Just wondering, from the price is ther any reason people prefer Q-Life to IOM. Q-life available appointment is February 19 or so, and IOM is around January.

I tried calling IOM all through Friday to make appointment but wasnt successful. I thought the higher price makes it premium service. Q-Life answers calls, email and you can book online.

I am thinking of using IOM because of the closer appointment date, else with difficulty getting them, I am already discouraged.

Please can people share experiences.

IOM doesn't pick calls. Send a mail to iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int they will respond with the details they need from you. Their response may come after 4 days as in my case.

Draft a letter in the format as required and show the person you were reporting to..that they it has to be like thi format before it will be accepted


If they insist on writing NYSC sent you there..then rephrase how it should be written....like she worked under the NYSC programme in this school from so to so and taught so and so class...and her responsibilities include....... make sure they state how much you were paid on a per month or per year basis
It should be written on school letter headed paper and signed.

They eventually wrote it stating that "this is to certify that.... Was posted here. They included my duties, salary and start date. They didnt include how long I worked there. It was written on their letter head and has the stamp of the principal and his signature plus phone number. His name isn't written on the letter too. Can I use the letter please?

I am currently at my NYSC PPA(a school). I want a reference letter from them but they are insisting they must state its NYSC that posted me there. Will this be acceptable please? I'm still there o, trying to convince them.

So here is my immigration story in detail (Very very long gist)

This journey started in 2016.. well, the desire to relocate started in 2016. Then I did WES & IELTS; I really cannot remember the timelines, I can remember WES took like 8 weeks and then scored 7 in IELTS.. LSRW - 7,7.5,7,6.5. I had no idea what minimum scores were, I actually thought I had passed.. lool.. I tried entering the pool, the pool bounced me, then i knew there was a problem.

You’re giving up either wait time or money. You choose your demon. You can do medicals when you get an ITA (I think it’s not possible to do pre-ita anymore as the clinics ask for your ITA before booking) Contact Qlife or IOM. Choose the one that favors you based on the date they’ll give you and/or the cheaper option.

Thank you. I got information about Qlife online but no working phone number for IOM. Which of them is faster please and does anyone have the phone number to contact for IOM booking if I choose to use them?

Hello, your CRS point seems rather high, so you have a high probability of clinching ITA in the next draw, congratulobia!

It is usually advised to do medicals post-ITA, but you can take the risk and do it before.

For medicals, the options are IOM or Qlife, you can do a google search to get their email address/phone number to book an appointment on same.

There isn't any preferred one per say, the difference is on cost/waiting time, depending on how urgent you'd like to get it done.

ICES accepts transcripts via email. I don't think WES does.

Yes, she can claim siblings points from her spouse's brother or sister.

She most likely was by hand and might not have paid tax. I guess that's why she's asking.

You were paid for the job
The job was part time/full time
Check if this is a registered business too.

Check to see if NOC 6211 suits what you did.
