. Certain things happening on ones body can interfere with the test results. But when you go to very good hospitals or labs they use the kind of equipments that will show exactly what the result is. People don't talk about it but wrong diagnosis is killing people faster than what me and you know. That's why I will never go to anyhow lab to do HIV test. Its better to go to 3 of four or even five labs to be certain.
