The only thing making headway for HBOMax is only borrowed content from fellow DC/WB sister programming.

Look their slate, their own organic DC content is almost nonexistent apart from announcement in name only. Even animation wey dey faster na F9, by now they should have finished that Aquaman Atlantis.

They're too slow jare. I was thinking it was cos of covid and pampering them before. But after seeing Disney+ and Netflix churn rate I just dey vex. There's no excuse.

I agree with you that they are slow in releasing some DC shows like Aquaman KOA, Batwheels etc...But those shows are targeted towards children o, so no go put too much eyes, or else you might end up being disappointed..

And from my pov, I don't think we will have much original DC shows this year since HBOmax is dishing out WB movies for free every month.

The only original max DC show that will stream this year is Titans and probably Doom patrol.

Coming to think of this, this news is actually huge!!

Imagine Wanda vision on Disney plus pulled 1.6m view (despite disney+ having over 100m subs), while the Nevers pulled in 1.4m views (despite hbomx having 17m+subs).

This shows that more people are watching hbomax because I see no reason why D+ shouldn't be having huge viewing numbers than Hbomax.

PS: I have still not completed watching, until I am able to purge the Jossh Whedon factor from my head..lol

They've succeeded in gradually pushing Netflix to 3rd position.

This shows that Netflix is feeling the heat as they just signed a whopping $400m dollars buy over of knives out 2 and 3, and also made a $1bn deal with Sony studios starting from 2022.

Also, D+ numbers is no surprise as it has a lot of fans especially in the US.

ZSJL and a very huge chunk of praise to GvK for really boosting HBOmax numbers.

I won't be surprised if they announce next week that HBOmax sub is within the range of 25m-35m subs in the US.

The streaming war battle is still on and getting really intresting

I think Jason has also sided with Ann and Hamada.
