Thank God you say those politicians do that in private.
Why can't he do that in private.

Will you be comfortable seeing your sister or brother having sex publicly with people even though they are above 18 and they are ok with it?
But Having sex in Public is against the Law remember. He's trying to say this is not against any law.

Kudus tho, but IMO all I see is misplaced priorities.

Nice, in addition

Business class and First class doesn't guarantee safety during airplane crashes. It just for conveniency. Cos I was tring to explain this to my lil cousin when he asked does it mean when crash happens those in First class would be saved.

He couldn't understand why there are varying prices for different segments in planes till I broke it down for him.

You are right, churches should do more for the society I agree with that but if government were doing their work maybe, MAYBE this debate won't be going on, but I disagree with you that we can't involve government in this, government involved themselves in religion the moment they started rolling out policies that affect people religion. Have you noticed that most of the policies affect Christians most times than the 2 major religions we have in Nigeria, also Islamic bodies have also started establishing private universities and I tell you they don't come cheap, we shouldn't attack churches alone, it's goes far beyond churches, but fact is this, it's not compulsory even if you are a church member that your wards must attend those schools, if you can't afford it, you live within your means, even the whites the brought education, schools isn't cheap in their countries, I tell you 500k is not too much if things were right in the country, in a country where minimum wage is 18k, definitely people can't afford it except those that work where they get millions per month, minimum wage in other countries is far better than ours, let government make life comfortable for people and watch if people will still complain about sending their wards to private schools, remember what ATIKU ABUBAKAR said, "My secondary school students are better than federal university students", for that standard you know how much they pay talk less of his university, is it his money or our collective money, these wicked souls mesmerized our educational system, and will still rub it in our faces.. I put it to you, churches would not have involved themselves in many things if the government were doing well and doing the right things.
Agreed, our politcians have really screwed us. Countries like India, China, N/S korea are also religious but still far better than Us. Why? Cos their Government cares about saving humanity not their pockets. Funny enough we're too divided by tribalistic and religious entity. They used that as a weapon against us. If we can solve the issue of Tribal and religion hated among ourselves we can hold our leaders accountable.

On the bolded, if the missionary guys thought about this then you'd believe 80% of the people educated in Nigeria presently wouldn't have been. Cos the missionary school then was the savior bringing a learned environment.

Talkative, why don't you establish your own and do it the way you deem fit. You have not championed a nursary school of five students and you're here preaching how missionary schools should be ran. I tire for poor man reasoning line ooooo
It's a faceless forum. You neither know who I'm nor where I'm. And not everybody do public charity for everybody to see. Stay blessed.

Now from your points, you really think a man that wants to make heaven won't consult God before taking decisions. As of today, only Bishop oyedepo has stated it categorically that his son will take over, RCCG definitely no, it's left for God to decide who takes over, if God tells them it's their son, they will and if otherwise who are we to question God. Secondly, you talk about mission schools, how many of these missions schools are still in the hands of churches, where were Christians years back, when government ordered churches to hand over these schools, visit mission schools today and see how poor the standards are with dilapidated structures all over the place with the government doing nothing, no equipment for laboratories etc. These schools are a shadow of their former self, until government rise up to their responsibilities we will keep having same problems, as private individuals will keep running the economy and people will keep shouting
Ok about the first issue let's wait and see, U and I know at Rccg and all others the son and close family member of the GO hold vital positions in the ministry and they have high probability of taking over. But I'd ignored that point.

You shifted the 2nd issue to politics, we all know how Politics have failed us.

What I was saying is when these missionary schools where established they were based mainly on charity regardless of who you're. To help masses as a whole not inflicting high prices for education or health issues. It function for many century. Missionary schools had more effect on common man life and were much more than any of the present day school churchs can establish. This was in reference to your issues on babcock, covenant etc.

It failed when the Government took over. We're not talking politics here we know how clueless that's.

From your first statement, if church is own by God then God decides when those he has chosen hands over not men.... You call church a business now, yet schools like Bowen, Covenant, landmark, redeemers, babcock etc are own by the church, they give higher standard than what your government can provide and take in students even Muslim take their children to these school because of their standard, if you are aggrieved cos you or your family as church members cannot afford these schools then work hard so that your children can go through such schools. BTW you mentioned Jesus and other prophets, no man of God goes before his time and no government can force them to leave the work
U raised 2 issues I'll try break it down exclusively

1st, Definitely God choses when men of God hand down or who next to chose, Buh why does To these churches God only chose Son and Family of the leader to take over? Can't Son of a no man take up this stage? Remember God can pick anyone regardless your background and to think of God choses this men as no one then.

Your 2nd point is void you know why? When the Christian missionary brought education to Nigeria they built several missionary free schools (I attended and virtually paid nothing all thru) and virtually free clinic health system for everyone with high standards. They did it with charity mainly in their mind. Now tell me if churches of today here are to introduce religion to other country, would it have been charity as the missionary did in Nigeria?

Mugabe is a political leader....while Adeboye is just the leader of a church denomination....who by the way do not run a country, and can be shut down by the country they are domiciled in.
So who among the two (Mugabe & Adeboye) shouldn't have problem releasing sit?

To me Church is owned by God and should have no problem changing leadership.

You founded a church doesn't mean you should stay there forever and turn it to family business.

So for a leader of a church to be a having a problem of dropping leadership to any follow member then it shows this church of a thing in Nigeria is just business

Many prophet came in the past and left, Jesus ministered in three years and was enough to lead his people through and others took over. So what's really the problem about dropping for someone else?

Only if its a mere business... Cos that's how business works not charitable organizations..

Truth is bitter tho..

Pedro, we can't afford to lose any clear chances.

Willian should be good as substitute just as the first leg.
