tonero230:Without a 'Pay Slip' the onus is on you to prove you actually work for the company (transactions from the Coy to your account). Letter of Introduction is required from the company. Bank statement required is 3 - 6 months (whichever would support your application). Invitation letter is important, however make sure the inviting party is legally in the U.K. You'll also need the inviting partys' Utility bill, Data page. Note: I usually advise applicants on Business trips to stick to that. Hotel accommodation, Conference documents, Pay slip, Introduction letter, bank statements 3 - 6mnths and other supporting docs. |

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/nigeria/visas/53_1.aspx?lang=engFull Names, Passport details, Position and purpose of travel. Your gross earnings would not be a bad Idea though. All these must tally with what your letter of introduction says. |
DABeliever:You'll need an Activation code (From your Online banking or physically at the bank) to complete the process. |
extrovert6:U.K requirements remain same: However for a conference, your form would be business visitor. Has the conference been paid for? Is the conference related to what you currently do for a living? You'll need a letter of introduction from your employer. And other supporting docs. |
florencejo:All embassies encourage you not to purchase tickets before you receive your visa. The closest they'll need is just a reservation. |
Raahym:#ThinkLikeTheVisaOfficer @Raahym everything you've said shows you intend to run away. I can tell you the key denial points already: 1) Relationship to the inviting party 2) Financial circumstances 3) Ties back home 4) Travel history I suggest you start work first, get a bit of income then treat yourself to a holiday. |
pretts:Try hotels.com also. If this doesn't help, Google bed & breakfast + "which area in London you want to stay" |
tobey2ng:Mail the embassy: visa.lagos@fco.gov.uk Copy: visasheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk |
tonero230:The documents remain same for New applications and renewal: Valid Passport Completed Application form Bank statement Pay slip Accommodation And other docs that could 'Support' your application. |

@bigben - angel investor is NOT a type of venture capital, An angel investor or angel (also known as a business angel or informal investor) is an affluent individual who provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. Venture capital (also known as VC or Venture) is provided as seed funding to early-stage, high-potential, growth companies and more often after the seed funding round as growth funding round (also referred as series A round) in the interest of generating a return through an eventual realization event such as an IPO or trade sale of the company. To put it simply, an investment firm will give money to a growing company. The Network is a Network of Investment Clubs that focuses on just a few areas. We meet, scrutinise pitches and 2/3 majority agree on the proposals that we would invest in. The real problem is most Nigerians want to own 100% of their business even if they have nothing but the Idea. The truth is, it is better to own 5%- 10% of a business that kicks off than 100% of a business that is still on paper years after you got the idea. Send a mail to theforceworks@gmail.com and you would get details. Thank you |
i think the lady should Stop blaming Lesbianism for her predicament. If it were a guy fundling the bosses daughter, he may have gotten the same treatment. its just more disgusting that it was a girl on girl move, |
I do think there are venture capitlists in Nigeria. The real problem would be if the business plan is well written, thought out and if the projections are factual. Many enterprenuers pitch unrealistic targets and get investors in a lot of trouble. What some people need are actually Angel Investors and not Venture Capitalists (Google the difference). We have just formed a network of Angel Investors and would be looking at investing between 2million and 5million depending on Projections and maturity Return on Investment Pull - out options / escape route Sector - Agro allied, manufacturin, real estate e.t.c Risk factors Send a brief summary with FULL CONTACT DETAILS TO theforceworks@gmail.com |
Its been like that for years, When travelling on a 'virgin' passport, just be bold be truthful and know your onions. Always call the officers name and let him know you, know press men. As long as you are sure of your docs. |

Any airline can fly into USA from Nigeria as long as the Aircraft is not registered in Nigeria. However, if the MMIA is rated CAT 1 by the American Aviation experts, then Nigerian registered aircrafts can then fly. What this means is that any airline that wet-leases an aircraft can fly to america as long as the two Governments agree on frequency. |
Hi, It starts at about 80k for the small airlines and as high as 150 - 250k for the larger ones. Inclusive of night stop allowances and the risk allowances. Some offer other benefits also. |
Na wah oh! is this how online stuff works in Nigeria? However, you could have told us about an aero experience to see if it was better. And i know for a fact that it is hard all over the world to book same day flights cause most times it alters calculations. Imagine driving to the airport and then booking and paying and checking in online for a flight that is boarding (imagine 10 people together) it would definately alter calculations. I have also experienced filling forms online, that due to connection, i may pick a date and the next date actually shows. Its is the 'Devil of the mouse'. Just redo the request or can i say read the details of the flight, time, correct name spelling, correct amount and all before payment. You cannot say you did not get a page that had all your details. And you eventually confirmed. I am doing a survey now on all airlines in nigera to see the one that has the best online - booking, payment and possibly check in system |
Holla, Would send you my details once i have your email address. I'm based in Lagos but been to over 20 states in Nigeria |
May be that was the "Phylosophy" he STUDIED! Imagine studying a course for 4-5years and killing the name! INCREDIBLE!! |
Pretty simple, A lot of trading companies over in Dubai that can help you with that. What they do is invite and apply on your behalf. They hardly issue tourist visas, but of course they know that everyone is a tourist. It is valid for about 14days and costs between 160 and 200 dollars. Nice place to visit been there, holla c.adebayo@yahoo.com for any other question |
@ tipsy, You are insured even if you do ot pay the "Travel Insurance " online. Every traveller is entitled to compensation in the event of a mishap. However, with travel insurance, you can claim up to $1,000 for flight delays, cancellation, and even baggage misplacement. All these you can hardly claim without travel insurance. Ask and it shall be told onto you! |
