I guess this is a monitor lizard. Sometimes i wonder how a harmless creature that has survived against all odds in the wild to become this big is put to instant death because we sometimes think its our neighbour's familiar that has come to cause us harm.

Buhari (govt. smiley) better make moves to resuscitate our zoos and reward Nigerians who donate any impressive wild animal to the nearest zoo, thereby conserving wildlife. If the thing na winch, make he turn back to human being inside the cage for the zoo.

Very soon, we'll run out of strange things to kill in this country and start killing people that speak strange languages.
Monitor lizards are not harmless
They have lots of bacteria in their bite and of recents have been dicovered to also have venom in their bite
Snakes, monitor lizards and other reptiles cannot go extinct as long as you still have lots of bushes

PoliticsRe: Biafra Will Be Totally Different From Nigeria. Here's How! by theDEVILisHERE: 9:24am On Oct 10, 2015
Bottom line is
If Biafra wants to be ahead and champion a new type of civilisation
It has to propergate new systems and structure for virtually every aspect of life (social, economic, military etc) with authentic, original, indegenious ideas and formatts
With motivation and the right minset
THIS IS POSSIBLE
PoliticsRe: Biafra Will Be Totally Different From Nigeria. Here's How! by theDEVILisHERE: 9:05am On Oct 10, 2015
For the economy
Biafra should set up a new system both internally and externally devoid of the current globalist structure that has been set up to favour certain countries and organisations
An internal economic structure that is independent and suffient enough regardless of outside impact
An external economic structure that is much more balanced for them to be able to relate and trade with other nations
Things like monetery system, trade by barter (why must you always use money) and overall proper and balanced valuing of items/goods and services should be looked into
All this should be done with the aim of being independent of organisations such as IMF, opec, world bank (why carry your money and store it in foriegn countries) etc
Remember most African countries do not need these organisations (africa is supposed to be self sufficient, for goodness sake every thing needed is within) they actually need the african countries
PoliticsRe: Biafra Will Be Totally Different From Nigeria. Here's How! by theDEVILisHERE: 8:49am On Oct 10, 2015
Biafra should also aim at Enlightenment rather than education
Education is simply information programing which is aimed setting you up for a particular societal system (in the present case the current globalist structure)
Enlightenment is more about effienty getting the information to the people and making them fully understand it so they can use it at any point for their personal or societal development
Remember the key thing is EFFICIENTLY getting the information across to the people
What ever mean you employ to pass the information is should be efficient
It must not be through a standardised method like books/reading and writing, primary/secondary/university school systems or any other formatted style of giving out information
The Information is what the people need
Get it them by any faster, more effective and effiecient means

Are we still talking about science, or are we now into metaphysics? cheesy cheesy
Care to throw a little more light on this idea?
Lol
Still science but with a fresh method and an original idea
Think of it this way
Why must a vehicle or a craft be made of metal
Why must we also follow the industrial revolution developed methods of achieving efficient transportation
Remember the aim of transportation is to move from one point to the other
In otherwords
The means (cars, planes etc) is not important but the end (getting from point to point :quicker, safer and more efficiently) is the main issue
This type of out of the box thinking is what is actually needed propergate a fresh type of civilisation
Also note that it will be difficult for you to beat someone in his/her own games cause he/she has a better understanding of it than you since its something they created
Studing nature in its raw form as well as other indeginously manufactured idea throught history will give one an understanding of how to go about this
A mistake usually made inthis part of the world is that people will normally learn how the final product is made without going back to UNDERSTAND the evolutionary process of how the final product came to be
Understanding the evolutionary processes gives you more power and control over what your doing
In summary
WE NEED TO START IMAGINING AND CREATING THINGS THAT DO NOT CURRENTLY EXIST
Waiting for others to create before you copy will never get you ahead of them

I also think Biafra should come up with new type of vehicles and crafts for domestic, commercial, militaries movements on land, sea and air (why must it be cars, planes, trains, ships, helicopters etc)
These vehicles and crafts should be made with the aim of achieving simple (less cumbersome), effective (faster, more cordinated, easy to maintain) and most importantly SAFE way of moving people from one point to another
With an open, creative, artistic and imaginative mind based on original ideas and lots of out of the box thinking THIS IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE

I won't go into the details of the specific weapons that Biafra will seek to develop. I can say that Biafra will (in accordance with international law) not develop "weapons of mass destruction" be they nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons. We shall simply develop and deploy normal TNT. grin that stop the enemy the ability to win.

