14: You are almost right, but not quiet. You are correct that Supersport is broadcasting those matches at a loss, they are hoping they will reap the rewards at a later stage, if the league grows in nigeria in such a way people go to subscribe wanting to watch it. Until that happens, supersport will be lossing money. I dont see the $34m deal increase in the near future because as i see it, it seems there is little improvement if not none. For example, tonight match was a history in the making, the stadium was 25% full. where are the fans?
Untill the authority take this league as a business and package it well, nothing will ever change. If they hope Supersport will just come and dish out money without any returns, they must forget it. They will run out of petient and pack their bags to the next promising african league. Nigerians themselves must start supporting local clubs and leave this useless EPL, money goes out of the country to go buy the rights of epl instead of developing local league and players.
Supersport pays more money for the South Africa league than they do for EPL. As a results, money will remain at home to develop the league and its players, hence you dont see most south african players flooding european league, because the local league pays more than most european leagues. A south african player will be mad to go and play his soccer in countries like Sweden, denmark, belgium, norway, russia, scotland, portugal, etc. There are players in the PSL who come from sweden, holland, brazil, australia, new zealand, chile, japan, columbia, and the rest of Africa. The key to improving any league is having star players play in the league You either buy the star players or you groom them Star players attract fans to themselves, their teams and overall the league they play in The attracted fans gradually build a cult following for the players (both stars and non stars), the various teams and the league in general This is what forms the foundation for a strong league Investors are only attracted to what people are attracted to cause what people are attracted to is what brings money |

Do you know how many nationalities or tribes are there in India, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Angola, South Africa, Kenya, USA, Canada etc? These were under colonial masters besides those previously listed. Either your history is faulty or you don't know your onions!
No body forced you into Nigeria. Indeed, one of your eminent sons, Zik, fought for Nigerian independence. You were happy for Ibos to be at the helm of affairs in Nigeria but as soon as power slipped from your hands, you started churning out outlandish excuses for Ibo-own country! Power slipped from your hands because of that same tribal bigotry that conspired with Biafra to eliminate all National and regional leaders except of Ibos' extraction. This is the genesis of your mistrust in Nigeria. As for your threat of achieving Biafra come rain come sun shine, only an unhinged general will brag of running away from the war front as a feat.
No matter what unbaked response you care to write, I will not grace it any further but will leave you with this haunting images of what tribal bigotry, egocentricity and mad bragging entailed. Take a look:[/b] What's your point in posting those pictures |

if truly it was forged why wasn't he disqualified agrees it was PDP at the helms of affairs for the padding 16years of which Buhari presented the same certificates 3 consecutive times during the said period.
if you have proof, well, head to court. Godspeed. A photocopy of the statement of result was presented in the media for all to see and what was shown was clearly a forged certificate except one wants to lie to his or her self The President should also ask waec to present his authentic documents which they should have if he wants to prove otherwise This is not about politics |

instead he will be busy fighting for his life and freedom next week. The certificate presented by the President during the election period was clearly a forged one That's an offence on its own He still has to present the original of the said certificate |

whizpa: Emancipation will not correct it. Every scenario show this will end up violently and thus, people will die, A lot of people. That won't be bravery or patriotism at all. It would be 'people who died in an avoidable war'. Avoiding it isn't cowardice. It is doing the right thing.. If the 1994 genocide in Rwanda thought us anything, It would be, There is no glory in fighting or killing in the name of tribalism.. At the end of the day(probably sometime after innocent people might have died), Igbo will still marry from a yoruba tribe. And that is not impossible. It's happening in north and south Korea and also in Rwanda(between the Hutu and the Tutsis). Amidst the rife tribalism, we are already seeing different tribes coming as one in Naija and it will still(and will always) happen. Tribalism can be expunged.. Yoruba and Igbo people are not each other's problem. They both have a common problem sitting on fence, waiting for them to get at each other's throat.
Peace and Unity is a possibility. The deaths between 1967-1970 was enough.. Those dead souls are the foundation of where we stand now. If another civil war ensues. Those deaths would have been for nothing. When you make a mistake that is correctable you correct the mistake Patching, fine-tuning, compromising will only be a waste of time cause things will never turn out right till the mistake is corrected You don't own your life so you should not be afraid to loss it cause nothing truely dies because everything is energy and energy does not die but is transfered from one form to another You should not be bothered about where your going to cause you don't know where you came from All you have to do is to keep doing what's right at every phase of your existence |

whizpa: Well.. I don't wanna dispute u at all. I believe you are right in your own ways but lemme ask you a few questions:
1. Is Nigeria the only country with people of diverse culture, language, Religion and political Ideology?
2. Was Nigeria the first country to have a civil war? Well bruh, No!! Lemme break it down a litte... The American civil war between the northern and southern United states is one of the biggest ever recorded.. These people have since moved forward. Even the 'red indians'(Mind you, they had different culture, religion and even lanaguage then) who were the major victims in all this have since learnt to live harmoniously with the Texans and every other race or tribe or whatever they wanna call it. Details are unnecessary.
3. Can you or any other person guarantee that there won't be war if this emancipation 'jibe' were to be put to action? And finally.....
4. What part of the country do you reside?? (Please don't say Lagos but if u do, tell me how that's not co-existence?) If Nigerians could go to other countries and mingle with them.. I don't see the difficulty in doing so in a yoruba or Igbo land..
1914 Amalgamation might have been a mistake, but who says we all don't stand to lose if Nigeria falls apart. Let's all work together to rid ourselves of the shite the white people have created for us.. It is doable.. Anyone who opposes can move back to their village. Nigeria does not have to split. If you say, you say Biafra or Oduwa is the way to go. No problem... Fly ur flags in your respective regions.. The Texans are kuku doing it. If the 1914 almagamation was a mistake then it should be corrected by de-almagation Unity is not forced |

