I would never recommend boarding school for my children or anyone close to me.. I even thank God that none of my nephews or nieces attends a boarding school.
Vices are easily picked up especially homosexuality, smoking, drinking, early exposure to sexual activities etc. You can easily monitor your children And notice any behavioral changes and address it accordingly.
