Ekiti people are proof that education is overrated. They are said to have the largest number of Professors in Nigeria, but it is arguably one of the least developed states in Nigeria. Gombe state with far less number of 'educated' people is more developed infrastructure wise, and miles apart in livability. That is not even the biggest quagmire. The height of the state's ludicrous stupidity is that a boli roasting and akara frying tout is their governor. Once again, 'education' is overrated!

Truth is, Nigerians do not use condoms. I recall the look I got from a deranged woman in a Lagos store when I asked for varieties of condoms so that I could choose the best one, the woman (an SU) looked at me like a hell-bound reprobate infidel. Even as a full-blown adult, I felt insulted and embarrassed. Now imagine what our teenagers go through. We are arguably the world's most hypocritical nation, that's why we thronged churches on Sundays & spread HIV during the week. Nigerians like the bandwagon effect. There are many countries to travel to, but EVERYBODY face Canada. I know Nigerians who are millionaires (in Euros) in Portugal, Chezck Republic and Germany, and a lot are thriving in the Scandinavia. Nigerians always play the ball where belle face.