But, I am facinated by specific types of missiles; Crusie missiles in particular. I've always been facinated by them since gulf war 1 and have fallen in love with the great "Tomahawk" which I nicknamed "a.s.s kicker". grin

Our defense objective would be to deny the enemy the opportunity to effectively use WMDs against us.
Drones also facinate me; all types of them: air, water, underwater, very high altitude/edge of space, ... you get the point.
In these days when computers are highly evolved, building defensive weapons should not be too hard. One of such defensive weapon is the Israeli "Iron dome" -mainly software driven. So, we basically deny the enemy the chance to anihilate us, while remaining able to keep our land free of invaders.

I won't say more because I don't want to be misunderstood by anybody.
This thread is about How Biafra will be totally different from Nigeria.
In 55 years, Nigeria still has nothing remotely close to something that can defend against determined invaders.
So, in Biafra, we shall do it effectively.
This is a good and humane way of building defence caabilities for a nation
I belive every process can be reversed
Coming up with a way to counter or neutralise Weapons of Mass Destruction will be difficult but certainly not impossible
Also coming up with a basic weapon that is more effective and less cumbersome than a Gun is also possible
A part of the defence unit should be focusing on what weapons and defence systems are already on ground while another part should focus on weapons and defence systems that are not on ground or available anywhere in the world
The aim should be simple but very effective defence weapons and structure with a humane approach
The most important thing is to thinks outside the box
Even ancient crude ways of fighting should be re-examined with the aim of coming uP with an effective modern formula
Studing nature and its components (animals , plants) to come up with new formatts for both land, sea and arial fighting methods
Pioneering a new style that could be devoid of this soldier system the whole world is using

They are not to be underestimated for lack of education, their.wisdom prevails and is a counterforce that substitute well in absence of western lifestyles.

You did not understand this simple writing, so how did you conclude that SW is guilty of a commentary that went over and above your comprehension?
I understood what he said perfectly that is why I said what I said
The so called South east have always been aware of what the North are up to irrespective of how they are percieved (as backward and not smart like you said)
They have been consistent in always trying to checkmate them at every move
Its the so other so called South South and South West who either had not been aware or have not really tried to checkmate the so called North
The so called South South initially have been doing this out of naiveity (Majority are smarter now)
The so called South west on the other hand have always done this either out of naivety or plain conspiracy against the other so called South south and South East
Infact most of the time they are aware of what the North is up to but will still choose to conspire with them against the other so called South South and South East

One big mistake, those of us from the South South, South East and South West make, is to think that Northerners are bereft of ideas, and through this false beliefs we label them as cows, dunces, etc and this mistake is fuelled by the disparity in formal education. For the information of those of us from the South the North is prepared for any outcome of meetings, like that currently going on ibadan and in any other zones. It be a tactical error for us to think they have nothing up thier sleeves. Watching them from close quarter i have come to admire thier resilience, thier ability to think through, plan ahead and put to use the famous Boys Scout slogan "BE PREPARED".
One mistake the Christian South made during 2015 General Election was that Jonathan would sweep the middle belt, what happened from Benue, Plateau Kogi etc Jonathan lost not on the basis of Muslim unity but homogeneity of the Hausa language amongst Christians and Muslim. So much for those we call COW. Thier papers to re-integrate the North as one political and economic entity is already in place. The likes of Maitama Sule, Prof Ango Abdullahi, IGP Coomasie Junaid Mohammed and Young Turks out there are no uneducated zombies they are prepared. Where is south south in all this.
The mistake you said in your opening lines are made only by those in the so called South west
The so called South south have also made such mistakes previously
But the so called South east have always been consistent in their asertions towards the so called North
That is why they have always championed the course to opt of the fraudulent union called Nigeria

Sometime today I took a bike from Mararaba junction heading to Aso.
We've covered about 40% of the journey when I heard the "click click" sound of a broken chain. The okada guy stopped, inspected the bike and advised me to take another bike as his can't make the rest of the trip.

After a while, one okada guy came along,I waved him down and asked him to take me to my destination.
I informed him that I bargained 100 naira with the first dude so they should negotiate the price.
The first dude asked him to take 60naira and give him 40naira since he(new okada guy) will cover most of the distance.