whizpa: All those 'Biafrans' and Yoruba people spoiling for a fight have definitely not seen WAR in their lives. It is not something u wanna wish on ur enemy. If u keep this up, your generations will be the ones to suffer it. And, even if you're alive to see it, how many of you will pick up guns and lead the front line. Talk is cheap, my brothers. There's no book anywhere that says yoruba n igbo people can't live together in peace. It's a shame that some people's selfish motive is pitting us against eachother.
We can do better. If we spend enough time talking about how we will rebuild and rebrand Nigeria rather than arguing and lying to ourselves, we most likely would have done something positive..
No Igbo without yoruba and vice versa. U can't seperate the leg from the body if you want to move forward.
There are no bad tribes, just bad(selfish, corrupt and wicked) people. A peaceful coexistence is not farfetched. Give peace a chance. The two groups are not the same and have little to nothing in common 2 or more groups of people can only be united if they have a lot in common |

EggovinMma: Every adolescent Libran's fantasy is to find the Prince or Princess of their dreams. As their lives unfold, the experiences, false starts, dramas, broken hearts and disillusionment they encounter seeking this personal Holy Grail, often shapes their futures in the most extra-ordinary manner. Love and love-lost makes a big difference to the Libran although their often happy-go-lucky appearance against all kinds of odds may not reveal this as fact.
Librans can switch off from the world around then and during these periods much more occurs on the deep innermost levels of the Libran's psyche, than their closest companions imagine. Many Librans after establishing a lifestyle that somehow falls short of their childhood dreams, manage to conjure up a most independent life and keep up an image of being dedicated to a "close relationship". They can escape into obscure role playing - and often this makes them extremely successful business people. When it comes to romance and love, Librans can be difficult to fathom yet in business many Librans discover they can not only be creative, but it provides an opportunity to express the more diverse sides to their personalities. Their charm can win jobs and provides powerful friends. But in both work and play, looking for peace and harmony, Librans often say "yes" when they should be saying "no".
It is a sad fact about many a Libran's personal or business lives to say - many would have faired far better had they remained alone! But for those Librans who do find their secret dream and meet up with their Prince or Princess, that's another story! You'll find them living in some exotic, distant beautiful place, probably running the local bar or restaurant, designing the beach or ski gear, looking wonderful, sipping cocktails and finding life to be the total paradise they knew it could be. What Librans always have to remember when looking to fulfil their dreams is they should never undermine their own integrity and hold out until their dreams do come true - not simply take whatever is offered.
LOVE ME LIBRANS!! You messed your writeup by not doing the Libra sign properly THEY ARE THE BEST |

IbnSultaan: By Ogaga Ifowodo THE formal filing of charges against Senator Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, not to speak of the issuance of a bench warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court to take his plea, leaves him with only one honourable course of action: resignation in order to clear his name. The alleged offences impeach very seriously his character and integrity, qualities that no leader, if he or she is to enjoy the respect and confidence of his or her peers (as of the electorate) and be effective, cannot afford to have under any shadow of doubt. Certainly not in these hopeful days of change, the real manifestation of which the people await with bated breath. It is a serious thing to ask an “elected” official to resign his mandate, even though the office here is really only a privilege. Thus, in addition to my unqualified citizenship right to comment on matters of (urgent) national interest, I proffer, unbidden, further bona fides. I am a card-carrying member of the All Progressives Congress. Had I succeeded in my bid to represent the Isoko people in the House of Representatives, I would be Saraki’s colleague in the National Assembly. And I consider it a matter of honour and duty that Saraki resign from the office he occupies through means considered devious and unbecoming by almost everyone except those boxed into his Amen Corner. Mostly, though, I make this call as the natural step enjoined on Saraki by the lofty sentiments he espoused and urged on his fellow senators in his inaugural senate address. In just the first four sentences, Saraki had uttered the words honour, honoured, distinguished, respect, faith, trust, humility, responsibility, and duty, repeating “humility” and “honour” as if to be sure that we would notice

Great But someone who is like a messanger should be able to represent the people outside the shores of Biafra land The selecting of representative for the clans needs to adopt a method to which their rep emerges without voting Demorcracy system is made mostly for politicians Politicians are basicaly co-orperate legalised gangsters and thugs They know how to use their oratory as well as other mesmerising skills of theirs to bambosle the people into electing them The rep post is still a leadership post Leadership posts should not be by convincing the people on what you can do but rather by proving beyound reasonable doubt that you are the most qualified This can only be done by developing ways to test and examining the people who want to lead That way the true leader or rep will emerge No sentiments or prejudice just be the best and you will emerge at top cause the voting publics sense of judgement is not always right and can be affected by lots of things When this is done the people will not need to worry themselves about who will rep them the system like a well oiled machine automatically takes care of that |
