GAZZUZZ: with the rains and floods here, I was on 2 trips yesterday that go up to my bonnet!
There are vehicles that will not take this form of abuse and get away with it.... You know ya sef.
Expect more suspension related issues, for my bois with electronic steering I de wait unna, the lights will soon start blinking on the dashboard.
if you are yet to include flood damage to your insurance policy, now is the right time to meet your insurance people and update your info, you will pay a little extra, but if it hydolocks in deep water, insurance pays for the damage.
Drive slow and steady on wet roads, especially at night, no sudden braking, and always be close to your hazard lights just in case of hard braking from the cars in front.
In the morning bend down and look at your shafts, if the booths are torn, it's cheaper to replace them than replace entire unit.
Expect a lot of wheel bearing noises soon, it's only natural, try and replace with original units so it does not become a cycle of repairs.
May the force be with you.
My car check engine light is blinking. I know it s as a result of entering that yesterday's night flood. I have disconnected the battery. Hoping everywhere inside the car gets dry in couple of days. Also I hear the a funny sound are the back wheels when the car bounce after climbing a bump. Do I need to grease the shocks? |

ameristu: Good morning guys. Please drive very carefully during this rainy period. Saw about 5 accidents last night, one happened in front of me, three on Lekki-Express way and two on Ikorodu road also be careful where to enter with your cars and partner cars so as not to damage cars for trips of NGN3,000 to do repairs of NGN7,000.
Be careful guys. My car got stuck in a drainage last night in ikoyi parkview estate in the heavy rain. It took less than 30mins, the whole street was flooded and my car was half filled with water. Towing van made their money cos I had no other choice than to call them before that bad salty water gets to my car engine. Thank God the car is still work perfectly now buh I can't work today cos all the seats are still very wait and It will still take a couple of days to resume work. My advice always stay in the middle of the road while driving slowly on flooded streets |

kneo: It has happened to me three times. This happens when you try to calculate the trip fare while the trip is still on. Some of us often try to see how much the trip fare has grown while we are driving and the trip is not yet ended. The app misbehaves at this point and by the time you finally end the trip ( after all the traffic, long distance, two hours drive), you will simply see one ridiculous #1,200 as the fare. MY ADVICE: Don't check the price while you are still on trip. Wait till the end of the trip before you touch the app Same thing happened to me this morning too on Taxify. #1,100 for Anthony to lekki. So annoying ... A trip of 31km showing 8km and 1,100 as fare |

blackylola: very wicked riders, mostly on Taxify and they understand the Power of 1star I was in a very high surge area yesterday but to avoid low activities percentage canceling trips outside surge, I finally accepted one. To my surprise the person called and told me to come to the same high surge area that he is waiting for me there. When I told him that His pickup station was off the surge area. He claimed that it was a mistake. Hmmmm rider trying to be smart. Anyways I took the trip and got a 5star. |

shollywendy1: They are mother fucker....I took a rider to and fro dolphin estate- national theater iganmu during d fuel crisis December...she left her nokia 6 Android fone in my car...I returned it to her..after dropping her she said she was short of cash, dat she ll do a transfer...till now,I hv not seen my money. I reported to taxify, dey didn't reply until after February dat dey hv blocked d woman..now where is my moñey.?...imagine,d woman was alhaj's ooo...cover all her head Riders doing transfer isn't working for me. I had to stop take transfer and rather take them to the nearest ATM. While some riders often claim " I'm not with my ATM card" ... Then they will ve to wait till I see the money in my account. Too many fake riders. Most especially riders whose names don't appear on truecaller. They use new network lines and dispose after a ride claiming they transfer succes |

I never knew until I used the toll gates multiple times spending rough 2000 to 3000 daily. yet when its been added to rides fare, taxify till take off their 15 percentage from my returned toll gate fees.
Taxify are meant to deduct commission of fare only |

Olukunle343: Good afternoon All. I took a ride from Marina CarPark to Gbagada bus stop awhile ago. The driver showed me a fee of #900, however, he stated that the fee was not properly calculated by the app, hence, he did a “review” on the app & changed the value to #1,500.00. I later got a fee of #1,840.00 charged to my card. I checked on google map & realised the distance is 15km & there was no traffic all through. I know the ride should not be less than about #1,400.00, however, I wondering why the app did not calculate the fee properly, & also why the driver could alter the fee. Some drivers could use this option to rip off some customers. You can do the calculation yourself. Taxify is the cheapest @65 per km ... Therefore 65×15 = #975 + 400 base fare = #1,375 plus #9 x no's of min spent = #1,840 I guess. U should get a breakdown via email nw |

IlorinBoy1: Wassup with Taxify and this surge zone trick thingy. Once you get into the surge zone, it disappears! It could be your network or you arrived late to the surge zone. I took 2 trip 1.9 surge from agungi today |
