There has not been a time in the last 20 years that the Nigerian economy has relied less on oil than now.

Our non-oil exports has reached record high, and the contribution of oil & gas to the external reserve has been less than 90% for several months. These days the naira doesn't even react to fall in crue oil price like in the past.

Why? Because under this government non-oil exports, including cocoa, fertiliser, Dangote refinery exports etc have exploded.

Since the President has not shown them any favouritism as they thought they would get under a Muslim Muslim ticket, they are suddenly economic critics. They think they can put the President under pressure.

Can you prove it that he doesn't care for the poor? This is the first time in a long time in Nigeria that inflation is contained during Christmas. Dangote reduced fuel to #740, airlines reduced their tickets, prices of food items are coming down. Rice is coming down amidst Christmas. People say prices don't come down in Nigeria but its happening now. All these without sending police or DSS after Dangote or the Airlines or retailers. Govt workers all over are not owed salaries. Super Eagles got their houses redeemed. One by one Tinubu is solving problems. While he has more to tackle , we can't deny the fact that his policies are bearing fruit. Atiku and Obi should not distract us from performance. We have a competent president after a long time.8
