Can someone please do justice to my question?
Thanks |
Ugaboy:Alright, now I get you sir. Let me sit back and here from others before coming to a conclusion. |
RealLordZeus:Sorry about that brother. The more reason I got confused was simply because there was a time back then when I had a gpa of 4.599 and my course adviser rounded it up to 4.60 gpa, till today, I'm still wondering why he did that even tho it's a gpa and not a Cgpa. This border kind of CGPA is actually a very annoying thing. I could feel the sadness in his voice too. But I still need answers to pacify him. He said he wants it be 4.3. |
Ugaboy:Please I don't understand you |
RealLordZeus:Ye ofcourse, if it's less than 3.495, then no need to round up to two decimals. But this case is different, it's 4.299 not just 4.29. |
A cousin of mine just got himself confused about his CGPA He checked his result and found out he has 4.299. He asked if it could be rounded up as 4.3 In his school transcript, they use two decimal points system which I feel is same for every school. Now the question is, Is it also a 4.3 Cgpa in his transcript or still 4.299?? I could have answered him, but I didn't have a Cgpa that is at a border like this very one. ![]() House please let me know what you think. NB: Mathematically, rounding up 4.299 to two decimal place is 4.30 but I know this may not apply to CGPA. |
Leave her and go your Way. you've tried |
illicit:Please why not Proffer possible solutions and ideas to the problems, who knows, the Mods will up their games. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:That's the more reason we need Very interesting threads that comes with laughter and happiness to cheers us up and take out minds away from the Saddening news about Corona, killings, rape and the likes. This should always end a front page for a day. So you can go to sleep happy |
I remembered when I first got to know about Nairaland, it's about 10years ago. I only got to see what it looks like through my elder brother's phone, I didn't even know what it was all about. All I knew was that he was always talking about Nairaland. He must surely be among the great grandfathers here on this forum. Later on in the years, I visited the forum indirectly by Google search engine and I didn't care to know anything more than what I was searching for. Along the line, I even forgot that there was a Forum called Nairaland. Around 2014 or so, he finally got my attention to a particular news on Nairaland that I found so very interesting (I won't mention the news, cos my bro may see it ). I was thrilled on seeing such a very interesting news. That was the day my Nairaland adventure started. That day I was full of joy and regretted not knowing much about Nairaland earlier on. Believe me, even till today Nairaland had been one of the best things thats ever happened to me. It was like another world on its own. Topics on the front page were so interesting that no day will go by without me coming to Nairaland to see the front page. I get mad and unfulfilled anyday I don't get to visit Nairaland maybe because of Data or for some other reasons.Let me make my point. Here I am today, although with another of my account, after all these years with sadness in my heart. I have to say this and I don't want any moderator to see this as an Insult or ungratefulness from a top fan. Honestly Nairaland in the last few months haven't been like the Forum I love back then. I remember the wonderful stories coming up towards the ending of the night. When I'll have to pick up my phone and say to myself "let me explore another world". I mean I just looked at the front page and I became dissappointed( at the time of typing this). It's filled with sad stories that could make one become very sad. No post or thread to make one laugh or fantasize of good things and a happy world that is far from this wicked world. Please this is from a very ardent member of this Forum. It's constructive and not an Insult or a bad remark. Nairaland had stood the test of time, but let the Moderators not the Founder not forget the ancient land marks that made Nairaland what it is. Thanks a lot, "Nairaland? I love it" |
Good Morning good people of Nairaland and the Engineers here present. Please I want to Format my iPad cos it's locked and I can't remember the password. I've seen a YouTube video on how to format it, but I don't know which software I need to have in my PC so as to complete the Formatting. Please what PC software is used for Flashing an iPad (Apple)? Thanks as I await your answers. |

First Class was everyone's wish. I wished for it back then too, but I couldn't get it, tho I graduated as the best student in my class. Most of my friends who are first class don't really have much to offer aside their knowledge of books. They've got no Skills, there most times are spent only in their class books. I know one in her final year who doesn't know how to operate a computer. If not that I advised her, she would have regretted her first class cos it's obvious that school didn't pass through her. I did my best back then to have graduated top of my class and I am very good at the following skills; Microsoft Office (Excell, Word, PowerPoint etc) Programming language (Python) Css, HTML, xhtml Graphic Design(Corel Draw, Photoshop, etc) Crypto currency trading and investment Matlab and Scilab. etc. pls if you're an undergraduate and you have a first class I beg you to learn all the skills above. If you're also not on first class, I'll advise you also learn them. They help to augment or complement your Grade. Graduates are not left out too. I'll end this by saying that a First Class Student with no skills has nothing much to offer aside the knowledge of his class books. |

That was back in my 200lvl. Gosh, I'll never forget how that girl wasted my time as a student. Time I could have used to study more. Omo, the thing still hurts o. Even after all these years, I have tried not to but I can't just help but hate her. She gave me so much to remember that's why she always comes to mind. Mehn the more I try to think Good of her, the more I hated her. |
I Used to love a girl so much. I call her almost everyday, but she never called back except for flashing lols, not even once cos she found out how I foolishly loved her. Since 200level to 400 level it continued that way. I asked her out, but she never said yes. Why is she rejecting me? she will tell me we can't date and give no reason. She will be forming Church girl, but still allows me to smooch her almost every evening. But she won't allow us do the real act. She later told me she was a virgin, but I doubt it. Later on I stopped talking to her and decided to quit cos I felt she wasted my time. That's why today, I can never love(I.e if at all I still have that atom of love) one girl only, I spread it among so many girls. I can't be broken anymore cos my heart is now like a stone and yes this very girl made me have sense but I still hate her till today. She wasted my time for nothing as a student back then. |
Mehn this Lockdown has really exposed things I didn't know. your wife is even a learner where my elder sister is. OMG she can talk for Africa. Yes I don't have problem with her talking, but what annoys me most is the fact that she wants you engaged in the talking. God, every seconds she is asking you this or that and when u don't answer? she tends to verbally abuse u. it's so annoying, I can relate |

See Brother man, listen and listen carefully! Let her go! I mean it, let her go! I repeat let her go! This is the one reason Sir Elton John sung a song that reads *Daniel My Brother.....do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal?* Brother you see this kind of scar. It can Never heal. Believe me, it will still hunt you or her. It will forever be a pain that can't heal. One day it's either he is coming to her or she is going to him for one reason or the other, It must Happen. Also believe it or not, this thought of her past will Always hunt you for as long as you're with her. I repeat let her go! A word is enough for the wise. |
Ithream:Sir please help this guy. I noticed he has been here since. I beg on his behalf |
