Please has anyone done or applied for a visiting visa for a family of 6? Please how did you go about it, in terms of the actual application on the IRCC website and the documentation? Will there be six different applications or two for the parents and the kids will be attached to the parent’s application?
Then for the documents, can they be merged into the usual IRCC document upload buckets and the same documents attached for each applicant (since it will already contain al the information IRCC will require anyway).

I’m new to the forum.

Please my sister’s Medicals expired while her PR application was still being processed. She proceeded to do her upfront Medicals and submitted via webform. Couple of weeks later, IRCC sends her a mail to provide some additional documents and re-doing her Medicals is part of it.

Since she already did the Medicals, she just re-attached it and submitted. IRCC is yet to update her profile with the new Medicals.

Please what can we do to ensure that they receive and acknowledge it?

You can arrive at anytime in as much as the visa is valid. Mind you, if it is a tourist visa, you need to make some adjustments to travel plans vis a vis hotel booking, places of tourist attractions etc

Please is it possible to arrive Canada before the “expected travel date” stated on your visa application form? For instance, if in the form, you said your travel period is June 25th to Aug, is it possible to arrive, maybe, June 10th?

I used the document list on the portal.
I also attached the PR card of my husband and me, our utility bill, bank statements, employment letters, payslips and letter from our OBGYN. My mum also had travel history to the US so that may have helped?

Wanted to post the timeline for my mum’s visitors visa application

Application submitted - January 19 2022
Biometrics done and completed - January 25 2022
Passport request - February 21 2022

I am a PR and applied for my mum.

Please does IRCC notify you before they commence reviewing your eligibility or you’ll have to keep checking your profile to know when eligibility review has started?
