Is it just me or it's same with other guys, the embarrassment I feel is as if I'm the one doing something embarrassing, and I can't help the feeling, because of that I shy away from buying foodstuff or other stuff that will make me bargain.

Most times I ask my sisters or girlfriend to accompany me so she can do the bargaining or get the stuff for me.

My older brother bargains alot like he can't do without bargaining and for that I avoid going anywhere with him.

Incase you're wondering how I survive without bargaining, I just use people close to me when its something I must bargain for, but if it's something like clothes, I know the standard price for stuff like that so I just make an offer, and for basic things like packaged groceries I buy from supermarkets in more than one quantity.

Maybe you should feel embarrassed for feeling embarrassed that anybody (Man or Woman) is trying to get a bargain

Hmmm I don't know how I will say it and the Igbos will understand, that given the next second no average Yoruba man ever likes anything Igbo. Igbo Hausa and Yoruba ain't ever created to live in the same country. They hate us and we hate them. This contraption has to end for us to even see any glimpse of light.

It’s the ignorant, illiterate , poor minded, poor and retrogressive ones among them.

But among the progressive minded at the elite they are political , business and social partners.

What exactly makes you think that you Igbos are better than anyone?

Whatever you feel about His post, you cannot deny the fact that it is the North that is dragging Nigeria back in all critical Indices of development

Poverty, Insecurity, Education, Health etc. Go and check the statistics. The main reason Nigeria is poor, uneducated, insecure and unhealthy is the north. It doesn’t mean northerners are bad people.

Not surprised. Borno is a hotbed for such. Is that not the VPs state? A state that He governed for 8 years, then “Senated” for 4 years. See where they are. And you really believe he can have a grand vision for Nigeria Ok

Meanwhile, someone said the BAT picked Him cos He did not want issues with BH boys? What do you think?

Anyway, Only the poor, destitute, deprived and uneducated people will fall for this so called call to Islam , which is actually a call to terrorism. In the name of Islam.

The Rice and Beans we are eating in my house now is the one we bought since February. And we don’t have any business buying rice, beans or many other things till end of first quarter next year.

I am grateful for provision , for the wisdom of bulk buying and a wise Wife who knows how to manage resources and make it happen.

The next level now is growing and rearing my own staples . Tomatoes, peppers, Spinach, Ugwu, Banana, Plantain, Catfish, Chickens ,Eggs, Etc.

I have started. Have you?

This house is for future vice president. So 21 billion is not too much. Tinubu personal house in Lagos is more than 21 billion. Let us forget politics and appreciate.

As logical as this argument sounds, it is not necessarily valid.

The houses that run into billions in Nigeria are less so for thier building costs and more so for the Land and location costs.

21 billion is a lot to complete a non high rise building in a location where land is not being paid for.

So it is a cardinal rule to complete projects, not because they are important or urgent , but merely because they were started.

By thier argument, simply because money has already been spent on something means you should spend more money on it. Even if it has no real immediate or priority value.
Religion / Re: Building Razed By Fire In Port Harcourt, As Women Pray For The Fire To Stop by TheGift: 5:19pm On Jun 07

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:21-22)

Jesus also reiterated it again

Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. (Matthew 18:19-20)

and again

Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25)

and again

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14)

and again

(Matthew 17:20 For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.) then whatever you ask for in prayer will be granted

Yes, and faith without works is still dead.

There is a reason why neither
Jesus nor his disciples went about ordering mountains to move into seas or fig trees to wither.

Miracles do not absolve us from personal responsibility or the use of our God given faculties.

Clearly the beef has been brewing for a while as a remote cause, but the immediate cause was triggered by the Wife of the murderer. And She was the same person that came to pull her husband away after he was possessed by the madness she instigated.

Women are good being violent with their mouths but will run once they see the real violence of the hands.

Oh please, we're not monsters who attack innocent civilians out of the blue! We only target terrorists who are itching for a fight.

And let's be real, those terrorists are like pesky little kids who hide behind their mom's skirt (innocent civilians) to throw tantrums (perpetrate their acts). And then, boom! The mom (innocent civilians) gets caught in the crossfire! So, let's place the blame where it belongs - on the terrorists who use human shields to cover their tracks.

None even the Israelites and Palestinians who ultimately came from the same Father, cannot tell you exactly where the animosity started.

Some of us are just analyzing it from October 7th, 2023 , meanwhile all of these started centuries before anyone of us in existence was born.
