That’s a dehumanising statement to make about your own child. What is dehumanizing about what he said? Lightening they say doesn't strike a place twice. If it does then there is a problem somewhere. Fighting killings with killings and instigating minions to murder others, as Kanu chose,as the path to whatever solution he was seeking, is "genuine agitation" to you?
What did Tinubu and Yoruba leaders do to Kanu before he decreed they be killed and their businesses burnt down during #EndSARS?
How are those Yorubas leaders connected with you Igbos getting Biafra or not as Kanu pretended to be fighting far?
What is "genuine agitation" with Kanu's many, murderous, evil and lunatic ways ? If you don't understand English then that's your problem. I can't help you with that. I said I do not approve of his ways but his agitations are pretty much justified. If you don't understand that statement then get lost. |

emkz: Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest, Sam Amadi, Adolphus Wabara, Aloy Ejimakor and Peter Obi have all condemned the conviction of Nnamdi Kanu.
1. Have they ever condemned Monday sit-at-home that crippled the entire southeast on Mondays?
2. Did they ever condemn Nnamdi Kanu's incitmement of violence?
3. Did the remember the families of those killed due to incitement?
Some like Wabara, Aloy Ejimakor, and Sam Amadi insist that the conviction was a conviction of Ndigbo. Ndigbo is not violent and Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa do not represent Ndigbo.
Ndigbo are not abusive the way Nnamdi Kanu was quarrelsome, violent and abusive in the court room.
This conviction should mark the end of violence in the southeast and allow those who committed murder in the name of Biafra agitation to be put on trial. If the Igbo nation condemn the conviction, how come not all governors have openly condemned it? What about senators and representatives?
As for Peter Obi, his urge was to harvest political capital from his reckless statement. He thinks it would appeal to his base. Where was Peter Obi when Nnamdi Kanu was ranting in court? Where was Peter Obi when Nnamdi Kanu refused to defend himself and his lawtyers engaged in social media and media prostitution to whip up sentiments?
Peter Obi said Nnamdi Kanu should never have been arrested int he first place. Can Peter Obi clarify if he endorses the violence Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa instigated? You are talking dust as usual. Why not look into the root cause of his agitations instead of bringing down the hammer on him? This is our problem in this country. We are never proactive to nip a budding problem in the bud rather we wait until that problem grows into a monster before acting. As k yourself the question, if Nigeria was a functioning entity would anyone want to break away? Look at the way western societies function and tell me if any region wants to break away The truth is the Thieving British government are still the ones calling the shot behind the scenes. I know the must have had a hand in his abduction and extraordinary rendition. |
Crime › Re: American Registered Nurse Cries Out: All My Impersonators Are From Nigeria by themanderon: 11:09pm On Nov 23, 2025 |
DamnnNiggarr: Are we, the Nigerian youths, cursed with commiting crimes?
Certainly NO, Nigerian youths are not cursed. We are not cursed people. But we are carrying the heavy weight of systems that have failed us for decades, systems that have pushed many to desperation, others to anger, and some into choices that stain our collective identity. When the world hears “Nigeria” and immediately thinks “fraud,” it should hurt us, not because it is always true, but because it is often believably true.
But must we accept this as who we are?
Why should one nation’s name appear in almost every international story of fraud?
Why should talented young people (some of the smartest, most hardworking on the continent) be reduced to defending their nationality everywhere they go?
When did we allow survival to become an excuse for anything at all, even wrongdoing?
These are questions we must face honestly.
We are not inherently corrupt. We are not born scammers. We are not cursed. Yet, some among us have chosen to normalize internet fraud “yahoo,” “wire-wire,” “guy-man,” and all the modern variations. And society (music, culture, social media) often glamorizes the lifestyle instead of condemning it. Too many are being applauded for money they cannot account for. Too many are being pressured into crime by a system that makes legitimate success look impossible.
But let us ask ourselves:
If everyone is doing whatever they must to “make ends meet,” what happens to the soul of a nation?
If fraud becomes a culture, how do we expect the world to see us?
If you wear the label of “scammer” so casually today, what will your children inherit tomorrow?
The truth is simple: A country with good leadership, working systems, and opportunities does not produce a generation that sees fraud as an option.
Our leaders have failed repeatedly. They have abused trust, stolen public wealth, and set the worst examples.
But still, their failure cannot become our excuse for creating more damage.
If leaders have failed us, must we also fail ourselves?
If the system is broken, must our values also break?
To Every Nigerian Feeling Ashamed by International Stories
Just like this case of a U.S. nurse discovering multiple impersonators from Nigeria, complete with screenshots, yes, these incidents cut deep. They embarrass us. They annoy us. They feed stereotypes.
But remember: the actions of a few do not define the worth of millions. Still, the actions of a few can damage the reputation of millions.
So the question is:
How long will we allow the irresponsible behavior of some to stain the honest work of many?
A Call for Reflection and Change
Nigerian youths are brilliant. Innovators. Builders. Creators. Athletes. Scholars. Movers of culture across the world. There is nothing cursed about us.
But we must decide what identity we want to stand for.
Do we want a Nigeria where our passports raise eyebrows?
Or a Nigeria where our names open doors?
Do we want to be feared or respected?
Do we want to be known for our scams or our genius?
The Future Is Still in Our Hands
We cannot undo the damage overnight. We cannot fix the country alone. But we can start with ourselves (our values), our choices, our pride as a people.
Let us build a Nigeria where we don't need to defend our nationality. Let us build a future where success is something we earn, not something we steal. Let us reclaim our name, not by shouting, but by living differently.
Nigeria is not cursed. But Nigeria will only rise when we stop behaving like a cursed nation.
The change we want begins with us. They learnt from their criminal minded leaders. |

I'm MT: Irrespective of what happens in Nigeria, the US has no legal right to say they want to launch military attack on another country uninvited
The US created the global rule-based system which Trump is currently destroying. There are diplomatic channels that countries use to communicate. No sane country comes to social media to plan war.
When US voted a convict as President, no one talked. When guns are killing them in their thousands, no country threatens to attack the US. US and any allies help are welcome but not through disrespect. Right approach has to be done. Be there speaking English. By the time the bombs start dropping you will know the US makes and breaks the rule as they so desire. |

Hi legionISproteus: but wait o. Is he not makking sense? the so-called western world you are saying has bad effect on their children and teenagers is the same country you and your family will fast and pray, do night vigil, and post on instagram "welcome to new dispensation" when you step foot on their soil. If this "western world" is a place you detest because of how you feel their children and teenagers are behaving, why do you spend so much of your resources to travel there and want to live? some of you even use fradulent documents to make that trip a reality? even worse you claim the children and teenagers there are badly behaved but when your visas expire, you do not want to return to your country filled with well behaved children that will greet you "uncle good morning" everyday. is that not foolish?
Hypocrites all of you
I saw someone post here that no other group on earth celebrates getting a foreign passport more than nigerians and it is true. Yet these same nigerians will say the women of this "western world" are badly behaved, the children of this "western world" are badly behaved, the teenagers of the "western world" do not respect their elders. Nigeria and all the beatings and torture you've meted out on your children, has it made your country any better.
Think with that tuber of yam between your ears for a minute. I also do not support beating children for their mistakes or to make them "fear authority". If that was how you were trained in this life, I am sorry for you but there are better ways to raise children which translates into a better society in general (like the "western world" your people dream of visiting like it is heaven) Wallow in your ignorant bliss. Have a nice day. |