The new okada guy just looked at the broken chain and said something in hausa which neither of us (both of us were Christians and southerners) understood.

But from his gesticulation I deduced he was asking me to give the whole sum to the first okada rider.
I demonstrated to him to be sure of what he meant and he nodded in affirmation. I was puzzled at this act of kindness and generosity especially because it was geared towards a different religion and tribe.
Thereafter, the Hausa, muslim okada rider took me to my destination without charge.

I put this little story up here to make you tribal and religious bigots understand something; Nigeria is not one, that may be true. But the division is not across ethnic or religious lines.
The boundary is between the thieving elites
and the suffering commoners.
That's why an Akpabio will be supporting a Saraki.

Jerusalem is one of the most divided and most bitterly fought-over cities in the human history. Both Jews and Arabs claim Abraham ancestry. Jerusalem is an ancient city that had been built and renovated by three principal civilizations, namely: Islam, Judaism and Roman/Greek Christianity.

It was a city under constant wars. Inevitably, those who could afford it emigrated. Some to other parts of the Roman Empire, other Arab states and others to Europe and beyond. Those who emigrated never lost their religion but those that returned after Hitler's extermination project were greatly adulterated Jews, i.e., not true-blooded by virtue of generations of mixed marriages and hazy connection to some obscure ancestry.

To day, being a Jew is synonymous with Zionism, influence, power and connection in international politics, economy, commerce and some say, global dominion because of their hold on America. This is why the Arabs are losing out and the Palestinians find themselves without their ancestral land.

As for biafra, I disagree because the restoration is in the internet and it takes more than a computer and online insults to do that!
Its obvious you are not ready to get to the truth of the matter
If you do you will be able to give insights to those simple questions I asked
Anyway
As much as ancient history is filled with lots of conquering and land grabbing activities
One thing is certain
Every city or town is and has always been established by a set of people
The people give the cities or towns names based on their indeginous languages which are often based on their understanding and relationship with the area in which this cities or towns are formed
Jerusalem, galilee, judea etc are all cities and town within the land of Isreal established by the various tribes of isreal
Remember Jerusalem is also nicknamed "the city of David"
Who is David
Is he not a one time king of isreal
The Arabs (no matter how closely related to the isrealites they are), the romans, ancient jebusites, philistaines etc did not establish those cities or towns
They have rather being constant invaders into those cities and towns at different periods of ancient history
The isrealites have always been invaded and taken into slavery (which was the order of the day during ancient times) at different points in ancient history
As much as this did happen they always returned to their land from exile
When they return they always rebuild their destroyed land and most of its important structures
Case in point the rebuilding of King solomons (remember king solomon is king Davids son) temple many times after their return
The medivial era was the last time they where invaded and disperse from their land of which many went into exile in europe and other parts of the world with the aim of not returning back
The constant persection in Europe which climaxed with the events of world war 2 made them to resolve to return back to their land with the determination never to be invaded and desparsed again
The process of returning back to their land made them to meet a situation already created by the descendants of the romans (spear headed by the diabolical vartican), the descendants of the philistines (present day palestinians) as well as the evil and demonic British (who had and still have a sinester plan with the situation they created)
With the situation on ground they had no option than to fight their way in back to their land
History is filled with lots of conspiracies and coverups
Are the current isreali's the true Isrealites
We cannot really say
But one thing is certain
The Arabs/Philistians (aka palestianians) have no right, I repeat NO RIGHT to claim that land because it does not belong to them
DON'T BOTHER ABOUT BIAFRA CAUSE NO ONE HAS THE POWER TO STOP IT'S RE-EMERGENCE

Boy, you are in serious need of history and religious lessons, which I will not oblige you because you are not configured to learn. Briefly, in 1400BC the Assyrians inhabited Jerusalem which they called Ursaliimmu.

It later changed hands and was occupied by the Jebusites who called it Jebus. During the times of the ancient Hebrew, they called it Salem. I told you that the biblical names of those places were mistranslated and were not Israelis names or language.

The above is just to enlighten you that what you read in the Bible is not to be taken literally. On the allegorical interpretation of the Bible there are already 4 different ways of understanding the bible. Yet you are making general and unspecific references to the Bible and asking questions.

Only an elementary child answers a question with a question! I now see that you are not worth it because dogmatism is in front of your learning ability. If you want to resurrect dead biafra from internet, you are welcome to spend your aimless dream online. You will know when you wake up!

