PoliticsRe: Fashola Tells Jakande, Others To Go To Court by theforce(m): 11:29pm On Jun 20, 2009
The fruit they say never falls far from the TREE!

@ Sky Blue, sorry you feel that way. That i am not objective? Well as a Lagosian, i have the right to be unimpressed by the media freezy that goes with the so called BRF. Whose brighter rewarding future if i must ask? The answer? Their children, and childrens children. The so called imporved Tax situation in Lagos is feeding the Consultant silly!

I have never and will never equate Lagos with any of these small states, not on the same level at all. There is so much potential , i cant believe the slow pace of work. Just two years? What ever happened to the continuity that was constantly preached during campaign.

Well so we see am

Alas the MYTH called "Brighter Rewarding Future"?
Its becoming constantly evident that politicians are always going to be the same.
As Tinunbu put a never drying Money well "Oando / Gaslink" on ground before leaving,
He added another in BRF , which is being solidified by the recent Pay me what you pay your self bill,
How different is he from Adedibu, Do we realy believe that the AC and PDP are different?

PDP is only an easy target due to its size, the truth is that all the partiesa are the same.
Infrastructure is dead in all states INCLUDING LAGOS!

BRT you may ask? For a state with as much Population and Internaly generated revenue, it is sad to use
1. Grass and flower
2. One route (Ikorodu - CMS) bus system
3. Oshodi clearing

To justify a GOOD JOB on his part!

Lagos earns internally more that many west african countries but the difference is clear still. Have you seen some of the schools in Lagos, students on the floor in class, 3 classes in one room 3 schools occupying facilities for one.
The praise singers are just jokers , i pray our eyes are open to the truth, THE WHOLE TRUTH
TravelRe: Emirates Airline Paints Nigeria Bad On Their Website by theforce(m): 1:50am On Jun 17, 2009
You all dont know the half of it i guess,
In the airport, besides the fake officials, the real officials also play their part,
Quarantine would tell you cant take this or that,
Customs would tell you , that you need clearance,
Fan Officials would ask you for what they know nothing about,
NDLEA would ask you to go to IKOYI to get clearance "That your are not carrying DRUGS"
Immigrations would skin you alive with requrests, Especially if you are flying with a new PASSPORT,

On Airport road there are many pot holes, And regularly FUEL scarcity,
One could get mugged at OSHODi,

They only said the truth
FamilyRe: Why Do Poor People Have So Many Kids by theforce(m): 12:02am On Jun 17, 2009
An angle that we all havent looked at is RELIGION!!
I've got a neighbour that stays in a single room apartment,
And wait for it, "HE HAS 8 CHILDRED"!!

The man is not 40 yet and the wife is less than 30years old!
My aunt asked him once and he said they were from GOD!
That his religion does not support contraception and family planning,

I also know a man that is very popular too,
He is into T.V presentation, educated and has a single wife, 10 children
The wife was asked to leave her bank job because she was always taking Maternity Leave,
Year in year out,

Both are more tied to religious than illiteracy reasons,

TravelRe: Is Virgin Nigeria Fraudulent? I Cant Understand Their New Tactics by theforce(m): 11:17pm On Apr 19, 2009
@ Guk you seem widely travelled so you are making sense.

@ Kolly, what happens with such a scene that one gets 36k quoted and a few minutes later, you are asked to pay 32k is simple. while the agent may have checked the price on the system and seen 36k, someone may have lost his or her booking (32k) during your arguement or on your way out and he noticed it and decided to call you back to come have it.

The truth is that in this modern day and age, no one can make you pay more than what is written on your ticket

SportsRe: John Mikel Obi Is Far Overrated! by theforce(m): 2:48am On Jan 19, 2009
Highly overated this Mikel of a boy,
He is just a pedestrian when Chelsea plays.
We have other Defensive midfielders in the premiership that hold their own.
You can see them,
The likes of Jermain Jenas, Andersen and even Hargreaves when fit.
He does not seem to intelligent on the Ball most times.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Oceanic Bank To Virgin Nigeria: Worth It? by theforce(m): 12:57am On Mar 13, 2007
vna work is 24hrs, you work about 15days a month 12hrs a day for 2 days, and then 2 day of, 12hrs a night for 2 nights and then 2 days off,

it can be fun, but the pay aint spectacular, but travelling is easier, and you have quite an amount of time to your self, and if you look at it from the angle that it is just about 2yrs old, the sky is your beginning in the organisation,

Yea right what eslynera? Just started with them last month and that was exactly what i did at the test venue.

The mistake that i believed people made was to dwell on some questions, well i may not be right, but it worked for me.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Virgin Nigeria Test What Should I Expect by theforce(m): 2:32am On Nov 09, 2006
Just expect the normal GMAT questions. But the trick is do the ones you know as fast as possible.

Never dwell on the ones that take time!!
Jobs/VacanciesAre You Unemployed Or Underemployed? by theforce(op): 2:40am On Oct 15, 2006
Are you Unemployed or Underemployed?

I want to know how many people are Underemployed and how many are unemployed. The problem in this country has to do with both of them. So for those that were Underemployed, if you move to a bigger firm, you can send details of the job you did to those that are Unemployed.

I am currently switching from a Medium(between 250 & 500staff strenght) sized firm to a Larger one by Monday (over 1,000 staff strength).

The job is in the "Customer Care" category. I cannot post the email of the HR officer but i can receive your C.V via mail and subsequently send to him (as a favour). my email is c.adebayo@yahoo.com

Gbasso,
In all things put God first, Not your 2:1, There are 3rd classs graduates working with glo!! Secondly, what course did you get your first class in? What other skill do you have? I.E. Computer / IT, Project Mgt, Report writting etc.

How do you carry yourself at these interviews? How is your spoken English?

Many factors could be limiting your success, but i know you are just a phone call away from that job you desire!

Roscco,
You just took the words out of my mind. I already have a fool proof plan of action that would turn all what the business schools thought the economists.

As an information broker, i have been in the field for a while and my plan of action is already set for implementation. The funds which i had been expecting has finally arrived. If you need to partner on this, you can just send me a mail.

lloyd,
I am very impressed at your attitude to the response you got from nairalanders, It shows that you are trully set for greatness.
That you heard people talk about the would be test before had would only have been due to the fact that the test started late and those that came early may have told their others what it was like.
However, it is one thing knowing what you would be asked on the computer and another thing doing it within the time frame.
What they set out to get was SPEED and ACCURACY.

You are destined for greatness,

BusinessRe: Will A Large Supermarket Thrive In Nigeria? by theforce(m): 3:33am On Aug 27, 2006
Well with the opening of PALMS shopping mall / SHOPPRITE in Lagos, it shows that Nigerians (or should i say Lagosians) are ready for mega supermarkets like walmarts.

Your idea about moving to Abeokuta before Abuja is where you baffle me. With the sort of investment you intend to put into this, the economy of Abeokuta may not be ready yet for this (Although the town is fast growing).

I think you should Start this way Lagos-Abuja-Abeokuta

Chief,
May be our financial system is not perfect yet. The truth is some organisations are ready to finance you even to the tune o 4 times what you are asking. My brother just went to a community bank(I dont want to advertise) and got a cool 1,000,000 naira loan.

The secret? THE NUMBERS!! Get yourself a well written Business Plan. Do projections and analysis. Let people know the ups and downs, profit and loss, Government policy, advantages disadvantages. You never know even i may be interested in the business (i should be liquid to the tune of 500,000naira by the end of September). Just put your numbers in order.
