Sorry sir,it doesn't work that way. Port development belongs to the legislative exclusive list. Meaning,it's only the has the exclusive constitutional right to develop port in Nigeria. If otherwise, states like Akwa Ibom,Rivers,Delta and B ayelsa could have developed their ports long before now..

You are the one who needs to check your facts. Port construction is ongoing at Lekki. You can argue all you want.

The 5 Southeast governors need to come together and complete this port for Pete's sake and stop blaming everyone else for their inertia.

Lagos (with the support of private investors) is building a port at Lekki. When completed, it'll be the largest and most automated in sub-Saharan Africa. Don't blame Lagos and the FG when all port activities are directed to Lekki Port in a few years.

How do people not see that they have ZERO gain in "whoever presidency"? Within that period, Owu and Ota degenerated into ethnic clashes that led to the death of many over OBJ's attempt to divert certain wards/towns under Ota to Owu. In that period, not one single road was constructed in Owu. The repair of the Ikeja to Ota end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Express Way was started and as I type, 17 years later, yet to be completed. In short, OBJ's administration did more damage to both Owu and Ota. What was the point of the our son must be president?

If our democracy is real, how can there be an "Igbo" presidency? The very thought of such a thing as "Yoruba presidency" is repulsive if all we needed to have was a Nigerian who is fit for office, presented himself for such and received the majority votes as well as met required conditions to be the president of the Federal Republic.

We all need to wake up and not let the politicians ride us like mulls towards the next general election.
