Oya, SJ is about to sue Disney's azz for the same hybrid release for BW. Take note that if SJ is suing, then the director of the movie too can sue as it wasn't part of their contract.

if you go back to 2017/18 on this thread I was part of the people blaming Snyder cos I believed WB hook line and sinker, Thekingishere and tonyspike were the few people trying to let us know how things were so I can relate bruh

Is it great VFX that makes great shows

Did Daredevil have better VFX than Arrow? But it attracted positive buzz and a lot of fans didn't it?

I just finished watching Pennyworth season one finale and I must say that the show is one of the best comic book shows, the story is so engaging and keeps you at the edge of the seat.
It's a great show.

I can't give two fvcks about VFX. I just want a good show.

Pennyworth is amazing and it's a lot better than the overrated Marvel's FATWS.
VFX be damned.

Superman and Lois nko?
HBO Max collaborated with CW and delivered a great and relatable Superman show but no it's not good enough for some people because of the VFX which is not bad at all.

They want high budget kpish kpish, no problem.
Green Lantern show was given a heavy $100m+ budget, Justice league Dark is expected to be big budget as well, Peacemaker is almost done filming.

As for me I just want to see a great show.

The same CW shows have been raking huge profit for the studio.

Right now, Superman and Lois show has broken record for being the very first CW show to be nominated for a critics award.

I think part or a major cause of the problem is this:
WB are now overdependent on DC to deliver the goods in the box office. DC is the only surviving big franchise still in the game now and able to do billion dollars pull over.

No LOTR, no Harry Potter~ Fantastic Beasts is underperforming and too sparse release. Look at other studios. Conjuring is still a midsized fish in an ocean.

Disney has Disney, Pixar, MCU and Star Wars. Universal has Jurassic World, Fast and Furious, Illumination to fall on to. Sony has Jumanji, Spiderman. Paramount has Mission Impossible and Transformers (although out of commission for now). If you look at these, they are franchises with billion dollars return still waxing strong. Animation that WB would have developed competency in, they totally abandoned that genre for Disney and Universal.

WB has only DC, for now. Fantastic Beasts sef is until next year. That's the reason the whole focus is on HBOMax now and they didn't mind sacrificing movies for the streamer to shine this year.

PS: my opinions tho, I might be wrong. That's just my own deductions.

Most of WB movie franchises made their fame and money during the early 2000s to 2012/13. One thing in life is that you can't always be on the top forever. Even disney was nowhere during this period until the 2009/2011 with Marvel and star wars.

Right now, WB has to gradually bring back these same franchises again which I believe they are doing.

As for conjuring being a midfish is totally wrong as the Conjuring verse is one of the most profitable movie franchises out there.

The same WGTC also spread false news that Pattinson hates Matt and is difficult to work with. Another fake news was that Pattinson impregnated Zoe during filming (spread by cosmic book).

You claim to be a writer yet you have failed to do proper research and due diligence on articles you come across.

I know you are seriously pained by some of WB actions but it doesn't mean that you have to take delight in spreading false news.

Bros Flash multiverse story is way before Doctor Strange or anything Marvel has thought up. Marvel only followed suit after they saw the massive online chatter that followed DC's move.

Multiverse was even talked up as far back as DC Fandome in 2020.

Firstly, the Nolan hiring Ray news is fake as it was spread by "We got it covered" on Twitter.

Secondly, Boyega is not cancelled as he has been in different TV shows and movies since his outburst. He has a movie coming out this year.

Same cannot be said about Ray.

You don't get the point. You want to show us a world we haven't seen in 3 decades without a lengthy introduction to it when you haven't developed the existing one?

What's the difference between what the world haven't watched in 3 decades and what the world haven't watched in 2 decades? You thing Tobey's spidey was done yesterday? A lot of young fans are mcu fans and not even marvel fans. They know Tom's spidey and not tobey's.

Dr. Strange is built up in layers, the multiverse is built up by marvel in layers. Loki is building it up, Wanda vision already opened the possibility to it.

CW flash did all these but since it's CW you don't care.

And Disney aren't bringing in Maguire Garfield in the first Spiderman film. We already know about Tom whatever his name is Peter Parker. We don't really know who Ezra Miller's flash or Barry Allen is. You haven't developed the main character and you want to develop 4 more in a runtime of 2 hours while creating space for action and fx. I don't expect anything from this movie. It's one dumpster fire I am seeing. I hope I am wrong.

There is no much need to do another development on Ezra's barry since we have had the flash tv series for over 6 years based on the same character. Spiderman doesn't have a tv show, so it is important. Flash, on the other hand is a 50-50 thing because there is nothing new you want to know about Barry Allen. That's why Ezra's flash was brought in to the flash show. (i am trying to see it from their own angle).

However, I get your point but since they want to use the flash as a reset button, even 3 hours will not be enough to give us a character development on the flash and the multiverse issh there are doing in this movie.

I don't even think it's flashpoint they are doing. Flashpoint would have been better than this multiverse thing. It's like trying to catch up to marvel again. Flashpoint and time travel would set up a better reboot than merging worlds together or that nonsense. I don't just get the interest in Keaton and bringing into the films the arrowverse world.

Stop spreading false news as it's not a catch up thingy per se.

The DCEU was the first to come up with the multiverse concept using the flash movie and the main reason why they wanted to do it was to erase Snyder's work and restart afresh. Like a reset button.

So, some people are now campaigning on twitter for Ray Fisher to be brought back to the flash movie. The same people who were pushing Ray to abandon the movie and encouraging him to insult the the studio and it's execs?

What has changed now that they want Ray fisher in the flash? The same movie that they said will be trash.

We warned them but they never listened.

Ray should have been diplomatic with the way he went with the issh. He should have consulted John Boyega or other smart people like (Ben Affleck or Gal etc). I really like the guy and supported him from the unset before the cyborg movie was thrown out.

His acting career looks dead before going anywhere. Which studio will give him a career breakthrough movie?

By now we who have had a cyborg in the flash and potential cyborg movie announcement.

I have waited for a cyborg movie for long and we were so close in getting it before Ray threw it in the dustbin.

However, I pray that he shines and succeeds elsewhere if he doesn't get the cyborg role. I also hopes he gets that apology he so much seeks from WB (although, it looks very unlikely that he will get one).

Don't get your hopes up bro. There is a high percentage that you will be disappointed.

The ZSJL was 4 hours long and there were still scenes that were cut.
