adonainana: So the part of the law which is obtaining payment under false pretense no be law abit, Section 418 of the penal code no be law too, defamation is the only law in this nigeria
When they arrested magu and said they have evidence he is corrupt, imagine magu opening his mouth and saying he will sue them for defamation
See why you need to be very quiet and not defend criminals point of correction I am not defending criminals neither am I in support of any criminality. The first thing he should do in that scenario is to report the case with EFCC. That way the person cannot sue him as a first accuser. As it is right now he is open for a serious law suit. And he can be in deep shit. He even paid for an advertisement |

I would rather tender my evidence of the scam at the defamation hearing between me and him. Its better than way than to go and be wasting my time at EFCC office.
Not everything you go to EFCC for.

Go to EFCC with your evidence. With his phone number they can fish him out where ever he is.. The law is the law. As much as I feel very sorry for your loss. But do you realise that this thing you just did can turn this case against you? That guy can sue you for defamation and you will be on the defensive and even paying him money for this.
There are better ways of handling such matter. Not paying for ads on nairaland and commuting a crime in its own.
Nairaland mods should be carefull about this. This is not professional at all and can also make themselves liable. |

In addition, you can also enter Nigeria on an expired passport and renew when you get there if you have to travel urgently. Third option is to get an emergency travel certificate from the embassy. are you saying that we should travel all the way to Nigeria to renew passport? Does that make sense |

CAPSLOCKED: MOST CHRISTIANS IN ISRAEL ARE IMMIGRANTS, JUST LIKE THE MUSLIMS THERE. ISRAEL HAS ALWAYS BEEN A JEWISH COUNTRY. THEY DON'T FOLLOW JESUS, AND DISCARD THE ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENTS OF THE BIBLE BECAUSE IT IS A ROMAN INVENTION OF THINGS THAT NEVER HAPPENED. THEY USE THE TORAH, FROM WHERE ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY BORROWED THEIR IDEAS.
ISRAELI HISTORIANS AND RESEARCHERS HAS SINCE DENIED BEING SLAVES IN EGYPT AND TRAVELING THROUGH THE BUSH FOR FORTY YEARS TO SETTLE IN A LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY. THE SUPPOSED OWNERS OF THESE STORIES ARE DENYING THEM, BUT NIGERIANS IN A CONTINENT ENTIRELY TAKE THE BIBLE AS 100% FACT AND WILL STIGMATIZE ANYBODY WHO DARES DISAGREE WITH THE CLEAR TO SEE ABSURDITIES. so you say Israel denies Moses? So which law are the Jews following ? My brother or sister go and read the Bible and you will know why Israel is highly significant to Christians. You talk about Hitler, he wasn't the first to attack the Jews that way, the Bible tells us of several occasions they were sent on exile. And the final one. And how they will be gathered together now as a sign. We'll go and read and stop talking like this. I bet you are not even a Christian. If you are not, then what is your business ? |

To the OP, Pananma may not be so good in terms of opportunities but you will be more accepted there than in Israel. And do not call it nonsense |

Adjo10: Hello justwise, the Brazilian passport can take you to every country a US passport can take you to except, Japan, Canada and Australia. In return however, the Brazilian passport can take you to Russia, Turkey, Cuba and Iran which US and British passport holders need visa to. You can also stay in the UK visa free with a Brazilian passport for 6 months in 1 year + 3 additional months in Ireland.
I am not saying one is better than the other and i don’t compare countries. All i am saying is that they can replace each other to a very large extent especially when it comes to Europe. You will be better off working in Europe as a Brazilian than a US citizen because of tax implications.
Well... you have the internet, you can confirm it for yourself. I usually find it very difficult to make sense to a lot of people, please forgive my ignorance. I have lived on 4 continents include the US and England and i see things from a very broad perspective but i am also extremely limited in many things. I’m more than humbled to hear your point of view. We learn everyday and it will be more than a blessing to learn from you and everyone here.
If there is one thing i have learnt in life, is that, the more you discover the world, the more you realise how little you know. I don’t know much.
Cheers abeg please do you know when Brazil will start allowing flights in? And are the borders open now? Leave them justwise abeg. Not everyone have access to give birth in the US anymore. He should leave Brazil for us if it is advanced Nigeria as he calls it, at least it is "advanced" |

Education and Technology remains the key in China and they are using it well...
Ghana on her own has advanced so much through technology that the country is now the envy of many. Even Nigerians now toil day and night to get Ghanaian visa. Education in Ghana study is what an average Nigerian child always cries to go to Ghana and get it soundly.
Tanzania is another country moving in the right direction. The president has once again shown that Tanzania are forces that can't be toiled with.
Is it Namibia, Botswana or Rwanda..These are countries moving in the right direction. They knows what they want and are going for it.
What about the Rainbow nation, the pride of Africa herself. The melting point of africa. South Africa has in all in all shown the capacity to lead Africa.
Senegal is rising same as Madagascar...
When chips are down, God bless East Africa and those contributing to her greatness.
China needs to be applauded for doing great job in managing the pandemic. your grammar sha... Maybe you need to get an education in one of those countries. .... You don't need a visa to go to Ghana |

Officialgarri: Replace ke? Is it your money?
Look at the disrespect we face as a sovereign nation over a money that belongs to us o, just because our past leaders have been figures of international embarrassment.
NOI is yet to explain to us how about the $250 million released to us out of $500 million abacha loot was withdrawn and misappropriated.
The cash was released to the Office of National Security Adviser( ONSA) without appropriation.
About $36,155,000 (N13,015,800 billion) out of the $250million was also withdrawn in cash “without any purpose” on March 2nd, 9th, 16th and 18th of 2015.
If the past governments can't do well to judiciously spend the repatriated loots, then it is expected that we will face this kind of public embarrassment they are talking about Buhari here |
