Black Superman looks kinda interesting to me. Just wanna see how they go about it.

But it definitely not replacing my Cavill. Henry is my one and only Supes. More Cavill supes movie is needed. Black supes and Cavill can live in separate universe or can be in same Universe so far they can perfectly write it well.

Anyways, I still think Cavill is still supes. WB is just sour from that headless scenario and are yet to figure out what they wanna do with him. When they're sure I think Cavill will be back.

If they want to do a black Superman, they have to explore his origin very well. I think Val zod or whatever his name is, has a different origin from kal el.

Netflix continues to fail in the superhero genre, where the likes of the boys and invincible has succeeded.

I know they have umbrella academy, but that show is just okay, not great.

Netflix superhero fails so far;

*We can all be heroes (good but for children)
*Thunder force (Make I no just talk my mind for this one)
*Jupiter's Legacy

The old wb execs messed up big time. All they thought about was their bonus before the ATT deal was done.

Did Henry do anything to warrant a forgiveness from WB?

When Henry refused to cameo in Shazam leading to the headless superman issh.

According to a source on twitter, WB sees it as one of their biggest embarrassing moments.

So last week, boss logic was tweeting "Hope" based on Superman and his "s" hope symbol.

Does this mean we are still getting Henry as Superman? Does this still mean that the Snyderverse will be restored?

For now, nobody knows but we should keep the hope flag flying.

Maybe, something big will be announced at DC fandome.

PS: I just want Henry back as superman biko.

Make WB/WM or whatever just forgive Henry and let's get him back as Supes

Read and read rightly, WB is not moving away from Zack's vision because of returns rather they are doing so because they feel they have found the right formula... That's my own understanding.

Several posts hyping up ZSJL has been posted here to the extent that there was a very small rift between ZSJL and TFAWS series, but you will never see smuag shook mouth when the heated argument starts to defend ZSJL or any DC related stuff.

See the way you hyped and defended ZSJL on the movie section, yet it was not seen or appreciated, but all of a sudden, somebody will just come out of the blues and say that people are making fun of it or hating it or the numbers.

People should grow up. There's life outside NL, twitter or anything Zack or DC related.

WB/DC/Disney/D+ or whatever doesn't give a f*ck.

People should learn to live their normal lives and be happy.

So you think WB will not recoup their $70m invested on ZJL and also make 2-3x of it...! WB is just being stubborn to move forward with it, not the returns they are looking at.
If it was the returns then WB won't go ahead with the Shazam's sequel, cause it didn't make better returns, likewise Bird of Prey when you factor how foreign box office numbers (monies) are being split. Aside the premier week, Cinemas owners' % keep rising from the second week and eventually nothing or minor % will be apportioned to the movie studios. This means, more than half Shazam's foreign numbers was shared by film house (cinemas). I implore you to do the maths yourself.
To me, I feel WB thinks they have found a formula in Shazam, Bird of Prey and WW84 since these movies were critically certified fresh by RT.

Nobody here has said that WB/WM won't recoup their $70m investment in ZSJL. Or can you provide the posts saying such? I can guess that the answer is no.

A lot of superhero movies/tv shows are using Zack's cinematography. This shows what I have been saying all along.

If Zack can work on his movie run time and get his viewers to have that emotional feeling to his movies, he will be the number 1 director and all movie studios will be begging to have him.

Zack is just too good with his casting and cinematography.

PS: The extra footage in ZSJL was shot at the back of his house. The guy is too good abeg, but can improve to be the best

Ok fine. But ZSJL numbers outside US are also posted here regularly. Just that US HBOMax gains wider popularity or distribution.

Cos it's mainly HBOMax US numbers WB are focused for now and not spectacular numbers boosting third party distributors internationally.

Imagine all the positive details about the ZSJL that has been posted since how many weeks, na the view for china that doesn't really count because of the metrics used.

See details of the metrics used in counting the 250M views, then you wonder why WB/WM are still unfazed about china result.

Hopefully, HBO go, Bluray or 4K purchase is a deciding factor here. However, there's small rumour that restore the snyderverse is still happening.

ZSJL had x2 of WW84 engagement on HBOmax.

If this is true, there is no way they will ignore the Snyderverse

The boys is a rip-off of DC Justice league and the director used Zack's cinematography style. However, invincible, yet another DC Justice league rip-off, didn't get inspiration from Zack. That's how the comic book is.

Netflix already has a superhero franchise they're building on. The MillarWorld— pivoted on the works of Mark Millar in the comics Industry. Netflix even bought his comics company and the distribution rights to adaptation. Netflix now owns the company.

In fact, this month May 7 Netflix is debuting it's Big superhero investment— Jupiter's Legacy.
It kinda looks or feels like The Boys or Invincible.

There are a host of shows and movies in various stage of development in the MillarWorld, starting with Jupiter's Legacy.

Netflix have tried with several trashy superhero movies like thunder force, or cheap ones like "we can all be heroes".

The need to get some more cbm from dark horse comics etc imo.
