Theben, you are cool dude but please shut up. You scored only one goal so give me that crap. That goal changed the complexity of the game. There could have been numerous outcome had that goal been allowed.
Your comrades(bingbago, santamafia, wale112, otumfour and my darling royal pearls) have conceded to the fact that the super eagles are miles ahead of the black stars. And they have pledged their supports for the super eagles. I wonder where you got your stubbornness from. |
What makes Portugal a depleted team. Portugal was just missing one player everyone else played. Portugal is just like the team that beat your super chinchins Argentina. The team is built around one guy. Don't forget Germany beat Argentina 5-0 four years ago and if they should meet Argentina they would also beat Argentina 4-0. Nigeria got to the second round through affirmative action. Nigeria is a mistake and come Monday France will correct it.
As a matter of fact, Argentina also has players like di maria, aguero, levezzi, and mascherano. These are players that are capable of hurting any team. Need i remind you that they came top in their world cup qualifying group which included teams like Colombia, uruguay and their likes? Unlike Portugal that had to qualify through playoff from a group of average and lowly ranked European teams. Nigga, my super eagles will thrash Portugal anyday. Nigeria got to the second round through hard work and sheer determination. Had the ref allowed Dzeko's goal, we would still have come back and win the game just the way we came back twice against the Argentines. So stop spewing thrash and support the two teams set out to make mama Africa proud. |
Ghana a failure, I guess been a Nigeria you would know what failure taste like because I am used to it. The only well deserved champs are your under 17. Super eagle won afcon by luck through cheap penalties and they are in the world through dubious calls and they are into the round of 16 because of affirmative action. Nigeria is a mistake that must be corrected. Now tell how does failure taste like.
Jiggaman walahi you have no shame. The black stars got to the afcon semi final by sheer luck and favour from referees. Have you forgotten that wakaso almost won the golden boot from the penalty spot? You guys could not beat depleted Portuguese team even after Germany tried to favour your team by defeating USA. Shame shame shame. |
He is not lying, this is the link http://www.africa.com/blog/the_top_10_most_liveable_cities_in_africa/
And how is the list a forbes list? |
GH KWAME you're a bloody liar. I dare you to post the link to that forbes list. Accra Ghana african second best city to live in? Jeez . If the list is confirmed as true, I will stop taking anything forbes seriously. |
Lets give honor where honor is due. The Agricultural minister is a genius and he is like Soludo in OBJ's government. He brought the agricultural sector back and since GET is the president, it goes to him too.
The agricultural minister could never have done anything had GEJ not given him his utmost support. GEJ deserves the praise for whatever improvement is going on in Agricultural sector. Just the same way a football coach gets all the praises when his team wins a match even when a player is visibly outstanding. |
Jiggaman hahahaha, don't mind me. Just joking. Dont want this thread to degenerate into Naija Ghana bashing thread. Lol I know you never meant the insults on your post. Even if you do, i forgive you ![]() |
The next power houses would be called GAY. Ghana, Afghanestan and Yemen. God will help them |
I'll continue to hate Ghana until the day petrodolla makes statements like 'i love Nigeria', 'Nigeria is great' etc. |
What happened to Ghanasoccernet.com? It's like people not longer visit that site. |
Impartial compilation. However, the left back should be Kwedwo Asemoah. Asemoah Gyan on the other hand has no place on that list. Aubumayang should take his place. |
Ten most supported National teams in the world. 1. Chinese national team - With over 1.3 billion fans, the Chinese National team happens to be the world most suppoerted National team. 2. www.nairaland.com/1515009/new-akwa-ibomstadium-uyo-taking We should open this stadium with a Nigeria - Ghana match. Make we show them say we be their oga at the top. |
I just discovered that the Nigeria - Ghana world cup qualifiers was played in Lagos. So we owe Ghana no gratitude. We won the match fair and square. |
Maybe you are not getting me, Ghana has no rival in Africa because we are simply the best. Again you can't call it rivalry when one side is clearly superior.
But to be honest, Ghana has done us some favour in football. Call it match fixing, I don't care. I remember we were in the same qualifying group for the 2002 world cup. We needed to win our last match to guarantee our place at the world cup. Ghana however had no hope of qualifying. So the final match against Nigeria in Accra was a mere formality. Ghana had to gift us 3 goals in that match to ensure our place in the tournament. I'll always be grateful to the Ghanaians for that. I've never considered that victory as a victory for Nigeria. Cos there was no way we could have beaten Ghana in Accra by 3 goals to nothing. However, Ghana clearly dominating Nigeria is nothing but farce. Most of the victories were in the 50s, 60s and 70s when football had no pedigree. This same period happen to be when Ghana along with Sudan, and Ethiopia dominated African football. The real rivals are cameroon. Met them in a couple of Nations cup finals, of course the won all . And we have also eliminated them in so many quarter final and semi final stages of the African cup of Nation. The greatest rivalry in African football remains Nigeria vs Cameroon. |
greatwaters: Bro, rivalry isn't just a trophy thing, its about bitter competition, always wanting to dominate a particular oppenent. I dont know how old you are, but since the 80's and 90's and early 2000's, the star match everyone in Africa would want to see is Nigeria vs cameroun. trophies alone dont make rivalry.Don't mind him. Even when both countries are not at their best, there is always this 'I'll rather die than to lose this match' attitude that is always displayed by the players of both teams. It's always like world cup final. But Nigeria - Ghana rivalry is more of rival with the fans than with the players. The fans are the ones who always create the atmosphere of rivalry. I've watched some boring Naija - Ghana matches but never witnessed a Naija - cameroon boring match. |
Not Ghana is the big brother and we tend to lead then you follow. If Ghana had the same pop as Nigeria it wouldn't even be a debate who is the greatest. You are call big brother because of your pop. Anyway let me squash this once and for all. You are only significant because of your population and nothing else. Can you honestly say Ghana and Nigeria are rivals in soccer?