My facts are not based on some nonsensical Roman configured book called bible
My facts are based on real history
Like I asked
Why are those cities/towns not answering their so called original names
If the names where changed
When where the names of those cities/towns changed and by who
Why was the al-aksa mosque built on a site where the already existing temple of solomon was
Arabic as a language originates from present day saudi arabia
Now how did it find it's way to prsent day isreal
Also where were the Isrealites living before they found themselves scarttered all over europe and other parts of the world
These are simple questions you are supposed to be able to answer if your facts are right

Boy, why do you want to make a fool of yourself on social medium with half-baked dictum and gibberish?

The name Bethlehem is called Bayt Lahm in Arabic, which means "House of meat". As far back as 1330 BC it was inhabited by Canaanites.
Galilee was called al-jalil in Arabic and Ha Galil in Hebrew. The Bible names for these towns were adulterations created by translators of the bible. You don't swallow the bible whole, sink, hook and line without question.

The Bible has four methods of allegorical interpretation: literal, anagogic, typological and tropological but an inept rookie like you will gorge at it gleefully. Further, if you believe that the Jews and Arabs were both descendants of Abraham, then your reference to Palestinians as occupiers shows the depth of your ignorance.

Without delving further into history of the Middle East or origins of the bible, suffice it to say that the Palestinians and Israelis have equal rights to the land within the 1967 borders. You only confound your ignorance by equating any of the references to these peoples as applicable to the ibos and biafra dream! They do not.

You cannot change facts
If the Arabs are the original owners of that land why is galilee not called Al-jalil
Also is the word Jerusalem arabic
Why is bethlehem not called beth-lyhm (or what ever that is)

Did they have arabic names too
If they did who changed them and when was that done
Have you asked yourself why the Isrealites (jew is just a tribe within isreal, tho their opperessor succeeded in using the term "jew" to brandish all of them) where scartered all over europe and the world over before 1940's
What do you think will make an indegenous set of people who should have a home be scatered all over europe and the world
They can only get scartered from somewhere
Now question is
Where did they get scartered from
Have you asked your self
How the arabs(babylonians) who originated from present day saudi arabia (know as babylon in the ancient times) found their way to the present day jerusalem and other places in isreal
How,when and why was the al-aksa mosque established where the temple of solomon is (remember solomon was a king of the isrealites)
Also who established those so called holy sites where those of the christain faith go to see about their pioneer yawhashwa (wrongly called jesus)
Also how did islam that was pioneered by a so called mohammed who originates from present day saudi arabia find its way to jerusalem

I dare say that Igbo men have married-out to more nationalities and tribes than any set of people (both men and women) in the world (even more than britsh, german and american men)
They are the most travelled set of men in the world and have married from a lot of those countries they travelled to
Usa, canada, mexico, brazil, jamaica and the carabians, many european countries, russia
Asian countries (china, japan, vietnam, thailand, taiwan, india etc) you name it
In Africa you can say they've married to at least 60% of the african countries
No set of African men even comes close to doing that
Even in nigeria
They've married out to more tribes than any set of Nigerian men
Hausa, fulani (this I know about), kanuri, some of the middle belt tribes, yoruba, edo tribes as well as their close relatives in the former eastern region (the so called south south)
So you see
Marring-out has not been a problem for them
It might be a small % of them that do this but it doesn't change these facts
Your statement about surviving change is very very very very laughable
NO SET OF MEN IN THE WORLD CAN SURVIVE CHANGE LIKE IGBO MEN
That's the reason they can travel to most parts of the world blend with the people, learn their language, do their business and other activities there and be successfull
So surviving change is the least of their problems
For the majority that don't marry-out you have to realise that
The Igbo genes/bloodline/culture is a strong one and the men are supposed to protect it
Also igbo women outnumber igbo men by quiet a lot so if they are not married by their men who are they surposed to marry
Nothing wrong with inter tribal/racial/country marriage
But it should not be encouaged
Let those who want to do it do it
The rest who choose not to do it should not be blackmailed, coarsed or made to feel bad for taking such a decision

...summary of your submission is to preserve the igboness, hence the unwillingness to marry non Igbo..to some extent this may be plausible
No
That's just one reason
There are others
Including those I talked about in the earlier post
One things is sure
They usually make firm decisions
Once they decide to marry anyone
They would
Regardless of what any one (relatives, community) would say
