smileyoo: but the irony of it all, is that even when the criminals had voluntarily confessed to the alleged crimes, they will still be protecting them, and any society that the system is always protecting the criminals, crimes and criminalities are always daily occurrences.
You mean even when the "suspects" have voluntary confessed.
Yes, You are correct.
But even some "voluntary confessors" have been known not to be the actual criminals, they "confessed" to protect someone else, like their child or spouse whom they love, or a boss/benefactor who settles them or their family.
These are some reasons why the principles of "innocence until proven guilty" and "fair hearing" are important.
smileyoo: Why are they covering their faces ? they were not ashamed when they were committing their shameful atrocities, moreover they have no more any integrity to protect.
Because “Innocent until proven guilty”
Because just for the mere fact that someone, media, police or even a purported confession says they are guilty, does not mean they are truly guilty
Even 100k I will take over Adeboye’s prayers. I will pray for myself. Let Him use his energy to finish praying for Nigeria and other gullible Nigerians.
Gistmedia10: A resident of Lekki, Lagos Island, has taken to social media to share his struggles with water scarcity in the upscale neighborhood. In a video that has quickly gone viral, the man shows about 1000 bags of water he claims to use daily for bathing.
Standing beside a massive pile of sachet water bags, commonly known as "pure water" in Nigeria, the man explains his predicament: "This is my daily routine.
Lekki, despite its reputation for luxury and high property values, suffers from significant infrastructure issues, with water scarcity being a major concern. Many residents, like the man in the video, are forced to purchase sachet water due to unreliable municipal supply.
As one who grew up (childhood and teenage years) on the island (1004). And as one who lived there until 2009 (Lekki 1/ Argungi) I can tell you that the first thing I hate about living in that axis is the water. The smell, the taste and how it affects stuff
Yugoslavia247: The youth burnt the property in reaction
Many people comment like they are from UK
If you stayed in some village you will understand.
There are villages where success of your child can be his end.
Anyone who buys a car must be spiritually strong or he will die.
You can not build a storey building
Wickedness and evil abound in many communities.
Some families are dealing with evil uncles and witches.
However, the thing is if the man is truly guilty and if the prophet is accurate. I'm
All of you that quoted me. I dare you to mention your village and how long you lived among the people. You were raised in the city by your parent who were scared to take you home. You finally forget.
You think some families are poor because they dont work hard. Not to undermine natural occurrence but some are under a spell.
For instance i am telling you from experience.. Most of you can not even deal with physical enemies. Now imagine they are spiritual.
I am not for or against the youth.
Yall you just keep shut. Educated olodos
Ok. Congratulations to you for being raised in the village.
natedensel: Is it just me or it's same with other guys, the embarrassment I feel is as if I'm the one doing something embarrassing, and I can't help the feeling, because of that I shy away from buying foodstuff or other stuff that will make me bargain.
Most times I ask my sisters or girlfriend to accompany me so she can do the bargaining or get the stuff for me.
My older brother bargains alot like he can't do without bargaining and for that I avoid going anywhere with him.
Incase you're wondering how I survive without bargaining, I just use people close to me when its something I must bargain for, but if it's something like clothes, I know the standard price for stuff like that so I just make an offer, and for basic things like packaged groceries I buy from supermarkets in more than one quantity.
Maybe you should feel embarrassed for feeling embarrassed that anybody (Man or Woman) is trying to get a bargain
Meliziz: Hmmm I don't know how I will say it and the Igbos will understand, that given the next second no average Yoruba man ever likes anything Igbo. Igbo Hausa and Yoruba ain't ever created to live in the same country. They hate us and we hate them. This contraption has to end for us to even see any glimpse of light.
It’s the ignorant, illiterate , poor minded, poor and retrogressive ones among them.
But among the progressive minded at the elite they are political , business and social partners.
Coming online to stigmatise a part of the country unprovoked but you will still be the one to accuse others of hating you.
What exactly makes you think that you Igbos are better than anyone?
Whatever you feel about His post, you cannot deny the fact that it is the North that is dragging Nigeria back in all critical Indices of development
Poverty, Insecurity, Education, Health etc. Go and check the statistics. The main reason Nigeria is poor, uneducated, insecure and unhealthy is the north. It doesn’t mean northerners are bad people.
Not surprised. Borno is a hotbed for such. Is that not the VPs state? A state that He governed for 8 years, then “Senated” for 4 years. See where they are. And you really believe he can have a grand vision for Nigeria Ok
Meanwhile, someone said the BAT picked Him cos He did not want issues with BH boys? What do you think?
Anyway, Only the poor, destitute, deprived and uneducated people will fall for this so called call to Islam , which is actually a call to terrorism. In the name of Islam.
