The codes on the screen has been fixed. I lost power on the dash, window and AC wasn't cooling. This is the second time it's happening. My rewire did sonething but what's a permanent solution.

Regarding the gear oil, it's not guaged at all. Below the first mark. I'll park it now until I get the atf..

Hello guys. I have been driving all day up to this point.

So some minutes ago, My Car was heavy /delayed shifting..

It'll rev but drop, it'll do this about 3/4x before picking...

Could be this be the atf? And someone recommended total atf..

That's why I said "diagnosed" not "scanned". Diagnosing is more than just plugging in the scan tool, you need a gear expert to look at it. Cause transmission can be very tricky.

It's most likely a shift solenoid issue.

I scanned it but no error code. Transmission hasn't been tampered with before neither is the engine. I'm so scared of this kazeems ruining my Gearbox.

Sometimes when I'm driving and my Car wants to move from gear 2 to gear 3, It revs up to 4000rpm and then the gear switches.

This happens randomly. The transmission fluid is guaged and it still smells nice. It's a bit brownish.

Every other thing works fine no delayed engagement whatsoever.

If the car is not shiny and extremely clean also the plates are like 5years ago and already fading, custom no get business with you.

But from what I saw in the pix you uploaded in another thread, I dont think custom would even stop you to ask for custom papers you aren't part of their food chain.

The car is clean and hasn't been registered before. I just want to register it.

Meanwhile, what are the odds of encountering custom officials inside Abuja?

A sludge means thickness, right? The engine has never been tampered with.

I do not have to open the engine everytime I want to change the oil na.

If there is sludge and you use Mobil fully synthetic, it will clean the sludge and cause the oil screen to block. This may affect the oil pump and could lead to engine knock

There's no sludge. All I want to know is can I drain and refill with Honda's recommendations?

He doesn't know, he drove down from kano with the Trans oil and engine oil. He hasn't done any change.

He said nothing has been changed. I just did some adjustments like working on the legs and wheel balancing. I plan to drain and refill the transmission oil to honda atf and also the engine oil.

Hello, I recently got an Honda accord euro, VIN check shows its 2003, the paper, statement of title says its 2006.

Now to my main concern. The Man I got it from got it FROM a car Dealer in kano. All I got from him was the Car invoice, receipt and a document called The statement of title.

I already spoke to a road safety official and he told me to just get the money for the registration and my personal info.

I reside in Abuja and I have been reading posts about Custom this and that.

I do not want to have any issues abeg. I just want to be able to use my car with peace of mind..

I am also very worried about this custom papers.

What do I do?

Did you get toks or naija used ?

I got it from a man who got it from kano a month ago. Although it hasn't been registered before. I used the VIN to confirm that.

I will be getting my first car ON Monday an Honda EOD,

I have been doing research for several months now and I have learnt alot here and on other forums.

I have also gone through the Honda accord Maintainace manual. I have read about the ball joint issue and the routine maintenance involved.

As a new timer, what are the things I should know? I.e Recommended Engine Oil, Transmission oil, etc..