Can you honestly say Argentina and Brazil are soccer rivals? Can you honestly say mexico and USA are soccer rivals? Can you honestly say England and Germany are soccer rivals? If you can provide a genuine answer to these questions, then I guess you won't be needing my own answer. |
I agree 100% I keep hearing Ghana and Nigeria rivalry, which is absurd. Ghana and Nigeria are rivals in many areas but football is not one. You can quote me on this you can't call it rivalry when one side (Ghana) always dominate. Ghana doesn't really have a rival when it comes to african soccer.
Which many areas na? Bros always desist from sipping alomo before making a comment. Football is the only reason we call ourselves rival. Nigeria is a big brother to Ghana in all other areas. Yes, even crime ![]() |
collynzo2: Update yourself. ![]() |
BINGBAGBO1: do you mean the 4-time champions? Were you born the last time your country won the tournament? |
Everyone knows that champ was a fluke and can't be duplicated even if they played the tournament ten times.
You should pray for your Black Stars to use the same fluke to liberate Ghana from 31 years of trophy drought. |
How come he's visiting the most asslicking, gullible and easy to exploit african countries? |
Choi! No world cup for him. I wonder how Ghana would cope with this, as he along with Andre Ayew are the most reliable Ghana midfielders. As for the kwesia asking how the news is Nigerian related, your mental condition has gone beyond the threshold limit, you obviously need to be attended to before it gets too late. This is sport section fool. So many other players have been mentioned, players like Drogba, Toure, Wayama, Messi, Ronaldo etc, none of the countries citizens have come to ask why their players are mentioned on Naija site. Muntari himself should be glad he's noticed here. Foolish Ghanaian ![]() |
Jiggaman, I'm too tired to reply your lengthy post. Not that you actually won but I'm too stressed up to start digging for info and disputing the hogwash you wrote there. Tomorrow is another day. Good night |
But Nigeria is non of these countries. Those country you mentioned can be compare to each other because they all developed and the only thing that separates them is land mass and pop but Ghana and Nigeria is like day and night and apart from pop and land mass Ghana is better in everything compare to Nigeria.
Ever heard the word analogy? Nigeria is to Ghana as Germany is to Austria. Nigeria is bigger than Ghana in all ramifications. We are only rivals in football and that is where it ends. The only two African country that is near Nigeria in terms development are Egypt and South Africa. Take away Accra from Ghana, and Ghana will be a local village without civilisation. The Economy of Lagos state is larger than the economy of the entire Ghana. Mind you, lagos does not depend on oil wealth to sustain itself. Nollywood is larger than every movie industry in Africa. 3rd largest in the world, behind hollywood and bollywood. Nigeria is ranked as the best investment destination in the entire Africa. I dare say that Ghana will never survive should they be plagued by terrorists. Despite attacks from boko haram insurgents in the north eastern part of Naija, our economy still maintain the same growth rate. Abeg, it is an abomination to compare Naija with Ghana. Just make further attempt to compare and I'll expose Ghana the more. Trust me |
When did Jonathan become an entrepreneur?
Is Jonathan the only one that visited Kenya with 10 private jets? |
Yes! We(Ghanaians) have constant electricity, which I know kills the likes of you to admit... This is nairaland, but you mostly discuss Ghanaian topics, Some of us are busy on nairaland just to correct the lies you spew about Ghanains daily.
www.nairaland.com/1577673/kenyans-surprised-jonathan-crew-visited This is a Kenyan topic. Despite the insults and negative comments made against the Kenyans, there is yet to be a Kenyan comment on the thread. Is it that the kenyans are more civilised than you Ghanaians? |
See how sarcasm drips from her mouth as she speaks about the country. We should be ashamed of ourselves.
We should be ashamed because our successful entrepreneurs are able to afford private jet? Seriously? |
SantaMafia: Ghanaians r busy building their country n economy n nigerians r busy with irrelevant things?OP,how does your stvpid question improve ur generator-based economy?BTW,let's compare d UN Human Dev Index for both countries! the difference is 7Up! LOLThe use of generator would soon be a thing of the past. Besides, can you swear with your life that there are no generator users in Ghana? Is there electricity in every Ghanaian village? You should be ashamed that a state in your so called generator based economy is bigger than your well electrified economy. Comparing Nigeria with Ghana is like comparing Germany with Austria or Leischetein, Australia with Newzealand, South Africa with Lesotho/Botswana, USA with Mexico. While the smaller countries admit to the superiority of their bigger neighbours and gain from them economically, Ghanaians arrogance and pride won't allow them to acknowledge the superiority/contribution of big brother to the growth of their economy. |
