Mr Troll: So no be rumour say Uyi na small boy? Chai!Yeah...how much older are you? |
Okay, not that I mind, but who is liking every post I make? I feel like I have a stalker. ![]() |
MEILYN: Lol, i dont celebrate it anyway. So i dont have to think about how they came up with it.So let me ask you. I don't know if you are married, but here's the question: 1. Would you marry, or are you married to a Christian? 2. If so, would you allow your children to be Christians? |
Hello everyone... |
To be honest I never gave it a thought why Christ's birth is celebrated on December 25th. I knew it couldn't be around that time, but no one knows when for sure. I just figured someone picked a date. I guess they did. You are right. I'm sure Christians wanted to cover up a pagan holiday. I'm not condoning it. I'm just acknowledging it. |
MEILYN: Of all the days. Why december 25thI don't know. As I said, I was not aware it was a pagan holiday until this thread. "You learn something new everyday." |
very easy. All one has to do is grow some few bump hither and yon .
![]() |
Where have you been? That slippery slope is a full fledged avalanche now with NSA. Privacy, as we know it in the USA, is now gone completely. As far as HIPPA. Won't you rather have your local CDC warn you that the family next door has contagious tuberculosis? I know I would.
I believe there is a stipulation in the statute for that eventuality. |
okeyxyz: Obviously, you have no idea whatsoever about this christianity you so readily criticize and ridicule. In your purporting to be smart, you expose your ignorance. Even @logicboy who claims he used to be a christian, now we know he was just pretending to be christian, cos he has no knowledge of it's principlesI'm not sure that includes private jets, big houses and huge stadium sized chaples, while the people who are supposed to be served starve to death. |
okeyxyz:Huh? |
Logicboy03: You are becoming silly nowadays. You that read my thread explaining the issues around my ban? I cant believe you are like thisYou are just so easy to tease LB. I can't help myself. I will try to behave. Sorry. ![]() |
IMO,people used to lawlessness find it unpleasant when someone strict comes on board and enforces order.
![]() |
maclatunji: She is actually a CIA agent sent to Nairaland to convince Nigerians to stay together to make it easier for "Pinky and the Brain" to takeover the world? ![]() |
Uyi Iredia: Thanks a lotI'm so relieved to hear your dad is doing okay. Give him my regards. Sorry about the early greeting. Excuse above. Miss you. Happy Birthday again. |
striktlymi: Wow!!!Yeah I had a notification in my phone the day before so I wouldn't forget. I jumped the gun before realizing the notification was so I wouldn't forget the next day. Oh well. It's all good. At least he knows I was thinking of him. |
Alfa Seltzer: We don't have thinking malfunction, unlike you people. He is right about at least one thing. I need more information. Going off 'half cocked' is never wise. |
@ shymexx... You are right. I do not know enough about this situation to make any sort of assessment. I am sorry. I will refrain from making statements or judgements on this subject. Thank you for pointing that out. |
firestar: Good morning cheriè. How was your rest?Just now going to bed. It is 12:30am here in Texas. Good night. Laterz |

Happy birthday Iredia. I'm a little concerned. You haven't posted since December 14. I hope all is well with your father. |
DerideGull: The reason for the war is manifested by the myopic attitude towards disintegration by Africans such as you. There should be no wars if Africans have learnt to managed their businesses without intrusion of an outsides. In addition, the inability of African to manage their rude tendencies to assume control of things that do not even legally belong to them.If they bolded is true, are you sure that it doesn't have more to do with your curupt leadership. |
striktlymi: In Nigeria, it is a holiday but the holiday is not really because of the day but because of politics, imo. This and your other post on the matter are helpful. Thanx |
Mr Troll: exactly my point. Tell that to Josh and his fellow religitards.Smh... |
macof: You have a fine way of stroking...and you have a fine way of evading my inquiries, and making me smile while you do it. ![]() I used to be an English teacher btw. |
Mr Troll:I'm messing with you Mr Troll. Calm down. I don't hate Zeus. I've never met the guy. ![]() |
*pulls off a Matrix-esque move and dodges right in time*Phew! I'm sorry, milady.Point taken!
Hehehe |
Alfa Seltzer: It really annoys me when white people that caused this problem in the first place think they know better than us how we should live our lives.I wasn't even born when Nigeria became a country. How did I cause it's problems? As far as I know you were not born then either. History speaks for itself though. World history, specifically the rise and fall of civilizations happens to be a hobby. Pick up a history book. Learn something. Besides...that's why I'm here, to learn. Tell me the points I brought up will not be a problem, or give me some kind of solution. Don't be condescending and then tell me I'm wrong. |
Mr Troll: |
macof: Hey Texas beautyOkay...let's play it your way. Nigeria separates into 3 or 4, as some here have suggested. Which btw, bodes even worse for the new countries. Address the issues I brought forward. Usually you divide a post up and address each point. If you think these issues will be nonexistent, you are not thinking realistically. You are thinking whimsically. You are better at debate than this. I've seen it. Don't try to spare my feelings. I can take it. I promise you. ![]() |

I just decided to take some time off Nairaland. I followed the site for a while as a guest and stopped visiting after my BIS expired. The move has been worth my while. It feels good to be 23, though the growing responsibilities and expectations that come with age have been weighing on me. And my Dad is doing fine. He's enjoying the yuletide. My sister made sure of that with the dish she made for him.
