Depends on the type of business. Sales or purchase receipts are acceptable. You just have to scan some of them

Dear all,

Please, a friend wants to apply for Australia Student Visa. He however wants to use his dad account rather than the company's account. The reason being that to prepare tax clearance for the company will cost him much so he is thinking of preparing personal tax for his dad and submit is dad account statement as sponsor.

Please, note that this guy is over 30, unmarried and his home ties is the company.

I need your urgent advise on what he should do to have a successful visa application.

If he's the first son, it'll not be difficult convincing the home affairs department that he's the natural heir (if the spelling is correct) as regards African tradition. He'll need the company registration documents and some business invoice to prove the existence of the company

However, you can still go ahead to apply for pass and put a date that's after the 14days U mentioned. Once granted, U fly to WA as an interstate traveller rather than international traveller (because U spend 14days in another State)

Note that the pass is 'date-restricted' as U have only few days in addition to your proposed fly in date.

International Student already enrolled in Uni in WA is now allow to enter WA by applying for pass, you click/choose ‘Enrolled Student in WA’ as the exemption category;

Great news. Thanks for the information dear.
I already arrived Australia and I stated on my travel declaration that their was no plan to move to another state within 14 days of arrival (I didn't anticipate the WA easing of restrictions).
As it stands, should I apply for the and move. Also, do I need to quarantine in WA?.

Unfortunately for us, that’s one of the requirements. You must provide proof that you have booked a flight to return to Nigeria after your business/whatever in the country you are heading to. Without this, no PTA for you.

The CBN actually expects me to book a 2 years flight in advance.

Can I renew my passport while in Australia or should I do it in Nigeria before travelling. It expires few months before end of my course

In the travel declaration, are we supposed to fill the transit country in which we enter Australia from as our country of departure and also, since we'll be transiting in another country before entering Australia, is it considered that we've visited other countries prior to our trip to Australia. (Regarding the part that asked if the traveller gas been to other countries within 14 days of trip to Australia).

I was requested to make payment for my OSHC extension but it's declining my master card. Please who knows an alternative means of payment for Bupa

Who knows how to extend OSHC with Bupa. I just contacted them and they said I'll have to wait for 4 business days

Just received an email from Curtin University that WA has suspended their border reopening plans indefinitely. I've already completed one semester online and awaiting my Visa. What do you guys think or advice in this case
